The game show was called "through the keyhole", there was a reboot a few years ago, pretty sure it'll be on RUclips somewhere. They look round celebrities houses and you guess who's house it is... Must have been scraping the barrel on this episode 😂😂
Couldn’t they afford Terry Waite?😂
Definitely😂
@@user-to4is7zv3d NO!! 😱🤣
Yeah their was a reboot original poster hosted by Keith lemon, Leigh Francis. Who would live in a house like this
@@tommysherman7155and the night it’s first episode aired. The original presenter died!
5:25 The last thing he remembers was agreeing to spoons for 'just one' pint.
Lets face it, for most brits any variation of 'one' drink usually means someone from your group is ending up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning, another country or sometimes both... and that's is on a work night!
School night
A few years ago, my now wife and I went out for dinner with one of my friends and his new American girlfriend, she drank Diet Coke, we three shared a bottle of wine with the meal and she stormed out calling us alcoholics. Americans are weird.
@@claverhouse1The weirdo… that’s starters.
3:20 'Pantry' - lovely! I haven't heard anyone in the UK mention a pantry or larder for thirty years!
Personally I’ve been to the crooked house pub and it messed with my mind cause i went in sober and got used to the tilt of the floor. Came out drunk and couldn’t stand straight 😂
Crooked house used to be my local but I moved to Kidderminster, a ball used to roll upwards on the bar!
Sad news about the Crooked House, it burnt down and someone came and demolished it! The police are investigating as apparently the road to the pub was blocked so fire crews couldn’t get there and the local council didn’t give permission for demolition - the local community there is furious and there’s a petition to get it rebuilt brick by brick - they think it was burnt down as an act of arson and demolished so the land could be sold for development
4:58 I love how as a Brit I just saw this for the first time and was like “ok looks normal”
@@FatChickAteMySausageplease tell me if you find out. I need this.
7:25 , i can confirm that , that was Scottish you were reading 😂
But the Shankill is in Northern Ireland unless there from Scotland but living here now
Double decker buses typical can be tipped to around 45 degrees before they will fall over. They are exceptionally bottom heavy.
On a very windey hill we used to all run to the left then the right on the top deck of the school bus. Never got it to tip but it was fun as a teen, probably would have regretted it if it had tipped 😂
Big block 2 million mile engine coupled with a CVT gearbox and a heavy steel ladder chassis underneath and some fibreglass up top, low bridges are the bigger issue.
I drive buses including double deckers. All the weight is in the bottom due to the engine. Double dockers are designed to lean to around 45 degrees before they will topple over. Never put that to the test though 😂
Ooh I should have checked to see if someone else had already said this. My dad worked on the buses and said the same thing.
8:21 That Crooked House pub is near me, it just burnt down and now the owners are under investigation for arson and insurance fraud 🤣🤣
I'm now quite curious about the through the keyhole episode, what clues did they have in their house that would give the audience at home the idea that it belonged to someone who had been held hostage? Ropes? Gags? A therapy book on how to deal with hostage trauma?!! 😂😂😂
Basically that is what they were "famous" for - otherwise they were an ordinary couple
@@johncrwarner I know but usually there's clues!! How would the audience know it belonged to someone who was a hostage, especially if that's all they were known for? I'm gonna have to find this episode 🤣🤣
A rusty old radiator with a sawn off pair of handcuffs hanging off it......a bowl of water for water boarding.....a cheap tripod and Russian camera from circa 1986.......you know..... the usual 💁♂
@@GTiR23 that's what I was thinking!! 🤣🤣🤣
The crooked house is somewhere i visited a lot as a kid with family. It’s sadly been burnt down and destroyed Recently. Most of the locals are furious.
8:25 the Crooked house pub, i have been there many times. They keep a cup of marbles on the bar, because people always ask to see the bar trick. You think the marble will roll one way ((what looks to be downhill) but it actually rolls the other way (uphill)
through the keyhole tv show is guessing what celebrity lives in the house after getting a tour of the place with clues
The Crooked House is a great place to visit, unless you have balance issues-everything inside is, well, crooked too.
Double decker buses are weighted as such that they can reach about a 45 degree angle before falling over. Source: my late autistic father who worked for bus companies most of his working life.
Double decker busses have an incredibly low center of gravity. You can tip them all the way to 40deg before they will fall. Look up "Bus tilt test"
The. Crooked house pub is where me and my husband had our wedding reception! A marble goes up hill in that pub it's amazing
I’ve been in that pub it’s brilliant they have an optical illusion when you put a coin on the wall cladding they way they have built it looks like it’s rolling up hill.
The Crooked House is amazing, but last time I went there, I got a concussion when I tried to leave xD
Look up," you can't park there mate"😂
I live a couple of miles from the crooked house, fucks your head up after a few pints 😂
Yet another quality video. So funny. Never fails to literally make me laugh out loud.
Re Double Decker buses, there is a test for London buses, on a tilt table to see they can be on a slope of 28 degrees, test was done with sand bags to weight the top deck as though passengers on board.
I've been in The Crooked House. It's close the where I live. If you place a marble on the bar, it appears to roll uphill!
That cheered me up.
if you ever get to the UK you should visit the crooked house in the midlands, the house leans one way & the inside leans the other, it is pretty wicked...
They were all really good, thanks as needed the laugh as this morining at work has been really stressful. Also RIP Biff.
Hilarious! Thanks for making me laugh today. 🤣🤣💖💖
I drive double deckers, they turn very well as they aren't top-heavy at all.
The first one: the show "Through The Keyhole" (looking at the things inside a house and guessing which celebrity lives there) very quickly got desperate in using very tenuous un-famous "celebrities" because properly famous people didn't want to have their homes and contents being visible.
The Crooked House pub used to be my local when I lived in the Black Country.
Crossing the road is a thing no matter where you go. There has been times over in the US or on continental Europe where I've automatically looked the wrong way and presumed the road is empty of oncoming traffic. Then get some radge blasting their horn because you stepped out on them.
There's a race circuit near me where that sometimes host caravan racing. It's mental to see.
Walkden is a mile
from me!
It's actually really difficult to flip a double decker.
I've never been to York!
Been getting lots of your older videos pop up recently so I'm watching this 9 months after it was posted and sadly that crooked house pub was knocked down not long ago. Apparently it was unsafe but it was all over the news in the Midlands and the locals were gutted as it was such an old pub.
The Crooked House pub is by me in the black country. If you put a marble at the bottom of the bar, it rolls upwards
Whenever a new model double decker bus is built, the prototypes have to undergo extensive testing, including being placed on a test rig that graduates leans to the side and the bus wheels are monitored to see at what point the bus starts to lift away from the testbed. I don’t know what the figures are but I believe that it has to reach at least 50 degrees from vertical both sides and also with assorted simulated loads on both decks. They also have test equipment that allows them to conduct the tests while the bus is in motion and on a skid pan. The figures that are produced are then used as a failure level and the standards are set so that they have a buffer between the standards and the failure level. I believe that there is a film of this type of test being performed to failure which used to be shown to new drivers in certain areas to give them more confidence.
The police Facebook post is awesome. The weirdos would be a lot las likely to flash if they knew the whole world would get a detailed list of why they were single.
You've probably been told this already, but I can't read through loads of comments to see 😂 but the Crooked Pub right at the end was burned down recently, and I believe two men were charged with arson. It was burnt one day, then ripped totally down the next …
Through The Keyhole had a new comedy host Keith Lemon at the turn of the century (aka Leigh Francis). Bo Selectah and Shooting Stars should also be looked into if you wanna see some weird comedy.
U want a sport to watch, try australian super truck series. They have ramps on the track, and they go round corners on 3 wheels.
The crooked house is a great pub (or was at least I haven’t been in years) not far from my old home town of willenhall in the Black Country (red, white and black flag in the window) Went there a few times as a child and had my earliest memories with my grandparents there. Very cool house and brought a smile too see you spread these quirky places that we call home. Keep up your work 👍🏼
The game show in the first clip is called Through the Keyhole and the aim of the game is the contestants have to guess which famous person's house it is. The description is why said person is famous. 😂
I believe the Crooked House was a mine building or similar that suffered subsidence. The ground was stabilised and the brewery renovated the building to accentuate its quirkiness.
it wasn’t a mine building, it was a farm house. The owner mined the land below his house, which caused the sinking
5:25 Reminds me of a buck's night that didn't end well. We partied and somewhere during that party of pub hoping, the groom ended up on a Train. The day after recovery day, we arrived at the Church, we realised something was a miss. What we didn't realise is that the Groom had called his wife to be from Perth, and was not going to make the Wedding in Melbourne. It takes at least three days after you have a ticket to get back.
For my wedding I had to agree to minimum have my bucks night a week or two before the wedding, she heard the stories of what we were like lmao.
JT: They're out there racing buses?!?!
Me: Yeh, We'll race just about anything. Even buggies(Prams or pushchairs). When i was a kid we used to race rocks, go on top of a hill. get a rounded rock and roll them down the hill.
Remember seeing London transport bus drivers in the seventies being taught how to drive the old double deckers on a skid pan. I believe they have, or at least had a very low C of G. Maybe it's on RUclips and you can see how far they tilt?
That was mental
That pub at the end, The Crooked House has now unfortunately burned down, suspected arson....😡😪💜
You think double deckers racing is mad, you should have a look at them on the skid pan!
Also, if it has an engine, we will race it.
The Crooked House used to be my local pub.
The one before last, the pub, it’s called the crooked house in Lower Gornal in the west midlands, quite local to me😁me and my partner love your videos JT, was so excited to see somewhere near me feature on one of your videos!!
Apparently, in the UK double decker buses must "be capable of leaning, fully laden on top, at an angle of 28 degrees without toppling over before they are allowed on the road."
that pub is by me in a small town called dudley its a really weird pub coins roll up hills there
Someone who painted Look Left and Look Right on the road in the clip at 3:51, definitely doesn’t know their Left from Right. 😂
2:11 Did you get that? I know you're very young so i'm not sure.
The image is from Back to the Future when Marty plays Johnny B Goode, he says, you're not ready for it yet but your kids will love it.
Double Decker buses have to be able to tilt to 28° FULLY LADEN without falling over to be allowed on the road in the UK. There's little likelyhood the buses in that race would fall over with only a driver on board. I don't know, because I am not aware of the rules, regulations and, or neccessary modifications that were required for DD bus racing (this WAS the 1980s after all) but I'd hazard a guess that most if not all of the seats etc upstairs were removed to futher aid stability at speed. Makes sense right?
Keep up the brit memes!
isn't that the house from shaun of the dead but like 30-40 years ago? that conservatory lasted for sure 😂
I promise, the last time I went to York I was fully clothed
Ive been in that pub! It’s proper weird 😂
06:44 I may be mistaken but the flasher article looks like made-up articles that appear in Private Eye magazine for comedy.
I used to drive Double Decker's and I still don't know how they don't fall over! especially in high winds had a few scares!!
Sweet Caroline is a kareoke staple...at least twice a night..
I know of someone whos cat went missing for months then someone found it and it was in a bad way so they took it to vets paid thousands to get the cat medical help but it did die so they got it cremated, then few weeks later the real cat turned up so they paid thousands for a cat that was identical to there own but wasnt theres lol😂😂
That was a great video JT Funny the one that you couldn't say the words that is how we actually talk ✌️ From Scotland
They weren’t too heavy as the top was fibre glass back in the day
Walkden is only round corner from myself. Not quite how it's pronounced but for the purpose of the joke I'll let it slide! 😂👍👌
been to the crooked house loads of times. you definatley do feel drunk without drinking alcohol. a marble also has the illusion of going upwards. It was somebodies house that should not have been built. it is surrounded by a quarry.
the owner of the farm house was actually the person that dug the mines below his house
@@beckricketts I never knew that. I went off what my grandad told me
Through the keyhole shows us around the house of a celebrity and people have to guess whose house it is based on things around the house. This is crazy because that is a weird claim to fame 😂
I'm wondering what sort of clues they'd have hung up or lying around 🤣
The through the keyhole game show was out so many years ago this is what they were allowed to write in them days tbh very old show .
I have been to the crooked house pub.
With that description, how many men were under suspicion of being that flasher 😂
3 in ten British men at LEAST
I've never flashed before in my life!
Yeah it was called Through the key hole game show, the 1st one was, it's a good show. Maybe react to it on here JT. 👌
1:50 seeing where i live took me by suprise lmao
It's actually possible to handbrake a double decker bus.
Shankill is in Belfast Northern Ireland
The crooked house is crazier inside.
JT might be the ONLY american i like lol
Damn, someone mowing their lawn 😅
Crooked house pub burned down recently 😕
you did great reading all those slang words on the last one but did you understand them?
haha, i live in Walkden!
5:27 Frank Gallagher? He ended up in Canada from America
Hi, The arrows are pointing the wrong way on the look lert and look right road marking.
Very good! Keep going JT! 🖐🏻
Ps.👊🏻 for not using foul language😅
Here's before No Context Brits watches your video....
The last one was good.
Unfortunately the Crooked House has now been destroyed by fire 🔥 😢
Be careful saying biff, in parts of the UK it's slang for vagina. 😂
Double Decker Derby.
Thats Blackpool tower not the Eiffel tower.
Reverse psychology? Flasher publicly humiliated never flashes again!
I don't think you said low-key enough mate
Bro, you should watch Neymar Highlights, he is one of the bests skillers in footbaal
Hi king JT❤
it didn't stand up in court???
"Look Left" is correct for the UK cause they be coming from the left, but ... um....
Please react to the movie .... this is england
