I’m level 516 and I just started NG+ so I don’t mind re-experiencing grindin’
lol pathetic
Wow! What rune farming method do you recommend? I'm only level 100 RN.
Sounds like you take it slow like I do. I wanted to see every square inch. You only get to play it for the first time once.
@@michaelnapper4565 the thing is after the first maybe ten hours of just randomly exploring I’ve been quite focused on what I have been doing. There’s just so much!!!
If you put Map Markers on every Site of Grace... will they still be there so you know where they all are at the start of New Game + ? :)
Good question ! Crazy how nobody comments this 😂
@@punisher8632 The answer is yes, they stay on the map. Just started New Game+ and they are still there. :)
So, if you played a Souls game before you already know what to expect in NG+.
Yes, except there are no NG+ specific items like in the Souls series - kinda upsetting.
You mightve Saud it but I started ng+ and I have all my cookbooks etc
I don't even want to do a new game plus playthrough. First soulsborne game I've ever played where I didn't want to keep playing after a playthrough. Maybe after dlc.
Was I the only one hoping for more Insensitive to NG? In Dark souls there where lots of items you didn’t discover until NG, not to mention the red spirit enemies that are only in NG+. I just completed journey 2 and there is no reason for me to NG other than I want more of the same thing.
probably if you wanna dual wield Blasphemy sword or Morgott's sword, or get the Bull-Goat armour since it's tied to Patches and Volcano manor and it's probable people didn't pay much attention to Patches or outright killed him.
Invaders are not just ng+ in dark souls, I've never done a ng+ and fought loads of them.
@@MeppiMonster They're referring to npc invaders. In previous souls games ng+ includes more npc invaders or red phantom enemies. Dark Souls 2 had a ton of these
Will all NPC’s be revived? I killed Yura and I really want his ash of war, so I’m hoping he’s alive in my NG+
Get it from the twins in roundtable hold
@@kylitrixgames4980 you can’t
All npc revive
just use a celestial dew
Very Good!! Thank you very Much
Amazing video, so useful, thank you. Subsribed. Nitpic up the sound, very quiet to hear over the game :)
How many hours did everyone play first gsme before ng+ im on 310 hours
love how i see this right after starting ng +
Got to love it
thank you for the total breakdown, but elephant in the room, can you keep smithing your weapons that are already plus 10?
Thanks for the video, I am about to start NG+ and wonder if the stoneward keys will carry over?
They do :)
Best game ever.
Do you stay the same level? Or do you go back to a fresh start? Like vigor strength dexterity?
I'm on Journey 3 lol
Waves of Gold got me right in Mohgwyn.
Is it better to rune farm in NG+ than in the first play through? Trying to determine whether or not I should just max out before going NG+ or if I should just jump to NG+ since it’ll be more runes then
Do you mean max level your character?
If you're wanting to max all of your stats you're going to want to head to ng+ and beyond. It would take forever otherwise
Do you still get to keep all of the crafting /Cookbooks?
Yes you do. Any that you have purchased will be shown as purchased from a merchant
Excellent. Thanks very much 😊
Wish I found this sooner because I almost finished ng+ 4
7:35. I did the same thing with the same remembrance haha
the one thing I was curious about was do you get to keep boss remembrances because I have milanas and I can't duplicate it in my current play through I really don't want to fight her again😅
Exact same problem
@@Noname-xr7tt I think you do. I never cashed in the Elden Beasts remembrance but I kept it into NG+. So I think they are retrained and you can just get another copy of them in the new playthrough.
you keep the rememberances you obtained. It's like the boss souls for dark souls, if you get em again you just have 2 or however many in your inventory
Blasph sword and Tiche make the fight super easy.
What about runes in you're inventory like great,, golden, hero, lord runes ???
You can sell Remembrances to a vendor. I believe the one you have sells for 50k. They range from 20k-50k. That's why it's also a good idea to get the things you want with them, and then take advantage of the walking mausoleums per run and duplicate them. I made 3 copies of Malenia's because it sold for 50k.
Could farm over a mil by the time you duplicate 3 times
@@rushpatriot2866 Yes, but the other part is turning them in for the gear. I sold most, then later decided to be a completionist so now wish I got all of their gear, so wasting the chance to use the walking mausoleums is still worth mentioning for those other than you.
You can also just USE them like any rune Numens, Heros, Great Rune.
This is absolutely terrible as a rune making strat.
Just go te underworld farm there for 15 min and you will have 10x more runes
I prefer a new character to new game plus. New game plus tends to be too easy and I've usually already collected most items in my first play through.
im glad i worked my butt off to make sure i could use anything and everything i wanted, any weapons and any spell or incantation... i have no need of another character or playthrough. I explored the hell out of the game and took nearly till the other day to finally finish my first play. Why rush through a whole bunch of times?
why not get a quality experience once?
you people are just too caught up in being able to say I'm on my 99th play through or... no you're not. but anyway whatever play through you are on good for you like I just finished my first
This is exactly what I wanted to know! Thanks!
0:00 hey that’s my message on top of the staff thing to his right
I told myself i wasnt going to do any ng+ with elden ring as i get bored finding so much duplicate gear amd stuff. But i messed up the lobster guy quest and it really bothers me that i cant buy that item for the defense boost. I think i do want to do every endings but i will just make new characters and do each one different.
Does your chest inventory carry over?
That's what I wanted to know
Can I respec in any point after I finish the game and before starting NG+?
Basically can I fast travel from roundtable to Rennala before starting the new game?
Thanks.
Yes you can do that
Whew! Very glad I get to keep my "Lavar tears."
Biggest mistake with starting NG+ is starting NG+
Good stuff to know! Also, Lavard Tears? 😂
I just wanna get the white mask since I wasn't able to get it the first time 😪
I wasn’t able to either so I got it the second time.
Right! I got the roses but not the mask. Like wtf?
I finished the first journey and never crafted anything or used all those books.
Great vid. Thank you
Id rather they re.ove the map markers so u can tell what u haven't done already
“Keep doing what you’re doing because you’re already doing it.” That’s called status quo bias.
Thanks for the vid. Does the dark moon greatsword carry over as it’s quest related? Thanks
Did you just ask if a weapon carries over? This was talked about in the video...
do you loose the consumable runes in your inventory like the hero runes?
No you keep those
Rememberances sell, for a decent amount of runes, I remember seeing Radans i think for 40k to sell.
Tbh they become worthless after first game. You can get double weapons on ng+ but that's about it.
Yeah but 40k very quickly becomes pocket change. I'm only lvl170 and it's already about 250k a level.
Do you lose all of your acquired armour sets? Such as Veterans, Crucible Knight etc?
Sound on this video is way to low. Can barely hear you. Otherwise good night explanation. Ty
If I do Blaidd's quest line again in NG+ will I receive the Royal Greatsword again?
Meaning I would have two and be UnStoppable!!! 🔥🔥🙏🔥🔥
Yes
at 5:00 - how did you get up to volcano manor then? I'm confused, I thought the only two ways were through the Ruin Strewn Precipice or the Grand Lift. Is there actually another way?
Yes. In Raya Lucaria Academy you can get kidnapped by Iron maiden, straight to Volcano manor.
didn't realize you could purchase the shackles- unless you're using one of those trash rmt shops
Just about to start NG+5 So many things I need to get.
Nice vid, but 1 thong you got wrong are your runes. I'm in ng+4 and haven't lost my runes ever
upgraded fingerprint shield and an upgraded thrusting weapon. all you need lol
I noticed in your inventory there were golden runes/ lord runes… those all transfer over to NG+ as well??
Can you keep all your talisman?
Yes
Do you lose your lord runes
No you keep those
Is it just me or would you rather just play a 1st run new save than NG+.. it takes the challenge and adventuring away impo.. unless they made it much more difficult, currently too easy impo..
I had no idea what changes new game plus brings. But after watching this video I now know that it's exactly what common sense told me it would be and I wasted my time
When you say you will loose your runes is that both runes that have not been broken\used or just the amount that shows when at the merchant?
