I'm a 77 year old American retired construction worker and I've had foamy urine all my life. I've had several physical exams during my lifetime and never once did they reveal that there was anything wrong with my kidneys. I've been drinking beer since I was sixteen years old and wine since I was thirty years old. and I had a physical in 2008 after which the doctor told me that I was in almost perfect health. She acted surprised about it actually.

Minimize glucose spikes and reduce weight…
For every meal, try to eat in alphabetical order: salad, savory and sweet. You can survive on ZERO carbs daily! Do your very best to keep carbs below 50 daily. The less carbs, the better.
Carbs are your enemy… They are good for short term, conversion to energy, but after 20-30 minutes they turn into a form of glucose which turns into fat on your body.
Eliminate ALL baked goods and dairy products. Once you have regained your health, you can allow some into your diet occasionally.
If you insist eating bread, Dave’s sprouted bread and Ezekiel bread are BEST… Be sure to LIMIT yourself to only 1-2 slices daily and freeze bread for 1-2 days before used to reduce carb impact and create resistant starch to feed your gut biome.
Absolutely minimize all forms of sugar by only eating a very small portion of whole fruit in a day. Never consume fruit juice because it is sugar water when the fiber is removed.
Avoid nonfat or low-fat dairy products as they remove the healthy fat and replace it with sugar.
Learn all the names for sugar and sugar, derivatives to be sure to avoid them by reading labels. Dextrose, maltodextrin, sucrose, and many more names are worse than plain sugar!
To sweeten anything, try using pure Stevia powder which is not sold in supermarkets because an 8-ounce packet can give you up to 5000 servings! On average, using 1/64 of 1 teaspoon is enough to sweeten your cup of tea or coffee. The brand I use is CCnature.
Try to eat salad (without any fruit) before each meal. Then, enjoy a savory meal (meat, broccoli, cauliflower), and then a sweet, if you are still hungry. This should be a piece of fruit or a handful of blueberries or blackberries.
FORGET CEREALS. 100% of boxed cereals are major sources of sugar and carbohydrates with minimal health benefits. Oatmeal is very healthful, BUT it is high in carbohydrates so once or twice a week at most.
Make every effort to avoid having something sweet at the beginning of your day… remember, salad, savory, and then sweet. Eat 3-5 PASTURE-RAISED eggs daily with real butter is extremely helpful. All other terms (free range, range-free, etc.) mean very little for the quality of the eggs. Eggs provide a tremendous amount of nutrition; you need not worry about cholesterol.
High levels of cholesterol indicate your body is healthy… your body is 2% cholesterol by weight; your brain is 25% cholesterol by weight. Your body uses cholesterol everywhere to repair everything. Your body produces cholesterol and will adjust production according to what you consume.
Do not take statin drugs because they interfere with your body’s natural repair system. Also, statin drugs accelerate your body’s aging process; particularly, your brain which means dementia.
You can boil eggs and have those as well as a snack or add to your salads. Be sure you do not overcook your eggs because it reduces nutrition.
Keep the heat low on the stove and be sure to FULLY BOIL your eggs for 5 minutes ONLY and then leave them in the water for 1-2 hours before refrigerating.
Try eating grass-FINISHED beef 1-2 times weekly. Hi enjoy eating wild caught salmon 1-2 times weekly as well.
Rice and pasta are high in carbs, but IF you cook them and refrigerate overnight, most of the carbs will have converted into resistant starch which will feed good bacteria in your gut.
Whenever you purchase fruit or vegetables… Wash them with plain baking soda, and water for five minutes… Slowly scrub them using your bare hands, and after five minutes rinse thoroughly. That will remove most pesticides and other contaminants.
Whenever you purchase bananas, be sure that you rinse them off thoroughly because they have an ripening agent on them, which is not healthy. If you eat the banana after you have touched the skin, the fruit you will be consuming it.
The best way to clean all fruits and vegetables is too wet them and then put baking soda in your hands and massage each piece of fruit or vegetable and you can let them even soak in water after you have done this for about five minutes… Rinse thoroughly, and then let them air dry. This protects you from pesticides and other contaminants.

My Daughter passed away in March 2022. After her passing my health took a turn for the worse. I am diabetic, after she passed my blood sugar levels were out of control. A1C has been as high as 14+. I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure, & my kidney function is low 36% and that is the function in both kidneys. I have had urinary tract infection, bladder and kidney infection. I take antibiotics and 3-4 days after I finish my antibiotics the infection is back. I have been hospitalized for mersa , pancreatitis, kidney stones and infections over the past year. I feel extremely tired, difficulty sleeping, nauseous after eating. I am seeing a nephrologist, urologist, and now a cardiologist. Thank you for ll your Information.

One major thing not mentioned in the dairy section of food not to be eaten in over large amounts is the phosphates in dairy foods. All dairy foods contain high amounts of "phosphates or phosphorus", which the kidneys have a very hard time filtering out. Those with CKD should NOT eat dairy, which includes, milk, milk products, such as cheese and ice cream. Also not mentioned are seeds and nuts. "Those with CKD should not eat any kinds of nuts or seeds because they contain "oxalates" which the kidney cannot filter out very well. A build up will also further increase kidney damage. Why these two items were not mentioned, I don't know. But avoid them. Especially food such as high grain or multi grain foods and breads, crackers and cereal.

Not all ……Correct phosphorus additives chemically in most of our foods and prepared food as preservatives are dangerous for kidneys even for healthy people as it is absorbed quickly. However natural phosphorus in plants nuts naturally are NOT absorbed quickly and percentage is way way less. Therefore the benefit of natural foods are good and if your phosphorus is higher then watch the amount you eat.
      Know the difference
