I can't wait to watch you say hello to Leila Dulys images. Her Floribunda and Flower Year vie for first place in my coloring book heart. I bought them when they first came out years ago and even have two copies of the Flower Year. One copy is strictly colored pencils the other water color. Sheer joy!
I also have the Forest Girl and just completed another picture from it using mixed media. Derwent Drawing and Graphitint Pencils came in handy for that one. Enjoy everything Lucy. Isn't it interesting that your gifts also bring us joy?♿👵🎨 Barb N.

I have The Flower Year by Leila Duly, and love her artwork. Polychromos work well as does Pablos, and my round Brutfuner 520 set.

Leila Duly's books are my favorite and I have them all, including Walk in the Woods that arrived today ❤. I use Polychromos and Irojiten pencils in them. They do take me a while to complete because I have learned to highlight and shade so that all flowers and plants loom realistic. So happy you may do a color-along. ❤ from Canada
So nice you were gifted the Klara Markova books. I had been trying to get a copy of Tenderful Enchantments only to find out it is no longer in print. I wonder why they would not print more. They would surely sell out. Looking forward to seeing your completed pages.

Lucy, thank you for sharing your new books with us. I like "flip" throughs when I am actually given the time to see the pages. Sometimes "flip" is taken a little too literally, and I feel like I haven't seen any of a book at all. I always enjoy your conversational tone and the fact that you really like what you are showing us. Thank you.

I’ve heard of Forest Girl but for some reason dismissed it. Your flip has really made me want to get it, which I’ve just done! Also listed were 2 others I think just called Mint Forest girl. One was a paperback but expensive, but available now. The other a lot cheaper but with a pre order to get and much cheaper. Sorry this info is a bit sketchy but my iPad has nearly run out of charge. There are some lovely books in this video, you always seem to find the good ones. This year I want to try and buy the tried and recommended books as I have had a few disappointments with some I’ve purchased. They are cheaper obviously, but I want to go for quality before quantity and buy fewer. I need to have a ruthless sort out as I was considering buying another bookshelf! I don’t think I’ll need one if I just keep the books I really believe I will colour in and then buy more carefully. I buy when I am depressed but I must just have a good look at my collection instead which I am sure will help me, probably more rather than uninspiring new ones. Amazon is brilliant, but you do need to buy thoughtfully. I shall never be a minimalist but I need to get a grip on my spending - says she who has just bought another book! But forest girl is a very good buy so is ok.

Do you know Jen Racine’s work? She has some lovely small easy books - like Birds and Fleurs, and her 10-Minute Mental Health Moment series … all her work is lovely and simple in feeling.
I am happy to watch anything you colour, those are all spectacular books.

You are the medicine for my spirit., today. It has been a rough day and a rough week. Ugh! I have had two hours sleep since Thursday last. It is now Sunday here. I had my head chewed off by my son's Aunty on his father's today because she thought I was taking to long to answer her text. I was still writing my reply!
I am back on steroids and three inhalers. ( I have COPD and I found out I need more surgery. I have a hernia in the lower part of my tum that needs fixing). I tell you I must be on a winning streak. Not.
So hearing your voice and looking at all those beautiful was a happy, sunny, bright spot in my somewhat dark horizon. I love the Leila Duly book. I have that one. I grabbed it as soon as I saw it on Amazon. I have to be selective in what books and supplies I buy. The new government is has increased taxes ect and cut a lot of funding. They are hard nosed rich listers that are not in sympathetic to people that are low income earners ect. Not like our Jacinda was or Chris Hipkins.

Just what you want in the middle of hot humid weather. I have some medicine being delivered ordered by the one of GP's at the surgery.

Not fond of black widows but they work great Klara Markova books better than prisma colors or polychromos!

I just saw Aeppol is having her first book published in an English edition from an American publisher. It is available for pre-order on Amazon US currently, set to release in October. I wonder if they will publish the rest of her books? I only have the first one, would love to have them all. Thank you for sharing your lovely haul!

I’ve been looking for Klara’s older books. I stopped coloring for 3 years and just came back to colortube and I’m a little disappointed with her latest book. The pages are just soooooooooooooo busy, I am way too overwhelmed to color them. I wish I got Tenderful Enchantments when I had the chance.
I know I wish they would reprint them. They would make a fortune! xxx
