Enjoyed the vlog and the beautiful photos. Talking about the kindness of strangers we did a B&B tour of a Ireland when we first married some 30 years ago. Got a puncture in pouring rain and managed to get to Bantry where a man said he could take us to a garage. We followed him down country roads, getting a bit twitchy, but it was fine. Got the tyre replaced and went on out way. Never forgotten how kind people were .
Oh Stew. Taking that second bite of that chicken burger, was like seeing a sign for "Wet Paint" and touching it to see if it is. Trusting you had no ill effects 🙂🐕🚙
Hope you got the loo fixed. Your gonna need it after eating those burgers lol. Those narrow roads can’t be good for the bowels either! Another lovely park up. Beautiful scenery and good fishing. Can’t ask for much more.
Running repairs worked and I can confirm the bivvy is still in tact and all was good with the burgers following a quick flash in the pan lol thanks for watching

Another great video, with wonderful scenery. the wee road at the beginning did not look like there were many pacing places, hope you did not meet too much traffic. The grass in the middle reminded me of the "main" roads the first time I travelled to the NW Scotland many many years ago. Many thanks for sharing. ATB

Great video! Was a bit worried about Stew after the turkey burger😅. You put a lot of effort into filming, researching and editing to make very enjoyable videos. We have amazing scenery up north too…and we’re also very friendly 😊

Don't you just love a single track road, especially one with grass in the middle. You actually had some crap weather! You had some gorgeous weather on the whole from what I can recall up to this point. There you go, dry weather again lol. Karl's phone is always deleting footage, it's so annoying. That was a nice walk and a lovely waterfall too. Just our kind of place.
Yeah the weather was changeable but it was autumn we tended to get stunning mornings - from what I can see it’s your sort of landscape and isolation with loads of history
Loving following your travels in Harry and can't wait to start my own - 'Sadie' will hopefully be arriving by the end of April after ordering last March 😊

Hungry Hill campsite is named after a nearby mountain of the same name which is also the title of a novel by Daphne du Maurier based on the family who ran the copper mines at nearby Allihies. The actress Maureen O’Hara lived for many years in Glengarriff.
Great video, well done. That small road with the grass growing in the middle is what we'd call a bóithrín (boreen), which is the dimunitive of bóthar (bó = cow, thar = width of) - in old times a track just wide enough for a cow to pass became known as bóthar, in modern terms it means road.
Hi you two,ye are down a area that we want to retire too,a beautiful part of Ireland. There is a lovely campsite down Glengarrif called O Sheas, and winner of many a RHS flower show. Great captures on yer road trip, thank you. Try online re losing footage,can sometimes open up the memory card and it is still there,or some apps can get it for you.

Thanks for watching and commenting so when we started out I used free software on the Mac called iMovie which is more than capable but my step son and wife bought me Final Cut Pro a couple of Christmas ago - you can get a similar base equivalent called davinci resolve or something like that so you may want to check that out to
You say you can't do roasts. I always wonder why people don't have airfryers in camper vans, is there a reason why you can't, the wattage or something? They would be so convenient, you could do a roast chicken and potatoes in an hour
Thanks for watching - you will see some vans that have a high capacity on battery to be able to use that which would be good or if you are on campsites you may be fine if it operates at the right wattage . We do a lot of wild camping so we don’t have the battery capacity to sustain it

The rod is a rigged and ready x5 rod and reel kit - not cheapest but a great adventure rod and high quality stuff - case is brilliant Some do the whole wild Atlantic way in 3 weeks but I think you need to be selective and spend time in places - enjoy

What was the name of the fishing rod kit thinking of doing irland in the near future is 3 weeks long enough for a good look around
