Please delve deeper into this topic, such as the need to get a financial advisor and having a stock broker, are they that necessary from the start of your investment journey or do you only need them when your portfolio has grown and you're looking to expand your investment options, love your videos, they're truly helpful.
I will be expanding, on this subject a little more. I have a few other videos on this subject if you are interested. also I do not recommend using a brokers since they are paid commission. Just like a salesmen their agenda might not match yours. But if you get a fiduciary instead, they might be able to help you better.

Cars actually depreciate over time unless they are mint condition collection cars. But usually any other car would depreciate and loose it's original value, so a 5 k dollar care would actually decrease over time
Yes, exactly. I think that he chose the car just as an example to explain the general thing though. Still, it might be pretty confusing for new investors or for people that do not understand finance at all. When the video got to the moment when he starts talking about the car "appreciating" in value, I was like: What??? It definitely made me think for a while. So yes, it is a pretty unfortunate example to use.

Great video, but there is a but. Stocks can be a good investment, but for (1) I feel stocks are too limited and (2) Mutual Funds can be a better investment, for they are a collection of stocks from either a set asset class or industry sector, which is managed. Personally I use a diversification of asset classes that includes REITs and Bond Funds.
The Bond explanation is too short and IMHO NOT CORRECT! :P And what are Derivatives, Futures, Commodity Markets and Gold or other Metals (Silver or Platin)?
He’s not talking about a specific car... the point is that the overall price of cars move up by 8% annually and the money in savings only increases by .006%. This way, the money he saved is “less valuable” in the auto market because the auto market went up in price faster than his money grew based on interest.
