It would be nice to understand how the AU plumbing code/piping systems differ from other countries. Seems rather strange to me, coming from the USA. We vent sewerage gases through the roof, and all plumbing is in a closed system with cleanout plugs at every toilet/sink/shower/tub for snaking out. UK also has some rather odd (to me) drainage systems for both storm water and poopee water.

@@DrainAddict I plan to add unblocking drains to my business this year when the winders over. Already got all the tools cause we a pressure washing company. Only need the hoses and nozzles and a bit of knowledge. Mind helping out?

I don't see clean outs in the USA often at all. Normally means "pull the toilet" when it's time to clear a drain.
