- This video Mark and I met up with Gary. We decided to Divide & Conquer We all went door knocking and we all gained permission for a fun filled day of treasure hunting. We started at the permission I obtained. It was a very old colonial farm field. We did pretty good and should have stayed there all day, but we decided to try the other farms Mark and Gary got permission to metal detect. Plans B, C, & D didn't pan out but we had a great time!

I have watched a few of these metal detecting videos uploaded by several different people. Never did any metal detecting. Always thought years ago that the coins would be destroyed by the environment. I have done some coin collecting over the years. I could not see putting many of these dug copper coins in these videos in a coin album. Sad to see the old large cents all nearly corroded away. Those old coppers now go high prices in nice grades. The real old rare ones are high priced in lower grades, I would guess a badly corroded one as 1804 would certainly be worth the dig. The silver in these videos fares better over the years and the digging in large streams or small rivers looks the best option to make nice finds. Good luck digging. Interesting videos.

I happened to look at your pants and think if they are like some new ones I recently got. “LA Police Gear Men’s Atlas Tactical Cargo Pants.” I don’t have anything to do with them. High quality design/fabrics, many convenient pockets for EDC knife/flashlight, extra front of pants pockets for your cell, even have interior pockets like football pants for stuffing knee pads into. Definitely worth the investment, especially in these 🤡🌎 times! Skål!

If you use all metal mode, set the Legend to six tones. Then you can lower the volume on the first range (0-10). You'll hear the iron in the background but it won't be obnoxious. Just a tip for the new detector. Great hunt!
