      1. which is complete - which contains all the requisite parts;
      2. which is so good that nothing of the kind could be better;
      3. which has attained its purpose.
      1.its not complete since you added part's
      2. Other companies do it better including if you want to stay Glock arguably zev

But once I was in the gun store and I fondled many different firearms I found that the g48 was the best fit for me and my hand size. A few weeks later I started experiencing buyers remorse wishing I bought the bigger model but now that I’m a more experienced gun owner and I own many other firearms I find that the g48 is still my best “do-all” gun. It’s my EDC, it a great range gun and it was also my bedside gun until i I got my 1911. but I only use that for home defense because it has a rail for a light and my g48 doesn’t.

    Glock is excellent but for me, I would need undercuts for all because of my BIG HANDS. I live in CA so I’d need to spend more than $1000 total with frame work of a Gen 3 Glock to have undercuts and remove finger grooves. I cannot put up with that Glock knuckle feeling at all.
    I’ve rented a Gen 3 19 and 34. Both were uncomfortable though the 34 was very accurate with that beautiful trigger pull.
    I love my brother’s G19 Gen 5 (he’s a cop so he can have an almost any gun outside of the CA roster). I was struggling at first but I became very accurate with it. However, I still got uncomfortable after 45+ rounds. I’m telling you Glock needs to have all their trigger guards with undercuts out of the box!
    So far, I’m most compatible and accurate with the Springfield XD9 Service Model. It’s out of the box ready for me. Though, I’d want to see if I can get something smaller and be more or as accurate and as comfortable as the XD. My beef with any of the XD guns I’ve tried (Service and Sub-Compact) are their triggers.

    Glock's are really good pistols which anyone can rely on. But let's also be honest, Glock was the best striker fired pistol, when Glock was the only striker fired poly pistol available on the market. The competition caught up to Glock and passed them up a long time ago. Glock has been making the same pistol since 1982. There are way too many better options out there if you are in the market for a striker fired poly pistols that are cheaper, better made, and you do not have to add anything to the pistol out of the box to make it mechanically a better shooting pistol.

    • @truthseeker1581

      @doobiedoo7623 6 месяцев назад

      @@truthseeker1581 I should have clarified my comment when I posted. You could say my comment was for people who were considering buying their first poly striker fired pistol. It would be counterintuitive for a person like you that has invested so much in the Glock platform. If a person like you switched to another poly striker fired pistol manufacturer, you Glock,s would become safe queens.
      I had owned firearms for for 30 years before I decided to buy a poly striker fired pistol. Before this, all my pistols were all metal. My first poly striker fired pistol purchase was a G17 Gen 4. I went with Glock because of its reputation and on recommendations of friends. I then got a deal on a G19 Gen 3 and a G19 Gen 4, brand new with 3 mags each for $399.00 ea.
      I have since bought poly striker fired poly pistols from other manufacturers, like S&W, Sig and H&K. Unlike my Glocks, these other pistols did not need a darn thing out of the box (to make them mechanically better) when I bought them. Once I bought these other pistols, my Glock's became safe queens. I have several issues with the Glock's, like the cheap plastic sights and the tiny mag and slide releases. My biggest beef with my Glock's are the horrible ergonomics. I absolutely hate the Glock pistol grip angle.

    • @josephlegacy929
      @josephlegacy929 6 месяцев назад

      Better how? It’s impossible to quantify that objectively speaking. Glocks need new sights out of the box sure, but everything else is preference. Many including myself shoot them extremely well and are used to their triggers and grip, and they have less recoil than many modern alternatives (pdp, p320, vp9 etc). What actually matters is the gun is reliable, and glock embodies reliability.

Glock have the cheap plastic "u" sights. 3. My HK and S&W have ambi slide releases, Glock's do not. 4. The mang and slide releases on the HK and S&W are nice and big. The Glocks are tiny. 5. Triggers are better on the HK and S&W. 6. The mags on the Glock are plastic. The mags on the HK and S&W are all metal, and are coated with a material to assure they function under adverse conditions, like if they get a little sand on them. 7. The machine finishes on the HK and S&W are superior. Break down the pistols and you can see that it took a lot longer to machine the HK and S&W than it did a Glock. 8. The finishes on the Glock are cheap compared to that of an HK or a S&W......I have a lot more but you get my point. Like I said Glocks are good pistols that you can rely on, but now there are way better options and for the same price, except HK. HK's are pricey, but worth every single penny.

      @@josephlegacy929 I have several striker fired poly pistols, including two G19's and one G17. I also have a VP9 and a Sig-320, and and a S&W M&P, all in 9mm. So i will compare my G19 Gen 4 to my M&P 9. 1. Glock has that horrible pistol grip angle that forces its shooter to cant the wrist in the gun hand down, in order to live up the sights. My Smith has a 1911 pistol grip angle and points naturally. 2. Glock came with cheap plastic sights. My Smith came with Trijicon night sights out of the box. 3. Smith has ambi slide release, Glock does not. 4. Smith came with metal mags that are coated with material that will help facilitate the extraction of a mag if sand gets in the mag well. Glock comes with cheap plastic mags. 5. Smith has a better trigger. 6. Smith is better machined and finished. I can go on and on but you get the idea..........Like I said Glock's are very good pistols that you can rely on but they are definitely that the best option for a person interested in purchasing their first striker fired poly pistol. PS, I sleep with my G17 Gen 4 by my beside.

    I have to use a Glock 22 Gen 3 at work, and I absolutely loathe the magazine release on it, and the G19 Gen 3 I qualified with was just as bad. I'm expecting the G19 Gen5 MOS that I ordered to be much more usable in that respect. I've also ordered a Streamlight TLR-1HL and Holosun 507C to go with it as well as a Safariland 6360RDS ALS/SLS duty holster that handles the optic and light.

    My ONLY gripe with Glock is what you get as far as factory upgrades out of the box, for the time we live in. The performance trigger should be a standard trigger, double undercut, magwell, sights, better grip texturing and metal FKN mags. You buy a glock just to upgrade it essentially (yes you dont have to) but compared to other manufacturers, Glock lacking in thia area

    I loved my Glock 19 MOS. Seriously just a well-designed and well-manufactured tool. My main complaint were the ergos. Just didn’t feel good in my hand. Also, it gave me about as much excitement as a hammer does. It’s a great tool with little personality. If you’re cool with that, then it’s truly a great utilitarian gun.

    I bought a Better than Glock Shadow Systems , Glock still puts Plastic Sights after 5 Generations , They went back to a single Pin , The 34 of past had the Slide Top Cut Out for weight . To get what you can buy for $900.00 To Upgrade a Glock = $1500.00 so $ 900.00 with all the out of the box . I shot glocks since they came out . I found It was Best to Buy the 23, 22, 35 , and Buy Conversion Barrels all you have to Buy is 9mm mags then you have a 9mm 40 cal 357 sig will work fine in a 9 mil Mag . Bill Drills Depend on The shooter .

    Because it's the most proven semi-auto pistol in history and modern times. No other pistol, outside of the 1911, has had more years of combat, service, and carry..ever. And proving itself over and over again in those categories. There's a reason that every polymer striker fired pistol is compared to, and is an attempt to dethrone Glock. Because they are the top of the mountain. And while some pistols have maybe a better trigger here or there. No one has made a better overall pistol in its category yet.
