Love video! Wanted to mention that next patch the coral riptide set will give up to 740 weapon/spell damage based on your missing stam making it the highest dmg set, also the new mythic sea serpents coil gives 430 weapon and spell damage which isn’t as much as thrassians but definitely more viable to actually use. Also you could back bar masters destro staff instead of maelstrom for another 500 weapon and spell dmg. Also it may be easier to go with clever alchemist over moon hunter, you won’t have to worry about proccing poisons and the uptimes aren’t that far off. Another set worth mentioning that I haven’t tested would be pelinals wrath, they reworked this set to work similarly to thrassians check it out. Fun video man. Ggs
That's good to know! I was a bit overwhelmed with all the sets I was trying out in combinations that I completely missed the Coral Riptide set! I did look at clever alchemist but I didn't want to include it because of the downtime. If you don't have the 'decrease potion' enchants, you only have about 50% uptime, whereas moonhunter is at 80% uptime with more spell damage overall (assuming you can get the poisons to proc). Great ideas though, I'll keep that in mind for future builds!
My 11k Spell Dmg PvP Magplar: 2 Magma Incarnate, 5 Clever Alchemist Front Bar DW Maces(1 Nirn and 1 Sharp) 5 Olorime Back Bar(Defending Resto Staff)w/Poison, 1 Trainee, and 1 Markyn Ring of Majesty. Breton Race for Sustain, Jewels of Misrule Food, All Infused Spell Dmg Glyphs, Apprentice Spell Dmg Mundus, and Stage 3 Vampire. That was last patch.. Now I just rock 2 Balorgh, 5 Clever, 5 Deadly, 1 Trainee, 1 Markyn which only has 8k Spell dmg but 25k or so Penetration but hits 16k Dawnybreakers and hit a 26k Single tic of Radiant Oppresion on a player.
Interesting setup, one of the issues with the sets I was thinking about using for my build was how much uptime do the sets give me. I know a lot of people use clever alchemist, but moonhunter is almost identical in the amount of spell dmg it provides and it has an 80% uptime, whereas clever only has a 46.5% uptime. I checked out some of your vids and I was impressed with the use of some unique sets, great job!
@@VENOMSURGE Yeah PvP here. I am also impressed with what I see here. Ima take what I can. Im guessing you mean the Mag Dk Build? :D That was for all my friends who have no mythics or dlcs. that easy get Mag Dk has almost 8k weapon dmg but people overlook the 11.5k weapon power. Cheers bro
Put the 4p witchknight on the front bar with weapon damage glyphs, and moon hunter on the body, put master ice on the back bar with your poisons, there, your build is unchanged except you have 1000ish extra WD
thrassians is slept on i think for certain builds in certain areas. im actually working on a Imperial city build that uses thrassian, tons of ads to kill there to keep it stacked. ive found a set up that will resolve the health penalty and i wont be a class that uses shields. once i complete the build ill be a small raid boss in the sewers lol.
The nice thing too is it doesn't nerf healing. So if you have a class that does enough healing through damage then it's easier to not get killed. sets like briar heart would also help with the survival. You just got to be careful to not get 1-shot by bosses/players if you don't add more max health. very dangerous running around with 12k health lol
@@VENOMSURGE imperial physique in the sewers all gold increases health 7100. And there are tons of scamps to easily keep the full stacks. It’s fun but high risk high reward. I can solo sweepers with ease and my build isn’t Optimized at all (I’m a sorc so shields are a big loss for me).

Together with all infused spell dmg jewelry and all divines full proceed and spell mundus, you will be around 20k Spell dmg in PvP with a continuous possibly without Sated Fury. With Mag almost 23k Spell Power.

I actually think the dps won't be good... due to the 8 skills and 1 ulti that "has" to be slotted, that only leaves you with 2 flex spots and 1 ulti.
