This is my favorite teentaal tabla solo by far. I have listened to Zakir Hussain, Anindo Chatterjee, and so many others. But I keep coming back to this. Amazing job Shabaz Hussein.

I personally admire a few tabla Nawaz like Mian Shaukat Hussain, Tari Khan sahab, Kumar Bose, Sanjoy Mukherjee, Nayan & Ishan Ghosh, Shahbaz Hussain, Mani Bhardwaj Ofcoz Thirakwa Khan sahab top of every one
Yeaaaaah but I personally believe that Pandit Mahapurush Mishra ji plays the sweetest and clearest dhir dhir in my opinion. I don't want to heart any body else's opinion.

Veere tusi pehle hi inna vadhia vajande ho. Tuhaade Ustad Ji ne Duniya bhar da tabla tuhanu choti Umar ton sikhaya hoya. You are lucky to have such a generous teacher.
I will never be that good but at 6yo my boy can be proud to have a real tabla kit while other American play Nintendo after school, for the same price. Really hard stuff to find in Canada by the way !
