Credit to Barry where its due. He doesn't try hide shoddy work.its quality! Unfortunately something that's getting rarer in this country. Man's got pride in his work. HIGH FIIIIIVE,YESHAMESH
This 86 is f*cking badass. So glad I've found this channel, I've been binging the Japan in a van videos lately and I adore this channel. Hats off to you lads.
The myth the man the legend! You need to get some Carme asada on that grill skirt steak if I’m not mistaken. Marinate with Budweiser red can beer, salt, soy sauce . Throw on the grill and let it charbroil for a bit and done
Thats so funny, I started watching the video and was thinking the quality looks better and then you started talking about the new lense 😂. Just thought I'd let you know that even to the untrained eye it looks better already! Good choice 👌
I'm a fan of the fish eye because it matched the tone of the shed and the craic like skate parts where that's the only camera lens they use so all the messing about and weird convos in a skate vid was fish eye too. Very used to that charming and grounded style. The fish eye is humble and grounded which matches how you lads are. I think the new lens is real nice and I understand the change. Maybe having two lens' for different applications. Like if it's random tangents it could be fisheye
It was a real pain switching lenses, and the fisheye left out a lot of detail on situations where I’d be scrambling for a better shot, I do love the look in certain situations but after doing the japan series, and enjoying the 35mm for the whole adventure, I didn’t want to go back, I feel the 16-35 is the best compromise, as I can zoom in for situations and make the most of the better camera, and also keep things wide when it’s needed, I know what you mean though!
I grew so used to the patina, painting it would take something away from it, like oh look it's an restored hachi, but all the content and fun i had watching this would never be forgotten
After going down the Juicebox rabbit hole (and watching Japan in a Van for the millionth time) for the past few weeks, glad to see some new content and progress on the 86! Can't wait to see the finished product and some celebratory rings😎
its the same as with project binky, I am now invested and love the really relatable misery going on.. started watching project binky like what feels like 10 years ago. same with this. Gotta love watching misery from the isles. I went to look and its been 9 years. I wasnt too far away from reality.
Seeing how Barry does things makes me think I could actually fix the arches on some of my cars. Maybe not to his level of course, but still. Your climate seems to be a lot like we have here on west coast Sweden. Rust, rust, rust.
Ive been following this build for so long ive gone through 3 styles of drifting (missile, team tandems and togue). Lost motivation, regained it. relost it, regained it again. All just to see 1 singular shopping trolley arch. worth it Edit: As a skater myself the fisheye is one of the main reasons ive stayed. But yeah editing fisheye footy is headache inducing forsure
Always good to see You, Barry and the shed! I was wondering... Percentage wise, how far was that stage and how far is it now? where as 100% would be painted and assembled
Once barry is done, we need a "fuckoff" compilation 😂
Yes plz!
Barry is a true artist 🎨
I think i speak for everyone here, when i say man ; we love barry . he's a absolute legend !
He’s the fucking man
Never has more content been made with less progress.
You haven't seen project blinky.
@@Dm3c I have, and yet still have to agree

Yeah it’s a shame it’s a dying trade
The dedication of Barry in his art of metalworking is mesmerizing, happy days lads!
Could watch him work all day.
Same!
"salvage lad" thats a polite term..get the shell galvanised!
Glad to see you back boys, it’s really starting to get there now. SHOUTOUT to Barry , he’s a fuckin magician
Just what I needed on a Monday afternoon

BARRY!!!
21:20 or so, proper like being in the barbers and being shown the trim in the double mirrors. "yeh nice yeh grand job yeh sound" hahaha
Even if the back of your head looks like you were in a grease fire
"Ehhh yep grand cheers yeh no yeh cheers thanks yeh"
Here from the start, here to the end!
Looking sweet 😎

Looking awesome dude! Man Barry sure knows how to use his hands.
I could watch Barry doing metalwork for hours, thrilled with the way those arches came out, trolley hack ftw!
Yeah I’m delighted! Who would have expected that route 😂
Glad to see the 86 near completion, started watching when the episodes were at like 41 in lockdown lol
Great stuff again guys also loving the merch. Barry taking pride of place in our rear window.

Perfect after a hard Monday 🤙🏼❤🔰
We don't rush lad Take your time as you want we enjoy it slow
Trying to take mental notes on what Barry is doing because I’m going to need this information when I get started on my fucking one lmfao
Hopefully there’s something to be learned, I left a lot in for others if they need to copy
Love the chat whenever Barry is in the vid. Even drops in a big lez reference with the stinging roger
Hahahaha
I grew so used to the patina, painting it would take something away from it, like oh look it's an restored hachi, but all the content and fun i had watching this would never be forgotten
I’m looking forward to adding my own patina over the next few years, but I hear where you’re coming from ❤️
Love seeing how the 86 slowly gets done.... one day it will be ready to do rings
Not too far away now hopefully 🍻
Incredible craftsmanship.
Barry is my hero.
Serious!!! love to see it!! What a channel!
Well done on the merch drop Neil. I'm sitting on the other side of the earth (South Australia) watching this in my new Juicebox hoodie! Legend ✌️
Ah great to here it arrived! It was a mad few weeks but it’s pretty much all sorted now
Barry is a Saint!
Always a pleasure to watch Barr do his thing also any progress in yas 86 is pretty great.
Awesome a pleasure. Thank you
Been here since the beginning. Can’t wait to see it finished!
I've been watching since the beginning, I miss some of the chaos from the early episodes.
Yayyyy the return ❤
That looks so good! Well done lads!
Always interesting watching a master at work.... and Barry ain't half bad either, lol. Seriously, great work Barry!
Yeah man! I tried to leave as much in as I could, love watching him work and I love the random convos we end up having
SO EXCITING!!
We are all here for it
Mad what Barry gets done on one bifta
Dunno how he does it!

Barry knows his craft that’s for sure
It’s coming together so beautiful!!!
Great to see some progress being made, thrilled to see the final result. Keep up the good work! 👌
Cheers! Loads more to come on this over the coming weeks
every shop needs a barry
Barry knows! top work!!
It's the gay robots from Starwars vs the robots from battle star galactica that the Simpsons says
Quality stuff from Barry as always. The exact type of person you'd want doing bits for your car
Yep! I’m honoured to know him 🍻
Awesome work by Barry.
Dude, looks so good on the ground awesome progress as always
So cool how this 86 has came over the years.
Slowly getting there! Super keen to drive it
It's getting there! Seen a sneak peak on your fb page looking well
Cheers! Videos should jump considerably very soon
Shit looks super dope. Cheers
Absolutely tops!
Barry the man ✌️
Barry is a top bloke long live barry
Awesome to see some progress again! Keep it up 🤙🏻
"salvage guys" that's a nice word for them
Love to c u guys post a new vid.
Comin along, must feel great.
Really does! Honoured to have the right people helping out
i wont leave internet unill i see this car build complete!
arches look damn good

Wild! This will be at a drivable state on the road sometime this year, not sure I’ll ever finish it
@@juiceboxforyou no project is ever "finished"
I so fucking excited she looks tooo goood
It’s getting close!

Yeah it’s a pain when you want different angles on the fly for this stuff, I think the 16mm is the best compromise
How long do ya think Neil could go without buying a set a wheels? 😂😂
I say about a day or so
Owning wheels is cool
Buying wheels is the best thing ever
The itch never sleeps
I’ve lasted a few days, ashamed to show how much is in the collection
@@juiceboxforyou not at all that's a video alone. Going through your toy box of treasures
happy 2022 neil!
Living in the past
Mental watching all the arch work, credit to Barry he is great. I wouldn’t be fit to watch it on my own car tho 😂
Yeah I’ve grown numb to him hacking it at this point ❤️
you might want to get a sacrificial UV filter to protect your lens from welding sparks.
Learned the hard way many years ago, now I just keep back 😅
Always good to see You, Barry and the shed!
I was wondering... Percentage wise, how far was that stage and how far is it now? where as 100% would be painted and assembled
It’s in primer now, so we are aiming for September for a finish
@@juiceboxforyou this is going to be huge once its done! and what a ride it has been! cannot wait!
I like the oem look restoring my hatch like you guys but I have less skill 😂
goad it looks great
Sweat 👌
Been watching this build for years now, I invested more time into your project then mine 😅
Hahaha apologies! It’s hopefully going to be wrapped up the end of the summer
Lol Jamie Shaw aka Carisma trimmed the seats for my clio sport show car and the seats were from a susuki baleno
Loved the carisma insight. Pretty sure the car was shown in dublin at some point way back 😂
Yeah think it was over for the max power show
Barry’s signature has to go somewhere on this piece of art before she’s finally finished
It already is! Somewhere behind the dash 😅 It is in one of the old videos.
Sure is he welded his name into the bulkhead a while back
Waheyyyy indeed ❤
Fuck to imagine this is still over a year ago and we are all still watching
It’s coming along nicely now, should catch up soon
Also too invested to not see it to completion. Mmm... Borger welds, and mandatory Barry f**k offs 😂
el roacho is back :D
I didn't know that about the Carisma / Jamie Shaw porsche. I know he's a absolute monster with interiors though (he's local-ish to where I live)
Yeah he’s an og from back in the day! Used to love the Carisma cars as a teen
I hope you keep Barry's art work on the car.
Ae86 long time no see
The fisheye is good for moments when theres so much going on lol
It is but it’s head wrecking if you want different shots, the 16-35 gives the best of both worlds
first time im viewing a upload sub 30min
Savage 👍
