Love the review, it's kind of difficult to find as detailed and complete reviews as this on RUclips.
Glad it was helpful!
Good review, I just bought one of these for my family and I to use while on a boat in Norfolk a few weeks per year, and also for potential trips abroad like Japan where I can just buy a prepaid SIM at the airport to stick in it. Previously had a Huawei E5332 that worked fine but wanted a 4G one for better speeds when network coverage allows.
Yes this is great for travels especially if you have more devices than just a phone.
Nice 3 warranty on the 4g Lte mobile wi-Fi
Thanks for reviewing this. You answered all my questions, including if it works with Digi :D
Glad I could help!
The fact that you take the time to reply to everyone in the comments is incredible, keep up the good work! I’m thinking of getting this as the internet provider where I live is limited to 10Mbps MAX, my current internet plan is 3Mbps so this device looks enticing.
Thank you for your comment. As for the device be sure to check first that your network is supported such as 4G band. I use this a lot when I travel to areas where my usual network provider has a poor network performance so I can get another prepaid network provider that has better network in that region.
Very good explanation, Very useful. Thanks for your help!

That's quite a handy device. I wish I had a better 4G LTE network here, especially at the bargain price you are paying. It would make my life so much more convenient and cheaper. I'll have to keep this item in mind, in case I ever find a cheaper 4G LTE provider. Thanks for the look. Cheers.
Happily we have some of the fastest internet connections from the world, for instance 1Gb/s Fiber-to-the-building (FTTB) connection cots juts 8.95$ (USD) / month with unlimited traffic. You actually need a very good router to be able to cope with such speeds. I personally have the cheapest 300mb/s optical fiber and it is just 6.70$ (USD) / month.
@@TechTronic9000 Wow ... those prices are great. I have DSL service, and I get about 12 Mbps download, and 0.7 Mbps upload ... and it costs me about $55 USD per month! You are VERY lucky. When I post a video to my RUclips channel, it can take hours and hours to upload. Cheers!
This video made my decision 🇬🇧👍🏻
I'm glad that you have found my video useful.
@@TechTronic9000 are these MIFI good for Gaming???
@@TechTronic9000 my phone hotspot isnt great when im playin my xbox..
I have tp link m7200 with problem to disconnect wifi frequently
Is this better and more stable then smartphone hotspot (tethering)? I am thinking of buying this for use in nature where 4g signal is weak, hoping for more stable connection.
Yes, it's much more better and that is also my usage. Before this i was using tethering from my phone but was kept dropping the connection and was also draining the phone battery much more faster. With this one the connection is much more stable and I can also position it in a place to get better signal.
how is this compared to TP-Link M7450 or similar more expensive wireless/mobile routers ? the M7350 is £70 on amazon uk now . Any other router out there that`s better at this price range ? Thank you
As of daily usage I don't think you are going to experience a large difference between the two of them. It's more important to have a good data provider, as for example the 7.50 should easy get 50mbps download on 4G but usually when I travel I get 5-6mbps so it's no longer important how fast its WIFI is.
Does it support 5gz ?
Can I ask how do you get it to recognise SD card over the network and through usb and also how's charge time and battery life because I'm thinking of upgrading from my iPad 3rd gen as a hotspot hub
You can use the provide app to manage the sd card.
Hi, may i know why my router doesn't have any downstream rate/download rate? I cannot connect to internet, the faq from the website doesnt seem to offer much help :/
Did you unlock the SIM pin and activated it first?
Hi i hope you can read asap, actually i’m using digi prepaid sim card, so if i want to use this i need buy another sim card right ? and should have data on the simcard? Then later i can use it? Like that ya?
Yes, you can use a mobile data plan sim card with this and this will share the connection on WiFi with multiple devices.
TechTronic9000 okayy thanks😊
Hi, can you access the device setting via the app when using a phone with the app installed is on a different network?
No, you can only access the settings with the TPLink app when you are directly connected together WiFi to it.
Multumesc mult.
Salut! Depinde de telefon și rețea. Avantajul modemului este ca îl poți pune într-un loc unde ai semnal mai bun cum ar fi la geam, în podul casei, etc, iar cu telefonul te conectezi la el prin WiFi. Modemul teoretic are o viteza maxima de 50Mbps.
This is very useful. One question, can we insert any sim into this device and use it, as long as it has internet connection? Can we use prepaid sim too?
Yes any SIM with any active data plan will work, prepaid also.
@@TechTronic9000 I see. Also, does the device heats up a lot? Is it just warm or can it go to an extend where it can abnormally overheats?
@@TechTronic9000 I bought a normal sim with 5GB data, minutes, etc. but it doesn't work. It says " Connected but not Internet " and I don't know what to do.
I have a iPhone with a 4G, can it connect to this router and send the internet signal trough WiFi to other computers? I ask this because the computers need to connect to each other also.
It doesn't work that way, you will use you data plan sim directly in the router and it will share it over wifi to the other devices.
@@TechTronic9000 In that case I need a 2nd 4G data plan sim.
One for the iPhone and one for the router?
I have tplink m7530 i already add a sim card with mobile data balance but it says no data connection altough im connected.
Did you find the problem
Have you set the APN?
can it be used to connect to wireless camera for a remote home?
Yes, it can
Very nice and informative video!
How does Skype co-operate with this router? Is the speed fast enough?
Yes it does, works with Skype, Zoom, Team all with video and audio. The biggest limitation is actually the data provider service.
@@TechTronic9000
Thanks!
Is it possible to hide the WiFi ?
if router will switch off due to discharged battery and you connect USB charger, device will turn on automaticly or you have to press power button?
You need to power it on by button again as it also has a function to charge when its off.
Is the 4G only lock good? Cause my place i got 2 bar 4G but if i move a bit it chnage to 3G
It has some options such as preferred 4G, but if there is no signal it will switch to 3G
Is it possible to use a simple sim card with this mobile wifi? I bought a Pay as you go Sim Card, which has a number and comes with minutes and data but I think this Tp-Link device doesn't recognise it.
Yes it works with prepaid SIM but first you need to activate the SIM and that depends on the mobile provider such as calling a number or sending a SMS first to enable it. I usually activate it in my mobile phone first and then insert the sim in the Tp-Link and it will work.
I tried with another sim that my uncle used before and it says the same thing. I don't know what to do.
You also need to check APN settings, install the phone app, connect to the tplink and verify the settings.
Hello. Are you still using the device? How was it? Did you encounter any problems? ie frequent disconnection and slow speed even with good signal or battery issue?
I'm still using mine, no problems. I only encounter charging problems when the device is too hot. The speed is decent but that is mostly related to your mobile provide.
My i know..it consume what data on sim card ?..hotspots or primary data?..
This is a device that creates your own hotspot based on you mobile data from the sim card.
Hello. I use Megafon Sim. Already connected to Tp Link M7350 but showing No Internet Access. Any tips? Or Problems? Tia.
Check settings for APN and PIN and activate the SIM.
Compare this with dlink dwr-932c which one is better? Thank you
I only had issues with previous dlink devices in the past so usually i avoid them.
Dlink wifi keep disconnect. Waste my rm200. Now looking for new modem. Maybe tp link or huawei
*hello.. Hey so... If you wanna plug it in, would it still Work if the battery is taken out? Like if you wanna leave it connected to the power source and don't wanna ruin the battery?*
Sadly it doesn't work without he battery but the good news is that it has thermal protection, if the modem and battery gets warm it just stops charging and keeps the battery at the same level. For instance whine i use mine and it's also charging, it often stops at 70-80% and just runs on usb power.
@@TechTronic9000 OK... Thanks for the reply.. 👌So having it connected to power source won't really affect, overcharge the device?
Yes the modem is pretty smart and will not overheat or overcharge the battery, yet it will keep it fully charged if it's cold enough.
@@TechTronic9000 thanks.. For takin the time to reply
It's too bad it doesn't have an Ethernet port so we could plug it into a regular wireless router that has ports for devices that need a wired connection.
Yes la LAN and WAN port would have been awesome...
Hi from canada!! Can i connect this to my NIKON D810 to make my camera wireless and be able to access it through the phone app???
The NIKON D810 doesn't have WiFi. This is a portable router, it doesn't have other means to connect to non WiFi devices.
@@TechTronic9000 i see! Thank you.
does this work for online games such as league of legends or wow? what you think?
Yes, it will work, but will have a bit more lag than a regular fiber-cable connection.
Does this thing have parental controls you can’t turn off?
No it doesn't
Hello, Is this router suitable for a wifi outdoor camera? thanks
Yes it can work with that.
when connected the device no internet access?
You have internet access from your sim card.
Is it possible to attach a usb modem?
No and there is no need for that, just insert the sim from the modem directly in this one.
Very importend infos are missing and the "fast handyuse" dont permit to get more information.
Hi. Is it the speed of the tplink is same as when using mobile data in your phone?or is it better?because before this i bought a mifi but internet speed is worse than using phone as hotpsot..
Depends on your network, for instance I use the MiFi router with another provider in an area where my regular gsm provider has bad internet connectivity.
Do you have an estimation on how much more signal reception the M7350 has over a smartphone?
I can get just above 1 mbps with a phone where I’m at, would love to know if and how much faster this would be!
It can help a lot as you can place the modem in a place where it has better reception such as a window.
@@TechTronic9000 I can also place a mobile at the window? would it only be faster due to location where placed or also because of hardware?
I cannot connect to the router. I try different device to connect to router but still not working. what should I do?
Have you connected to the router WiFi? Disable also mobile data on the phone.
Why I can connect but no internet although it already have plan
check the apn settings, preferred network type and pin lock
Can use on Unifi Mobile?
probably yes, if they provide 3/4G
Bro mine always auto disconnects I don't know why can you help please
Try to disable the power save option.
hello can we use it as wifi extender ?
No, for a good and cheap extender check out this model ruclips.net/video/GqfPe6p8rNE/видео.html
@@TechTronic9000 Ok so thanks for your feedback
Anybody use this on the 3 network ? I've used an huawei router with an external 4g aerial and the speeds are abysmal . I've also purchased 3 different huawei mifi devices which have been a total waste of money .
This usually works with almost any network, still you should check on the producers website for a compatibility list.
Hello my friend. This product also has 2.4ghz and 5ghz support, I couldn't see it fully, can you help me?
Only 2.4
Does it support 5ghz feature ? Reply please
It supports only supports: IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11n 2.4GHz WiFi
@@TechTronic9000 ok thx 🙏🏾
Wait so does it NEED a SIM card? And was one provided ?
The SIM card is provided by your own mobile data / cell phone operator.
but why can't you put the sim in your mobile?
Because this device is intended for another type of usage such as using a laptop / tablet without using the phone in tether mode. You can also use it in a remote area as router with internet access when you have several devices such as PC / WiFi printer, etc. You can also use it while trekking as it will give you WiFi and internet to you phones thus saving phone battery. You can also use it in car to have a WiFi hot spot for your navigation system and for your travelers. These are just a few of the examples.
Where to buy it?
You can get it from here: amzn.to/2E49Lvi
Can you use iPhone for this ?
Yes, but check first if the TP Link app is available for the iPhone.
Can this router be used in Bangladesh?
Probably yes if you have 3/4G-LTE band.
So u buy this and get 1.73 Mbps speed only ? Wow amazing I can use this for gaming
Peak speed is ~ 50Mbps (4G LTE) but it's highly dependable on your data plan, provider and signal strength. This is not for fast downloads but it's for providing a WiFi hotspot for multiple devices and to use on the go, for instance WiFi in your car for your phones, tablets and navigation system, or use it while trekking or on long bike trips, it saves the phones battery as you don't need to enable hot spot. It has plenty of other usages as well such as emergency back-up internet connection even when your power is out or your fast connection cut.
@@TechTronic9000 thank you for the reply appreciate it .. can u recommend me a home wifi router budget for gaming especially low ping thank you
TPLink AX10, it's a very fast WiFi 6 AX band routeor with triple core CPU, it's also usually sold cheap. It's actually probably the cheapest AX router and it's very fast, it has gigabit on WAN/LAN and 1.2 gigabit on WiFi. This is the model amzn.to/3lwZGrh
Does the sim have to be broadband or normal phone sim
did you compare its signal to your smartphone?
Depends on area and network, for instance i use it in place where the signal is very poor and on the mobile phone it's very unstable, with this one the connection is rather stable and can work even for 48+ hours with no interruption. Bonus it will work several hours on the battery so you can use it when power goes down or when you travel.
Mine doesn't work, keeps saying "connecting"
Have you selected the tp-link wifi? Also try to turn off mobile date on the phone
Does this work for gaming
Depends on your network provider and you will have bigger lag.
Bro this Any Sim Use ?
Almost any kind of SIM works, it needs a mobile data plan and a network compatible with the device.
@@TechTronic9000 Thank you Bro i'm From india Now I'm Malaysia so This Device Running India ? ? ? ?
As long as the internet provider has 3/4G with the supported bands of this modem then it will work
Ok bro
It’s using from data or hotspot? Because I’m very confused ,To be honest I using simcard umobile So my umobile have a unlimited data and 10GB hotspot. If I buy this item ,The hotspot data not included right? This item just using your unlimited data right or what? Sorry I don’t know how to explain ,I just say what I know only🤣
To explain this better is like having 2 devices in one, a 3/4G modem that needs a SIM car with a data plan and also combined with a WiFi router.
JEMI i think it will using ur hotspot data...if u want to use unlimited data..u should find modded modem router
Can you check the search history in it or not
What do you mean by search history? It's just a modem, doesn't save your info, it just provide connectivity. History is stored by the browsing device and by the ISP. The model will just keep track of the traffic so you will know how much you will have to pay.
can this set up a static ip address?
On the WAN side? That depends on your network provider, you might be better with using a dynamic dns service.
Buy 150MB hotspot and get 25MB! LOL
It's up to the data plan provider, can't make it faster if their service is cr*ap :)
@@TechTronic9000 ...to check that, check speed first on your mobilephone and next on Hotspot. You i'll see the diference!
