Heads Up! In this video I am testing V4 of the M7350 which come with wifi at 2.4Ghz @ 150Mbps and 5Ghz @ 433Mbps, whereas the M7350 V5 currently on sale only comes with a single 2.4Ghz band @ 300Mbps. This is understandably caused me and some others a bit of confusion, especially as TP-Link appear to have removed this feature on the newer version, you can verify this yourself by downloading the spec sheets from TP-Links website. May not be a big deal to you, but if it is important then this is something to look out for! AM

My downloading using this same device as yours, gives me 60 mbps download and that's outside my home when I'm out in the middle of nowhere. It's an ace product.

Quite a few dislikes for what seems to me to be like a very to-the-point and well-argument-supported review! Regardless of that, we're 3 years later and I've decided to buy this one for myself as well due to the give information! Thank you for this video.

Interesting review. The disadvantage of using an old mobile phone as a wifi access point is that it's a hotspot. When you lose the connection with the hotspot it will stay connected to the internet from your phone and not re-connect to the hotspot. This is what I experienced last year on holiday with our camper.

Does anyone know if it has a dedicated "WPA2-PSK AES" only mode or only a "WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK AES" joint security mode?

I think that SD card slot would be really handy, but only if they'd made it a standard size SD, I just bought one of these to use on the boat while in the Norfolk Broads, and being able to share photos from our camera's SD card to various devices to be able to then easily post one or two photos while away from our home PC's would have been a cool feature.
