Hello, looking for a similar service in Shanghai, since you have some warehouse and contact in China, would you have any store to recommend by chance? thanks!
Wow. Damn. I'm impressed. I've worked in microelectronics for 40 years and i have seen some talented rework, but THIS is an incredible demonstration. This all looks so easy when it's its performed with every parameter dialed in correctly. The proper temps for the proper amount of time, knowing how much solder to use, the air flow rates, etc. To make it all work that well takes an enormous number of experimental trials or a very talented technician. Most likely, both. Great work.
I like seeing these types of tutorials - but I see a lot of tutorials represent what is possible IF certain conditions are met...in this case, the conditions are that (a) you have the tools & setup (b) you have the components (c) you have the EXPERIENCE necessary - so I guess the word "tutorial" is really assuming a very specific person that meets all those conditions - it's not really relevant otherwise aside from seeing what is possible (like what other comments have said). But definitely a lot of skill & good work being able to show your expertise.
That is the basis of all tutorials. A tutorial is only showing you how something is done, its up to you to realise whether you have the tools or expertise. If I produced a tutorial for how to clap, and someone that had no arms complained that they cant follow the tutorial because they have no arms, is that the fault of the tutorial?
@@_MJ07_ I would say that it depends on how it is marketed - there is a well-known auto tutorial RUclipsr (won’t reference his name) - and he will present a generic title (like “how to do ______ to your car”) - but it only really fully applies to that exact Make, Model, and Year - if you don’t have those criteria - it most likely wouldn’t apply - or it would have gaps…so maybe adding disclaimers for context would be relevant if the creator intends for people to actually follow the tutorial (vs it simply being a demonstration).
It has always been possible the issue is that it is a tough process to do so now the RAM is a different situation it is even harder and has a low chance of success it's pretty much impossible to upgrade the RAM on the m series computers
@@mafiamac yeah actually the ram IC is near the M3 chip due to high exposure of heat from the heat gun there are high chances are the cpu wafer to get cooked
@@teevoapp Oh ok. It would be nice if you did provide the service and we could bring it to your shop. Do you know any places in China that does this for Macbooks?
This looks like this is techonology specifically created to be unrepairable. Im impressed.
i'm impressed with the music..
horrible
This is the future of future computing.
I will try this today!
How do you know if the chips are properly aligned on the solder balls?
just experience and someone said tin liquid has surface tension
the soldering flux helps to align the chip on the pads.
if you reball the chip correctly and flow the heat evenly, the melted solder ball's surface tension will align the chip automatically.
@@samiulislamsharan very cool! thanks for the info

Im ready to open my macbook. I need vodka and storages. Hahaha

Where did you get the 8tb storage for the upgrade?
Why not use CNC to remove the old NAND chips? It's safer for the mainboard
They will use old nand for orther MacBook. It is 1 Tb
the mainboard for macbook is big enough. we can save the nand chips. we do grind the chip for the mainboard of iphone
Can you upgrade ram
nope. macbook m series can't upgrade ram
@@teevoapp thanks for reply
@@teevoapp it should be possible
@@teevoapp Yes it is possible. Ive seen videos of it being done.
amazing work
I wander what is maximum possible RAM and SSD amounts you can put there
we can't upgrade RAM, only SSD. SSD is also can only upgrade to official largest capacity
my Mac m1 pro logic board is not working, do you think i should repair or buy a new one.
it depends, you'd better find a repair shop to check and quotation
@@teevoapp they told me $700 for the repair
Do you sell this type of Board? or Do you accept upgrade Job?
hi, we don't sell mainboard. we are not able to accept upgrade job right now because of shipment and custom problem.

do the nand's need to be programmed? If so, possible with P15 programmer? thank you
no need
so for the m2 need to program for the m3 no need? just buy empty k5a8 and swap + small parts? For example m3air only swap 2 nands and restore?
don't need Nand programmer? just a new Nand?
yes
Great work , can you use these components from another locked /mdm macbook pro ?

Me thinking an experienced PC builder and modder was going to be able to follow this guide 😅
This is Apple level work
Why would you need 8tb
I don’t mind paying someone to do the mod for me
Great, but one chip died = all storage died. This is how raid 0 works.
Not an average man job. I would wait till my flash dies and then.. Then throw it away and buy a new one
This is definitely cost alot to do.
yeap
