I really thought of it but I kinda figured Ywhach didn’t want to risk his “other half”, the “balance” probably doesn’t work if the user is instantly killed in one shot which the old Yamamoto would have definitely done to him if he was in the first Quincy war.
He didn't even have a schrift at that moment.🙄🙄 All the quincies you saw through Yamamoto's znt had no schrift. ́ Lile barro probably joined after war since we didn't see him in any flashback and lile is the first one to receive a schrift
@@Leo-ee1is I think it too. It's probably why yhwach said he needs jugram and needed to find his other half. Yhwach probably saw the future loss to the original gotei 13, and thought he needed jugram as a contingency plan. Cuz remember what ichibei says?? Yhwach will only regain the Almighty by dieing. So dieing I think was part of yhwach plan. He even smiles at young Yama before chojiro sneaks behind him. Like it was all yhwach plan.
Kubo needs to input a Stern Ritter letter library for the final arc. Similar to how Gin and Kon would explain powers, weapons, and Bankai's at the end of episodes in the past arc and fillers. This would give more information and make this more interesting.
I always thought Yhwach just underestimated the soul society. His personal quarrel was with Ichibei. Also he didn’t have the almighty at this time hence it was sealed. Yhwach was impressed by the original Gotei 13‘s ruthlessness. So his sternritters were supposed to mirror them.
Maybe yhwach foresaw that he would be defeated and decided to give haschwalth the 1000 years to build up the strength of the sternritter while he was incapacitated?
Your mind is cooking Simo. You are asking some really important questions. I also agree that it would of been nice to see some more Sternritter/Quincy flashbacks.
The female character was killed by ichibei while she was trying to kill him. The moment they went fighting Yamamoto, they had no schrift . Pernida was there before the war but we know for sure it didn't participate in the previous war
Was the ichibei flashback new anime content? I thought it was added to explain how yhwach obtained pernida and also why yhwach didn't use the almighty during the first war? He couldn't cause the soul king's arm was sealing the almighty and when yhwach died(?), the seal was undone and he turned the arm into pernida? Am i missing something?
Yhwach underestimated the soul reapers. His personal quarrel was with Ichibei. The Quincies more stumbled upon the og Gotei and suffered a humiliating and brutal defeat. This left a mark on Yhwach. Also that his almighty was sealed. He wouldn’t want to go looking for his other half again if Haschwalth died
Hey Simo-a huge, long-time fan of your channel and content. Just a quick quip. The Quincy woman we saw in this most recent episode’s name is Nikita Deathlock allegedly. She did not invade Soul Society with Ywach the first time because Ichibei took her out. If you recall the flashback (episode 24) when she attacked Ichibei with a Gatling-gun style weapon, he reflected her reishi bullets back at her as he proceeded to seal Ywach’s eyes. I believe he killed her as I feel the main purpose of this interaction was to set the tone of the fight later. Ichibei has no real peers or contenders in terms of power, positions, etc. Ywach and Ichibei are in a class of their own, which makes Ichibei’s defeat later on at the end of cour two all the more impactful.
Feel like if Kubo wants to go into the Quincies and reveal things, it will be next season with how they are talking about a lot of new stuff. Maybe even in the hell arc too if he gets around to it, Lille Barro seems like a being above human quincy. Quincy are different species to regular humans.
I also think so, kubo should make a small arc or movie completely dedicated to Quincies and their world in shadow realm. Quincies must be treated properly just as shinigami instead of making them complete evil.
My theory is that Yhwach used all Sternritter to invade the Soul Society. Every single one of them died (Haschwalth and Bazz B too). We know that humans reincarnate as souls in the Soul Society. They hid in the Schattenbereich for 990 years waiting for Yhwach's return. During that time they got stronger and honed their Schrift skills. Some Sternritter were recruted only a few years ago like Äs Nödt. Others like Haschwalth or Bazz B are over 1000 years old. Robert probably too. This would also explain how they stopped aging. It's because souls age differently than the living. The only flaws in my theory are the dead Hubert, Argola and Zeidritz. They also should have reincarnated. Maybe they couldn't because Yamamoto killed them with his Bankai and made them unable to pass over. After all he can control the dead with Zanka no Tachi. Or the second option. Maybe Yhwach killed them during friendly fire. Only a Zanpakuto can send a soul to Soul Society. A Quincy destroys souls.
Ichibei clearly said that a 1000yrs was not enough to atone for Yhwach's intolerable behavior. For this reason i believe Ichibei sealed Yhwach immediately after Yamamoto one shotted him.
Seyditz having green part of his uniform and the eyepatch. He reminds me very much of lille barro. Cuz lille is the only elite with green in his clothes. I don't think its a coincidence either. And seyditz was very close to yhwach when they were attacking bazz's castle. So he was definitely in that lille barro and jugram role at the time. To me jugram and lille are the most loyal quincy of yhwach and his closest warriors.
No need for all villains to be related to, especially if it doesn’t help the agenda of the main villain. It’s not world building if every NPC has a backstory that is forced upon us, it would feel like a filler arc
'm sorry but the timeline is very confusing. And Yhwach doesn't seem like the guy that would enter a losing battle since we found out that he initiated the first attack without his almighty. That would make Yamamoto's efforts look not so heroic. So, in the end, what he should really be praised for was that he managed to keep the other 12 mongols at bay.
Im _alllll_ for flashbacks lore backstories hell even good filler. I mean look at what happens with manga that doesnt, JJK, with a mangaka that gets upset he has to explain his story
During the flashback Yhwach still has the Almighty before Ichibei sealed it and Yhwach literally said he wanted to build a new force to invade the soul society. How could you possibly think he already invaded the soul society?
@ well, building a new force to invade could still mean after his first defeat by Yamma and so he’s building a new army for the current TYBW timeline. I just forgot about Ichibei sealing the Almighty coz i read the manga couple years ago and that didn’t occur to me when i watched this video
Kubo already said in klub outside I think he said something like he dont like to give villains too much back story cuz then ppl will start to like the villains too much
If that was his answer then it's a pathetic answer. It's not about liking a villain, it's about understanding. It's like telling a story with missing information that leaves people scratching their heads. You tell a story to convey a message to those who are hearing it. If the story keeps on raising questions after questions, it means that you have failed your goal of conveying your point across. The question at 5:44 to 6:20 about why Lille was the very first quincy to have received his power while the captain wasn't is a really important question.
From my understanding Yhwach only highlighted his sternritters potential. Whether they had the Op-ness in them was entirely their deal. Uryu isn’t so powerful because of some insane power technique (which he still is) it’s more of how tactical he fights. Uryu is a intelligent, tactician and only uses his Schrift as more of a trump . He doesn’t walz into a battle brute force
@Grayson-Winchester i feel it's the Fault of OG anime for Not portraying Uryu as powerful as he actually is in TYBW. Even TYBW Ep 1 Uryu felt Exponentially powerful from his og anime version. I think Kubo really needs to Flesh out everything related to Quincies in next Cour, Else all of his build up will feel pointless, ...Maybe we are gonna get more lore... since it's Said Cour 4 is almost 70% Original content. Nope cause a burly male Quincy covered the shots reflected by Ichibe. The status of the female character is unknown.
Pernida was a artificial being created for the war. It couldn’t have been already physical because it still needed to learn
@@Grayson-Winchester pernida is literally the soul king's left arm... organic as can be
