I've seen any number of centuries and highlights of one kind or another from O'Sullivan, but what really shows how great a player he is is his handling of gnarly positions like these. Thanks for putting them up.

While waiting for the intro to run I started thinking this would probably be just 5 of his 147 breaks and almost didn't watch it. Very good choices. Thanks.

Ronnie, like Ali, Greyzky, Ruth , Woods brings people to the game that would never normally watch. That's a rare talent.

that clearance against Ali Carter is probabaly the best clearance in the history of snooker.

Great selections. I would say that the 147 he made against Mark Williams was a great break as well

Almost 3 min intro? Michael Jackson had a shorter intro dude in his concerts. He’s not a model, he’s a snooker player.

I always feel sorry for the commentators in these situations because ... they have to make comments, add colour as it were and they can only say what they would have done in their day ... but R.O'S is better than anything they have ever had to play against so when they say oops he went too far or blah blah blah it has gone this or that for them but not for Ronnie who has the quickest snooker mind in the game and his way is not their way so at times they would be better off keeping their mouths shut ...which of course they can't because that is not what they are paid for so sometimes they just can't win but comments here that put them down are made without thought of the predicament they are in !! :-)

After Willies nonsense at 24:20 about Ali returning to play safe he says nothing for 70 seconds until Dennis prompts him. Embarrassed obviously. What a numpty.

  • @elrondsch

How can you call the second break a career break? He eventually lost and Higgins became world champion=)

  • @mattcast44

No, Ronnie O'Sullivan is not 'by far the greatest snooker player of all time'. He is a fantastic player and arguably the most talented snooker player of all time. I love watching him play and I hope he wins 3 more World Championships which would surely establish him as the greatest, but even then it would not be 'by far'. No disrespect to him or to you. I will pay to see him play in the WC this month and I hope he will win, but he is not the greatest by far and even he wouldn't claim as much.
