Ouuu I gotta say that Farer moonphase is doing it for me! It looks particularly amazing under the macro! :O Thank you so much for this video! Just fantastic as always!
Bought my first Farer a few weeks ago and waiting for it to be shipped to Central Europe (should have arrived yesterday). Pretty excited. Pink dial with pink strap will be righteous af.
I had never heard of Jack Mason until now - the watches they offer are stunning - definitely eyeing the "Moto Racing Chronograph". Thanks for the vid and cool collab!
You have to decide ugly not matching date window colour or colour blended with dial. I have Elvington 2 with matching date windows to dial and I have no issues with reading.
The bronze crown cap is what holding me to buy a Farer. I just don’t get it, why….if ever one like patina, they can go for a bronze watch. Making a stainless steel watch with bronze crown just like adding some maintenance overhead and for one who don’t want patina, which is why I would not opt for bronze watch, this design to mix bronze in a stainless steel watch make no sense
Fantastic macros Max! So nice to finally seeing this dial close up. I wonder if they are giving an homage to Nick Drake and his incredible Pink Moon album? Either way, I love it.
Farer is def one of those companies where I ask myself "When does a company graduate from the micro brand category?" They are constantly bringing it. I think in terms of perception (vs. product moved, employees etc.) among collectors at least they've moved into another category.
Cool collab with Jack Mason. Some smart watch choices. I enjoy my Farer Bernina Chronograph Sport. If you want a watch with some cool interesting color combinations, Farer definitely is one to look at. And, I've found the quality of the watches to be white good, too. Look forward to getting a chance to meet and say hi at SF Wind-Up this weekend. I've DL'ed the app. But, because I often post multiple photos when I post, the app still can't seem to do more than one, so I am still going through your website to post and browse content.
I've been eyeing the Isotope GMT recently and a bit surprised that almost no1 reviewed them or has content on them other than the prototype collection. Would love to see your take on them!
Great review as always Max. Like the Farer, not so much the price. Entering legit mainstream territory but since it is a niche brand that doen't aim there and procuces vastly less it is ok for them
My Farer Halley just came in. Exceeds all expectations. My only criticism in your choices for 3 watches, would be that the case shapes of the 2 mechanical watches are too similar.
I’m trying out the app at the moment. Great job to get over the line. - I also had a look at the Farer moon phase, but found them too expensive for that level.
Farer is amazing, however most of it are gone. The watch here is still prototype, final version have blued screws in casback and slightly better finish.
FYI élaboré is a French word which should be pronounced accordingly. The accent aigu (') turns the e into an ay as in day or eh if you were Canadian like me😊.
@@FarerUniversal What is the best way to reach out privately about an order I placed for a Stanhope II (because of great reviews on this channel BTW). I would rather make it an order for the Burbidge. The watch is commemorating the arrival of our 1st son and I'm a massive astronomy+horology lover.
Just joined watchcrunch (the app) and quite disappointed to see that Orient Star is not represented as a stand-alone brand as putting it together with Orient, does not do justice to both the brand and the watch!
If i had 3k to spend. I would personally go for 1 quality made watch instead of 3 generic seleta / eta watches. The level of finishing and quality is not comparable in my opinion.
I love the Farer. But Jack Mason.... It's not so amazing how they make it for 999USD. Zelos for example just released the watch with the same movement and specs for 529USD, If you want it with meteorite dial it's 629USD
Farer is producing quite interesting and good looking watches, but they asking much too much for them. Micro brand, Sellita movement and colourful dial is not enough to ask as much as they do. US$ 1700 is a Longines, Maurice Lacroix for example or a lot of good vintage watches territory.
Pricing is a funny thing, because the smallest of changes can increase production costs dramatically. For example, with these Moonphase models, the movement costs nearly twice as much as the standard time only version from Sellita. Similarly, adding the grain twist texture to the side increases the cost of the case by 65%.
I own 3 Farer, great design but mediocre movements and very premium prices. Not sure I would add another one any time soon, quality price seems quite frankly pretty unbalanced
First one can be dressed up or down imo. G-Shock is pure utilitarian starting from the name, so it is not even like they are pretending to be suitable for that.
@@chrislim7976 Techniques d'Avant Garde is a mafious fund that just bought Heure. Buying a watch brand doesn't make you a watch brand, it makes you a watch brand owner.
@@simonrano8072 Yes. But I don't think anyone buying a quartz Tag at a department store or factory mall cares or has a clue what you're talking about. I stopped caring long ago about these things. 🍺

Farer nailed it on all of their new moonphase models. They are probably one of the best moonphases you can currently get across any price point.
Ouuu I gotta say that Farer moonphase is doing it for me! It looks particularly amazing under the macro! :O Thank you so much for this video! Just fantastic as always!
Thanks Britt! You'd wear the hell outta that Farer 👌
Thank you so much for reviewing the Burbidge, Max! We're glad that you liked it. 😃
Beautiful work as always guys 👌
I just took delivery of the Halley. Fantastic watch!
@@SonikDethmonkey Glad you like it!
That Faded watch has been the one I want and need in my collection. I love it.
Congratulations on both the app and the collaboration! Very attractive, well thought out design and I'm sure it will sell well.
Thanks Ray!

Another awesome video, Max. Amazing results with the JM collab! 🤙
Thanks for this vid! Farer did a great job, as usual.
Congrats on the collaboration!!! 🎉🎉
Good taste as usual Max. The Stratotimer seems a very interesting proposal in its segment. Bright colors, nice details, 70s vibes and perfect size.
That moon phase Farer is simply gorgeous.
I'll be at thw SF Windup watch fair this weekend as well! Hope to see you there
My Farer gets a LOT of wrist time over Omega and IWC. Nice design, colours and great wearability
They are too legit 👍
Definitely agree that date complications should always be at the 6 for symmetry!
This is a hell of a 3 watch collection, well done
Just find the Farer brand from this video. And I’m jow open now. Very interesting and crafty
Absolutely thrilled for the collab! We're proud to be Crunchers ⭐
Ya dun good there eh
Made it happen 🤝
The Farer looks lovely, and has decent specs too. As always, another great video Max.
Thanks dude
@@WatchCrunchOfficial No worries, and I have just downloaded the app - good work young man!
Whoa whoa whoa ... when you announcing that Strato brutha ... CMOOON !!!
Awesome as always Max 🔥

Superb, as always with Capwell.
The glossy midnight blue moonphase version is my favorite
My only complaint with Farer is - I wish the date window was larger and easier to read. I’m a big fan of Farer, especially their GMTs.
You have to decide ugly not matching date window colour or colour blended with dial. I have Elvington 2 with matching date windows to dial and I have no issues with reading.
Correct, in the classic chrono is so small it makes no sense, other than spoiling the design

Loving that Farer!
Great choices Max. Farer keep knocking out of the park.

This really is quality content, keep it up!
Thank you!
Was this a subtle way of being an add for the Jack Mason watch? Either way I loved all of these watches
I love Farer. Their watches are playful, superbly crafted, and very affordable. What do you think of their new 36mm options?
Great selections
This watch is a nice one from Farer but I’m just so mad I missed out on the Bernina. God I wish I got it on the blue strap when I had the chance.
Cool 3-watch collection...modestly priced, but still unique!
I'm obsess by Farer since 10 month and I'm waiting for their aquamatic. I've never wainted that long for a watch haha
Not long at all until we unveil two new AquaMatic designs!
@@FarerUniversal I know ! Tomorrow 😁 but freshwater for me for sure 😍
The moon phase watch is beautiful and kindly introduce more about this watch brand.
Brilliant video. Incredible 3 watches. All better than a Tag in my opinion.
Thanks Barry!
The jack mason is pretty cool too
Will also be at Windup!
Farer brings incredible value in terms of fit and finish. Wearability is superior too.
Definitely 💯

Hey, is your Watch Crunch edition Jack mason available internationally?
Nah man...nah!! Now I gotta buy that Farer 😭😭
Downloaded the app 2 days ago, it's an amazing project, I really wanted a place to discover new watches and talk about them :))

Can you please review a Mido watch? Pretty affordable watch that has heritage and making a lot of noise lately 🙏🤞
Guess you couldn't persuade the date to the 6 o' clock position. Congrats on the colab!
Hope to make it into the San Francisco WC gathering and plunk down a deposit for the Jack Mason collab. Fingers crossed!
The GMT is nice. I thought it was the Baltic at first
Farer comin at us with another banger, my wallet can't handle it
😂
Sorry to provide such temptation! 😅
Well, I would have loved to see a burgundy dial in there!!
WC dude has awesome taste. This is outstanding.
😂🙏
farer may be the only watch company that I want to buy every model and color of

That Farer is gorgeous! Shame it’s sold out (no surprise though)
Oooh that moon! Funny you mentioned the whole lunatic thing, my mom worked on a psych ward for years and actually takes note of full moons. 🌕
Yep, the myth is real
That farer looks like a zaku. Or I guess a Gouf with that color
Ah, love that Farer. Not my style of case but the dial is incredible.

When does the pre-order for the Jack Mason x WatchCrunch Strat-O-Timer begin?!
Probably within a month

" little bit O' Leary" 😂 Max u got jokes, but it's not THAT red, He wears much brighter red straps I think.
There is no place on the app to book the jack mason watch ? How is it done . Thanks
Will be launching in a month
a little bit o leary. we need more LSD watches for sure. a paper trip dial maybe? yes, please!😂
😂
Cool!

I love Farer's use of color. So unique compared to what every other watch brand is doing.
Mmm... I think I'd still take my TAG Heuer's. Especially my Carrera Panda 60th anniversary that I've recently taken delivery of. 🙏🏼👍🏼
The Farer moonphase is pretty but that price is a bit too high for what it is.
The Farer is absolutely gorgeous, but that color way (the best one) has been sold out for a while. Hopefully they bring it back...
We've got limited quantities of each model coming soon! No fixed date yet though.
Go Farer! All over the social platforms. I’m looking forward to my Halley, hopefully your going to sent it to me on Thursday 😁

G Shock keeps killing it. Got the Mario edition to celebrate my 40th birthday since both Mario and G Shock are also 40. 😆

I don´t want to be mean but the last watch looks extremely generic. I like the other two though.
looks great but 1500k meh
I like these vids but the concept of going out and buying a collection is dumb AF. Goes against everything the game is about.

My understanding of a "3 watch collection" is that it implies it is all one needs. Maybe that's not what he means.
Since when TAG is a watch brand ? Heure used to be, TAG never was and ruined the latter.
