Same, I need more than white noise because my brain thinks too much. This gives me something to focus off so I can clear my mind. If you like Hollow Knight, mossbag has a video that’s an hour and a half. Ashen hollow has an entire “lore to sleep to” with mostly elden ring and dark souls, but a little elder scrolls too. For more elder scrolls, the FudgeMuppet era timelines are good long videos. Their podcasts are good too. Drewmora, who was a part of FudgeMuppet also has good videos. If you really need a long video, PatricianTV has a 7 hour morrowind video, 12 hour oblivion video, and two Skyrim videos, first one is 11 hours while the second is 9. I saw some really good Sekiro videos, one being a long form lore video and the other being a gameplay analysis about three hours long. Let me know if you got anything good?

I will help you understand Temple of Time's map positioning.
Nintendo has not shown us a full map of Hyrule until Breath of the Wild (technically Four Swords Adventures but you couldn't actively travel on the map in that game). We have only played in SELECT SECTIONS of Hyrule's total map in the games.
The Sealed Temple/Temple of Hylia of Skyward Sword, the Temple of Time of Ocarina of Time, the Temple of Time of Twilight Princess, & the Temple of Time of Breath of the Wild are ALL in the same place.
Ocarina of Time map's fools people because they see Hyrule Castle as the Top of the map.
But you know Hyrule Castle always resides in a CENTRAL area of Hyrule.
So that means that there is land ABOVE Hyrule Castle in that game but we're just not allowed to play in it.
ALSO pay close attention to the Picture of Ocarina of Time Map shown in the game's manual.
You see that odd little Black Arrow that is pointing Upper Right in the Directional Legend? THAT is the TRUE North!
Nintendo pulled a Sleight of Hand making you think the Up Arrow was North but it's actually Northwest!
This helps you line up the maps more accurately instead of just doing a simple overlay like most people do.
Monster Maze did Hyrule Geography History videos a while back explaining the seemingly different maps.
He got wrongfully hung up on Four Swords Adventures & couldn't understand it but the rest of it was good.
He RIGHTFULLY explains how FORESTS can be CUT DOWN & GROWN UP over time.
Think about the land now called the United States of America about 600 years ago before the Europeans came over & think how different things were then. Imagine literal thousands of years under these scenarios in a land of magic & mystery.
The Temple of Hylia from Skyward Sword was in a CENTERPOINT between Faron Woods, Eldin Volcano, & Lanayru Desert.
The Temple of Time from Ocarina of Time was ALSO in a CENTER area hence Hyrule Castle & Castle Town.
The Temple of Time from Twilight Princess doesn't SEEM to be in a CENTER area but that's because Hyrule Castle was rebuilt NORTHWARD after the Gerudo Attack in the Child Timeline currently being covered in MajorLink's A Hero's Purpose Part 5.
The Ocarina of Time's Hyrule Castle & Castle Town was destroyed & Hyrule Castle was rebuilt Northward.
The Faron Woods AKA the Kokiri Forest grew Northward eventually surrounding the old Castle & becoming the Sacred Grove.
The Temple of Time from Breath of the Wild is seemingly a REBUILT Temple commemorating the original Temple & its also in a CENTRAL area of the map.
There are very plausible theories that Akkala is ACTUALLY the lands of Zelda 1 & Zelda 2.
There are very plausible theories that A Link to the Past's map lines up perfectly with other maps if you turn it Clockwise 45 degrees. We don't even get to PLAY in the "Faron" region of that game which is off the map to the Southeast with that turn.
And modern "Hebra" or "Snowpeak" would be Northwest past that region's NORTHERN Lost Woods.
Very accurate to Breath of the Wild, wouldn't you say?
We all know the Lanayru Desert, the Desert of Mystery, the Haunted Wasteland, & the Gerudo Desert are all the same place.
Desert's always towards the West one way or another, right?
Don't get too attached to HARD North, South, East, West directions.
Pay more attention to how key locations generally relate to each other on the map & then move map accordingly.
This is how Nintendo keeps the map feeling new for play while still adhering to the lore they set down.
My theory on why Zelda put the Master Sword in the Lost Woods and not the Great Plateau is because if the Master Sword was on the Great Plateau, Link could grab it during the tutorial and get killed trying to pull it out.

I‘m sick with an infection right now, and can barely sleep at night through the pain and other symptoms, but just listening to this in the background made it easier for me, because it distracted me a bit from how I‘m feeling, but also was so calming that I could still fall asleep while listening. To add onto the Forgotten Temple being buried and it looking like an excavation, what if this was where Vah Medoh was found? And, upon seeing an outer wall of the Forgotten Temple, they continued digging until they unearthed it in the state we find it in in game? Great video, BTW! BoTW has vaguely confirmed place on the end of all the timelines.
And architectural changes between temples of Time can be explained by it being damaged many times over the history oh Hyrule.
But location itself is hella confusing. But many landmarks shift their positions so, that is kinda hard to explain in a way to make sense. Great landmass swap does make sense if it happened around first calamity. We don't really know that much about that time. only that it happened, Sheikah helped, and then were distrusted for holding massive power. But we know those things only because they're story significant. Landmass swap so far is not important for the story of BoTW, so it's not impossible it just was never mentioned. Remember that BoTW happens in times when that time would be double legendary. It is post apo story, so many stories has been lost to time or mutated so much, you get Hero with a Mastertorch
When the post apocalypse has an apocalypse and another 10000 years pass what do you call it. I mean the world's been destroyed at minimum 3 times and overrun by ganon and his horde atleast 2 times confirmed.
Deserts move, forests die and new one spring up, mountain ranges rise and fall.
It's no surprise things don't quite match up anymore and everything is just mostly forgotten myth and legend

With the different theories about the locations, I have a theory. Mainly said: The Oca (not going to call the chicken beings properly, it's a headache)and the Hylians thought of a plan in case of having one place invaded (knowing Demise curse, and the fact that evil people outside that curse would go straight after the triforce).
The plan was simple: Make more than one place for the Master Sword. One in the woods, where it was the original rest place (Skyloft and Twilight place) that would be left as an emergency resting place in case the usual one was taken or destroyed. With the treacherous woods, it was too dangerous to use it as the usual resting place. The other in the temple of time, as it was the 'usual' place in case of the reincarnation popping up, which would happily mean that the hero can just walk up and get the sword quickly. Then they made sure to try to maintain the temple of time's form and size, but making different details to confuse the reincarnation of Demise if it did reincarnate more than once (which he did, so good idea!).
That's why there's the difference between the places of Twilight princess and Breath of the Wild/Ocarina of time.
For the Gate of Time, I theorize that after the duty... The hylians thought it was too dangerous to just misuse, and with the plan to mess with Demise in case of reincarnation... The gate was scavenged and reformed into different pedestals that could be used to charge up the master sword and keep it in a good state, like the one in the temple of time (hence covering the fact that Link goes to the future whenever he pulled it out).
This would show that at least some of the kings between the ages had been enough smart and realistic to consider the fact that Demise could play the cards better than expected and cause a mess, hence deciding to at least make any attempt of nullifying the master sword... Well, the hardest possible for the reincarnation of Demise.
15:00, this theory of floating landmasses is getting more and more plausible with the new trailers of Tears of the Kingdom displaying floating land masses....
Oh for sure, I'm probably wrong, my goal is to open up conversations around the games, not be "correct".

I LOVE the idea that the second Gate of Time was turned into the round pedestal, on which the Master Swords sits. Never thought of that. That would also explain why it was called Temple of Time.

I think the text from twilight princess referred to the zonai, not the ooccoo. Rauru has huge ears and hylians are said to have large ears to hear the gods. The zonai come from the sky, were the og founders of hyrule and had a castle next to the temple of time perior to the centrally located Hyrule castle, likely built to seal Ganon as well.
In Totk the master sword is stuck in Zelda’s head but is not stuck in the pedestal in great hyrule forest. There are many places the master sword can be.

I am a bit confiused with the forgotten temple being the mining facility. Wasn't it originally in what would become the Gerudo Desert? Not entirely sure how the entire structure was moved all the way there.

The Ocarina of Time Temples & their respective Sages with the Medallions they possess drop a MAJOR clue in this lore.
Rauru, the Sage of Light, the last surviving Sage from Ganondorf's attack AKA the Wise Owl Kaepora Gaebora...
Gaepora was the father of the first Zelda from Skyward Sword so this means Rauru is a RELATIVE of the Royal Family.
The Hylian man Rauru, the Sage of Light, resides in the Temple of Light possessing the Light Medallion.
The Kokiri girl Saria, the new Sage of Forest, resides in the Forest Temple possessing the Forest Medallion.
The Goron Chief Darunia, the new Sage of Fire, resides in the Fire Temple possessing the Fire Medallion.
The Zora Princess Ruto, the new Sage of Water, resides in the Water Temple possessing the Water Medallion.
The Sheikah guardian Impa, the new Sage of Shadow, resides in the Shadow Temple possessing the Shadow Medallion.
The Gerudo second-in-command Nabooru, the new Sage of Spirit, resides in the Spirit Temple possessing the Spirit Medallion.
The Hylian Princess Zelda, the Sage of Time, resides in the Temple of Time...possessing the LIGHT ARROWS.
The Temple of Time is how you access the Temple of Light in the Sacred Realm.
Zelda, the mortal reincarnation of Hylia the Goddess of Light & the Goddess of Time, is naturally leader of the Seven Sages.
Rauru AKA Kaepora Gaebora is related to Gaepora so of course Rauru the Sage of Light & Zelda the Sage of Time are related.
Related by Blood AND by Concept. Zelda the Sage of Time holding a LIGHT object is no coincidence.
And neither is the LIGHT Medallion symbol showing up in Twilight Princess' Temple of TIME.
And it's all because of this simple fact. You cannot measure TIME without a LIGHT source. LIGHT is the source of TIME.
We measure time by SOLAR (the SUN) or LUNAR (the MOON which reflects the SUN) cycles.
That's how I figured out what Goddess Hylia was. I got at least TWO of her titles. Goddesses have multiple titles.
Can't yet find her virtue on the level of Power, Wisdom, & Courage yet but I DO know her elements.
Nintendo is not accidentally doing this or slapping this lore together. They have thought this through HEAVILY.

A simple look art the art book will completely blow your theory about the Forgotten Temple out of the water. It was built by adding bits and pieces onto the Sealed Temple sometime after the events of Skyward Sword for the purpose of commemorating the various incarnations of the hero throughout the ages. What’s more baffling is you used a piece of concept art from the book, yet still didn’t bother to read the official description!

The master sword in the TotK logo looks somewhat like twili, and those black tattoos or corruption on link's sword arm, maybe it has something to do with the interlopers

I agree that this idea is really cool and would make a great plot point, _but_
For Demise to reincarnate as Ganondorf, Demise would have to be destroyed, as Fi says he is. Otherwise he's just duplicating himself with a mortal body. Even Hylia couldn't do that

My personal theory is something along these lines:
The Master Sword is not an inherently powerful artifact. Its base state is the Goddess Sword (and god knows that thing sucks in early skyward sword)
What makes it special is that it is a vessel for power. It is tempered by the power of the three golden gods _and_ the patron god Hylia, making it theoretically more powerful than simply using Hylia's power alone.
When its power fades, that power can be restored, and can even grow further. Yes, I am a little bit spoiled by having Tears of the Kingdom come out already and having the Deku Tree spell it out, but if we continue looking at older Zelda games, we see the Master Sword inheriting all sorts of powers from all sorts of places
- It's a key to control time powers (see OOT and windwaker)
- It's able to harness Demise's lightning in his bossfight
- It's able to harness magic medallions in Link To The Past
- It's able to absorb the light of Sols in Twilight Princess
And of course, in the new game, we see it fed Zelda's holy power.
The Master Sword was filled with immense power in Skyward Sword - enough to surpass Hylia herself and slay the Demon King (which she could not)
But ages and cycles later, that power has faded with time and has to be restored
In the games where the sword doesn't need to be restored, we can infer that the sword still contains some embers of the power it collected long ago in the hands of the hero of the sky
My theory is that Zelda will be stuck in that past during TOTK.
However, as you pointed out, it’s possible the gate of time is the pedal stool of the master sword. This is further backed by the removing and placing of the MS in OoT and how it time travels you.
I believe the goal for link will be to reforge the MS by defeating canon/malice and placing the MS in its rightful spot, allowing link to travel back to get Zelda.

Crazy idea 10,000 years ago is before skyward sword in time, and the calamity that is foretold is not actually the events of breath of the wild but instead about the release of demise from the master sword and it's breaking.
TotK Snake eating eats own tail logo backs up theories like these can't wait to see what comes next... or first... or last?? I think it's reasonable for BotW/TotK to either be the last events of all the time travel shenanigans we have played through in the games thus becoming the first event that sets them all off as the events turn into the myth that shapes and guides Skyloft as a civilization towards the state it is in for the events of Skyward Sword to take place, only for time to circle back again through all the games until TotK to be looped endlessly.
Or I'm waaaaay off and we can all theorize for years and years to come about legendary heroes, blades, princesses and evil demon kings and where they belong canonically.
I'm wondering if the divine wish was more along the lines of rewriting history along with moving areas. Thus making people not question hyrule constantly changing. Although if this is the case then it might lead to more questions.

The thought it gives me is, “Why give three golden goddess smaller temples for worship only in one place, but have Hylia so widespread in worship? Wouldn’t that offend goddesses of creation who have stepped in to save the people from Ganondorf?”

I feel like the lore has never been explicit with this part...maybe it is because of the place they are at...since it is the temple of time, it is a port for the master sword....and since this is the place where --now we know-- zelda became a dragon, it makes sense that Hylia herself would be commemorated so strongly over the other goddesses in this region. Because of Zelda's inherent sacrifice for the kingdom.
also the worship of "lesser" kami in temples is common in Japan. Amaterasu is a goddess that is basically the cheerleader for shinto, but she was not the goddess that created Japan. That was Izanagi and Izanami, and they do not have any temples that I specifically know of....and they are definitely not as worshiped as Amaterasu.
And now like over 50% of the population is Christian, but who knows these are all just legends anyway. Thanks for reading my fanfic.

Got a feeling botw and totk is the down fall time line just a couple hundred years after the sages sealed Ganon and he's corrupted the light realm and is coming back to the real world
i do too.... i am also leaning toward the child timeline because that is the only one where the triforce isnt assembled
A time gate left without any safeguards would be very foolish as the possibility would allow anyone to change Hyrule history on a whim surely the sages realized this and altered it's functionality to require a key or a series of keys to activate it. As we saw in OOT even with the spirit stones and the Ocarina Ganon himself wouldn't dare to place his evil hands on the master sword to remove it as he probably would have been obliterated 🤔
And here I thought the occa were descendants of the people who stayed in the sky after skyward sword
