Kumar Bose was born in Kolkata to a distinguished musical family. His first teacher was his father, Bishwanth Bose who taught his son to play his first beat of rhythm. After the latter’s untimely death he was taught by Kishan Maharaj. He currently conducts private lessons in the style of his mentors. His high profile students includes the likes of the Mumbai-based tabla player Shyama Prasad Das. He has a long list of career achievements, such as receiving the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2007.

I am having trouble watching this video, video editing is giving me a headache. What is the point a of changing camera view every 1 second. I came here to see a maestro play tabla, very sloppy way to present a classical music.
