Did you use a data only SIM? Will that make a difference to your speed? I was trying the cheapest one I could find which was unlimited phone and 39gb data for £10.
So I bought this, (rather expensive) but I thought it would give my iPhone a break when I’m on data. My smart sim speedtest with it is only at 4-6mbps and very intermittent. If I use my iPhone, the same SIM speedtest is at 24mbps. So I don’t recommend this

I don't know, in Italy with an Italian Low Cost operator it works correctly.

Have a look at the devices specifications page and see if your countries 4G band is supported. ALL the info can be found there.

This device disconnects often and it gets EXTREMELY HOT which also contributes to the connectivity issues.
