i missed this! i love the baby Jesus one. so simple and yet so striking. i also like the simplicity added by the strips in the last card. you are one fab lady! xx
Jennifer happy to hear you are coming along very well with your shoulder surgery. These card ideas are just beautiful and I am glad you got your mojo slowly coming back. Thanks for all you continue to do and the inspiration I get from you.
Jennifer, you are so creative and an amazing teacher. I love watching your videos. So many wonderful, great ideas. You are so concise and your explanations are clear. No time wasted, which I love. I always watch your videos and gain so many fabulous ideas. thank you, thank you, thank you❤
Hi Jennifer. I am so happy to hear that your shoulder healing is progressing well. I've gone through this with both shoulders so I can truly appreciate the lengthy recovery. ❤ Thanks so much for such a helpful video. 😊🇨🇦
Happy you are back making cards! I’ve missed your videos! I’m in a similar situation, I have a proximal fracture in my humerus, ouch. You are an inspiration and a joy! Thanks
A wonderful card with those bright color embossed strips on top of the white background! Do love this, it could work with any card, at any season or occasion, and isn’t difficult for us. TYSoMuch, Jennifer! 💌
So glad you are healing. My husband also had shoulder surgery recently and it is an ongoing struggle but he too, is getting better. Love learning from you. Thanks for these great ideas.
You never cease to amaze me. You’ve been doing this for years and you still have lots of new ideas for making cards more beautiful. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us!
So happy to hear that you are doing better. Such great ideas, I especially like the second card and agree that gatefold cards make an extra special card. Looking forward to seeing what you have to share tomorrow. As always, TFS
Beautiful cards Jennifer! Thanks for all the tips and techniques to use! It’s 3:00am and I ‘m in Indiana freezing, yes it’s cold outside, but we lost the use of our furnace yesterday, so I am wrapped up in a blanket in my recliner with my heating pad on! I guess we get a new furnace tomorrow!💞❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Beautiful cards. Thank you again for doing what you're amazing at but not feeling 100% yet. You're giving us all our Jennifer McGuire fix. Thanks for being so selfless but please take good care of that shoulder. ❤
That gatefold card is so pretty. I watch you do it and want to do it and I seem to always mess it up. But I can always hope that this time will be the one! Glad your shoulder is better. I, too, have to have that surgery. UGH
So happy your shoulder is on the mend! I love your creativity. When I make a gate fold card, it bothers me that the right side lifts up slightly. I guess I'm picky lol. Do you have any ideas? Hugs❤
Isn’t your Altenew bonefolder wearing out when using it in a scor board? Mine is… Also the golden letters are falling off… Thank you for all the genious inspiration, I love it! ❤
Gosh....when foiling with hot plates came out, we were told to NOT use our dies for that process. However, I figured you could because their steel is tempered at a much higher temp than needed for foiling! Guess they just wanted to sell us foiling plates. Hmmm.🤔
As someone with boxes and folders full of store bought printed papers, lovely as making your own are, it's a bit too much trouble for me, especially as I'm disabled and crafting can be very tricky.
QUESTION, CRAFTERS ... Does anyone know ABOUT how warm the METAL (Dies OR Foiling Plates) pieces get? I'm having quite enough trouble finding storage for the crafting items I have without adding a foiling machine to the inventory!! I figure if I can make do with the equipment I have, I might try something like this foiling technique. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can offer. 🙏
I'm a bit sad that you're doing foiling. As a senior making cards for over 20 years, I refuse to get into anything new, I have hundreds of stamps, dies and embossing folders. Fixed incomes are pretty limiting.

Amazing cards! QUESTION: When you mist your card stock before embossing, are you missing the front or the back?
Jennifer, so glad that your shoulder is getting better. These cards are beautiful.😍😍😍
The embellishments on the first card what ones are they?
So happy your shoulder is on the mend! I love your creativity. When I make a gate fold card, it bothers me that the right side lifts up slightly. I guess I'm picky lol. Do you have any ideas? Hugs❤
not sure what you mean? do you mean that it opens on it's own a bit? it wont after being int he mail.
@@jennifermcguireink Yes that's what I mean. I didn't realize it would flatten and stay down once it's mailed. Thank you❤️
cc de jolies idées
Hi Jennifer. Was that heavy weight card stock for the blue card?
Isn’t your Altenew bonefolder wearing out when using it in a scor board? Mine is… Also the golden letters are falling off… Thank you for all the genious inspiration, I love it! ❤
Gosh....when foiling with hot plates came out, we were told to NOT use our dies for that process. However, I figured you could because their steel is tempered at a much higher temp than needed for foiling! Guess they just wanted to sell us foiling plates. Hmmm.🤔
Jennifer do you know the difference between the Pawsitively saturated inks and the splash ink rainbow Splash ink pads??
As someone with boxes and folders full of store bought printed papers, lovely as making your own are, it's a bit too much trouble for me, especially as I'm disabled and crafting can be very tricky.
yes! use those patterned papers! for sure. i don't buy patterned papers because i enjoy makng my own. do what works for you!
Question: I just noticed that you taped the filigree snowflake embossing folder shut. Can I ask why?
Just so nothing shifts. Totally optional
I'm a bit sad that you're doing foiling. As a senior making cards for over 20 years, I refuse to get into anything new, I have hundreds of stamps, dies and embossing folders. Fixed incomes are pretty limiting.
Do you ever clean out your stash, and sell things used? I'd be interested. Thanks.
