This is a Demoniac Hero Class tier list video for Heroes of might & magic 3: Horn of the Abyss.

Good critique but I'd stick with the formula you had for your previous tier lists.
A seperate video debating some of the chosen tiers would be really good though. It's clear there are differing opinions and it would do good for viewers to hear a debate like that.

ok so in my opinion make the tier lists solo. i love you inviting guests and premanent cat noises in the background.
and Invite te guests after you did them and discuss the placement and you can make adjustments acording the each playstyle.
Maybe just discuss the more contrevertial picks. or whatever hero placement the guest aggressivly dissagrees with.
i would love to see the guys and even more in the future back

I really liked that you get to have discussions with two other enthusiasts who seem to have a decent grasp as well.
But maybe use something else than a tier list as base for it?
Discussing important turns/battles on one of you guy's replays? Finding openings that might not be as obvious to the general player... A game where you three sit and backseat eachother together could also be interesting.
Anyhow, keep the content flowing, its really enjoyable :)

The reason why marius is better than nymus is because demoniacs are more likely to roll offence than defence, so she is less likely to botch her skill tree

Arguments can be made about Cahl and Ingni beeing S tier, just because they are the starting meta for inferno, and without them, its pretty hard to get going in time. And they are actually useable side heroes, especially igni, becazse you get so much meat from him
@@orsdekany2594 problem is, Lexiav is giving tiers to all those heroes according to how good they are in the entire game, not just in their faction, in the way that you could take all those lists and compile into a single list (or he at least does seem to do it that way, he sounds quite biased at times too, then again he isn't trying to be objective about it anyway, so whatever). By putting Cahl and Ignatius into S, you are automatically comparing them to S heroes from other faction, and yeah, they won't fare really well against guys like Crag Hack or Alkin, will they? I'd say for a hero to be S, he must excell at not only being good heroes for their faction, but also really good hero when you are playing other towns. Cahl and Ignatius are not that type of hero, but putting them at B might have been a bit harsh.
@@LordIvul I dont say they are S tier (tho Igni is not bad as a starting tavern hero in factions without big terrain penalty, 50-60 imps are good to tank with nearly anything), I think they are mid-low A tier, but an argument can be said about then beeing S tier, because they kinda enable inferno to exsist in compatitivr play and thats a huge achivement
@@orsdekany2594 Also food for thought, Gogs are better than Lizardmen and Archers without any upgrade, in all versions of the game, if for some reason you have to push forward and bringing your main stack back to castle is too much, Gogs do better than average.

I think that Inferno needs a special hero for JC with pitf. in one or two starting slots and a specialty to upgrade them. Smth like def and diplomacy included. Perhaps this option will make it possible to at least sometimes see demonology (meat converting from the 111, quick build of a Hell Hole and +3 pitl. 112, no need upg.building in a town, making of pitl. directly in dwellings on map).
Is giving demons a spell book at the start of the game can be a solution to thiers drunkenness?
Some video idea: do the tierlists on your own, and after it, make a video with the guys discussing your opinion, so we can see what your truly think, and then might correct it, after the discussion, and you can actaully make it longer, would be pretty fun:D

Honestly, if you consider the fact that as Inferno you want to start with a stack of gogs, you're unlikely to want Xeron as your guy, Fiona provides exactly the same starting army (1x Imps 2x Hounds) and is better as a hero overall, his only good quality is the devils bonus, meaning it requires a condition just to be activated; it's the risk factor.

You did rashka dirty. any wisdom scholar hero deserves to be at least B tier. Just a little investment and this guy can be gamechanging. Transfering slow spell and animate dead is already common enough, and there are few scenarios where you find jeddite or solmyr or deemur in tavern. Then having a main hero, jeddite and scholar wisdom hero you can 100% secure decent spellcasting.

Rashka - from a conceptual standpoint - he is very bad. Might hero with 2 magic skills (wisdom and scholar) - WITHOUT A BOOK. I was so sure about him ending up D tier without any further discussion :)
I really like the idea to bring 2 more experienced players to have a bit of a debate with various points. You just need to work a bit more on the synchronization. End debate on the Devil specialty guy was the best..

Interesting idea having other people disagreeing, but I would 100% put Maurius and Nymus in S tier
They actually brought up, a really good point abouz them beeing A tier, and that was: would you main them, on other towns?
Demon farming is not really a thing with other factions.
And another point, that should be stated by Lexiav is, do you rate thrm overall in game, or by town standrads.
The reason is, the high chance to roll fire, which is not really a good skill either, so the fact that they csnt be mained in othet towns, and even if you ignore their specialty, they will probably not be able to highroll to god tier territory makes them A tiet at best.
I do wonder, tho why Cahl and Igni were not low A at minimum, you dont really want to start a JC/JK game without them, so you can take early fights.
And last comment about Xeron, yes Demoniacs do hace a high chance to roll logs, offense, but it wasnt mentioned in thr video that they have a high chance to roll tactics/leadership, Xeron is good, because you dont need to gamble on lower chances to get them while the first 2 are nearly guaranteed.
I have to disagree.
For me, theyd both be in S tier if they both would have respectively offence and defense as a scaling speciality (like a Crag or Tazar)
@@mati1020 lol, its like saying, well for me Luna is the only S tier hero, so comapred to Luna, Tazar and Crag are only A+ tier. S tier, is not broken tier, but the really good, tier, where you are happy to see those champs, main them, or be a broken good support.
@@orsdekany2594 I would main them for their quite nice skill path, if I didn't have anything better, and had something like a knight or ranger, Demoniac is a pretty good choice, also if you get an interno town on the map and demons from boxes you can snowball hard, but I do understand your point.. talking from personal experience, I had an okay main hero but had to roll ballisticks and water magic, then I found Marcius in prison, 5 levels lower than my main but oh boy - expert offense, armorer, logisticks and earth magic, that was a huge jackpot
@@jakubkub3178 but you are not going to get demons, when you are playing Tower for example, yes if see them, as playing with their own faction, they are defenat S tier, but its not the case, thats why I dont really see, anyone who doesnt have tier 1-2 creatuer specilaity is lower for me, because a usless quirk takes up a spot that can have something useful. The only 2 exceptions are Cyclops and Wyvern specialist, because you end up with those, nearly every singel game, but those are not good heroes so whatever, and there is a nische case to be made about Xeron, because he is the only hero (I think) who has a tier 7 specialty, and you if you main him, you might end up diploing devils. (Thats a really rare case tho).
Maybe necro heroes with lich and skeleton specilaity can be useful because you can go necro main, and maybe even get the cape combine arty, but again really really rare to go off town necro main, with one of those heroes, and get the cape with one of them.
Calh deserved to be in A tier above Fiona. Fiona might be more of an utility hero than Calh, but he has more main hero potential, especially on a faction like Tower with many bad heroes, that also has a lot of range units, although you wont use your gogs since the terrain penalty.

Man the other guys i don't get it that devil hero is really good. Tactics super good, Leadership is good. And Devils are good unit for first cast 1 speed could matter also.
