I always answer random numbers by saying "City Morgue, You Stab Em, We Slab Em, how may we help you?" 9/10 of them just hang up and seem to stop calling back for the most part.

I used to have a friend who put my phone number down for a fitness center membership - He had a contract with them and stop paying . they kept calling even though i told them they have the wrong number...I would even cuss them out but they would call every day just to be spiteful... I just changed my number.
