- Today we leave the Netherwich basin, in Droitwich and head down the beautiful but very boater unfriendly, Droitwich Barge canal, there really isn't anywhere to moor on this canal, its either reeds or fishing pegs, so we cruise the whole way to the very bottom of the canal to Hawford, where it reaches the very much in flood River Severn. So we could be here for a while, so we take a walk to a local house that sells duck eggs along the River Severn, but along our walk, we discover a worrying sight, a huge landslide onto the River Severn below.

Seeing your swollen rivers. reminds me that misery loves company. With the temps climbing above freezing every night, the winter snowmelt is well underway in Utah.s Wasatch Mountains..I've been carefully watching the river that runs by my house as it continues to steadily rise towards its high water mark. I hope we all escape unscathed.
Let's hope it doesn't come up to far. Fingers crossed 🤞

Where you moored by the bridge. You can catch the bridge to Worcester. Also, a campsite which sells boat parts called Millhouse.

When Fishermen are in a club there are designated places where they can fish. We just don't moor there as don't want to upset them 😊
