- I really wanted to do something with "Prologue" - it's such a cool track, but such a short loop, so made a little mini medley and worked in "Bloody Tears" too.

HOLY SHIT THANK YOU. I've always wished there were more covers of the Prologue track, it's so underrated as far as SOTN songs go. But admittedly, it is pretty short, so I can see why most people don't want to cover it.
probably has something to do with the placeholder name "Prologue" and the fact that when the song plays, "Bloodlines" comes across the screen. I know I personally always thought this song was titled Bloodlines, but no. It's Prologue.
Fucking prologue.
The prologue theme! I always called this "Richter, 1792". Pairing this with Bloody Tears is an epic choice, and Bloody Tears seems to include over motifs from other Castlevania renditions. My only nitpick is this not including the motif from Rondo of Blood, added before the main melody loops; that's just me. Amazing stuff!

Side note, Bloody Tears IS in SotN, it is just in an unfinished are I believe only included in the Sega Saturn version.
Saturn SotN has actually 2 versions of Bloody Tears (pretty much identical tho). One is used for the Skeleton General Boss in the Garden and as the entrance theme of Richter (iirc). The other one is unused.

If only we heard something even remotely close to epic as this in the Netflix show during the battle in Dracula's castle. I somehow found the version in the show a bit underwhelming.
