My Three Favourite Art Books

In this video, I flick through my current 3 favourite art books, that I go to for inspiration and ideas. I know art books can be a luxury as they are expensive and take up a lot of space, it is always worth checking out art books at the library and in library sales. However, there are certain books in my collection that I do find helpful and also at times it is nice to sit down with a book and get offline. I hit a bit of a creative bump last week so it was energising to take a look through these books and at the end is a 15 min process video where I have a go at an exercise from one of these books. Books and magazines have taken over half of my creative space, but I love seeing what people can create and finding out their 'why'. I have many, many issues of the magazine called Hi-Fructose which is filled with the most amazing contemporary art.

I love books !!!! It was a good reminder when I'm feeling a little uninspired or need to change up my practice again go to books I don't always have to look online
