I think this was his launching of the General Election Campaign. I have never seen Obama so excited and energized. He was smiling and everything. I'm fired up and ready to go all over again ! Thank you , Barack Obama !

It was "The Rising" tonight. What a great song. Also I was at the huge rally last Sunday in Portland, where he walked out to Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours", it was awesome ;)

I was wondering the same and the only thing that I could come up with is that seeing this brilliant, confident, outspoken man, who has worked hard for everything he achieved in life must remind some people of what they are not and have not. And instead of being inspired and wanting change for themselves and their fellows, they feel bad about themselves and..about him, because he reminds them of what they want to ignore. Pandering usually works better. But hey, I am still optimistic!!
People who are not sure about Obama criticize that he doesn't outline his policy issues.. good to hear him speak about what he means by talking about CHANGE.. Obama is not about false hope, he is about empowering people, he is asking people to get involved and holding him accountable. Talking about change..wow!!
Obama's own excitement is palpable at the end of this speech. He is beginning to let himself taste the possibility of a presidency. He is beginning to see what a tremendous platform that would give him to change the direction of this country. He inspires, he is a leader and he will make it happen.

I agree! Obama was very generous in his speech about Clinton, I can only hope that she and her supporters will come to support him. I sincerely cannot see a Democrat voting for McCain instead of Obama. The party will be united, there is too much at risk.
Obama- I support you, but please allow people to post negative comments on here. It is very important to let everyone's voice be heard. If your candicacy is all about honesty and decency, that is the decent thing to do.

Barack, I´ve donated to your campaign and fully support you, but you´ve got to start talking about plans and details and a bit less about hope and defining moments, etc. For example, start talking about the "peace dividend" that will occur as a result of spending the dollars at home instead of in Iraq. With that said, you´ve still got my vote.
His plans are all pretty well laid out on his website, and he talks about the specifics more often than he used to, but stump speeches are never about the details - stump speeches are to fire up your base and keep people motivated.

How do we stop terrorist and high gas prices? Elect Obam so he can talk to those other countries who we buy oil & gas from and they would gladly help and lower the cost for our statesman.
