Good luck sticking external storage to iPhone for extended periods. Not to mention some external storage need external power plus when transferring large files, you want phone battery enough juice but you stuck, can't charge iPhone😂

@ and based on your comment , you mentioned external “storage needs power to run” , shows you aren’t exposed to external ssd technology or atleast Nvme ssd enclosure tech.. and u r still stuck with external hdf that requires power to run all the mechanical parts inside?? Flash drives consume way less power .. and the one i mentioned above is just a pendrive only…based on the data speeds and the power needed to run it, its far better

@suryavishwanath8564 great. You think other people wasn't "advanced" like you? I knew NVME external enclosure but did you know how much watt it required and how much iPhone 16 pro able to supply. You can't supply enough wattage to NVME drive it meant for bigger devices like laptop and PC. I don't say it won't work, you can make it work with lower spec NVME with reduced theoretical speed full it supported. It's impractical to occupy the USB-C all the time. What era did you live in even iPhone need external drive stuck in? You do you. I would say the cost for external NVME drive is too much better off to upgrade the storage to higher capacity with added phone speed improvement btw.

@@soshisowon bro i didnt say there is only external nvme ssd alone..i am mentioning there is literally a pendrive (flash drive) which does the same job…now tell me, which pendrive consume as much power as an ssd…?? Also, nvme ssd are very power efficient..plus if you have a bigger cache (slc storage) , the power required data transfer required is very very low..negligible..so there is literally arguments you can do in winning this debate..external storage are far cheaper, extremely tiny(finger nail size), and consumes was less power..almost negligible amount..i dont know what r u trying to prove here ?
