Five finger strand ..Malin head. N loads more uve missed out this time around wee took 5 days alone on the coast of donegal on the motorbike 3 year ago
The part of the wild Atlantic Way that I love the most is actually the part that you didn’t do! (sorry that’s not a criticism - you have miles to do and can’t do it all!) Definitely include it the next time - County Donegal is spectacular in my opinion. My favourite beaches would be Stroove, Kinnego Bay, Culdaff, Marblehill, Magheraroarty, Carrickfinn. There’s loads more. I also think there’s more of NI to explore in the counties you didn’t visit - Counties Down, Armagh, Tyrone and Fermanagh. I look forward to your videos down the rest of the WAW!
@@stitchingbythesea1965 You are so right, so much to see you are just scratching the surface with 4 weeks, it would take months to do it justice, but the same can be said for Scotland.
As noted by others you have missed the best part of the WAW IMHO. But then I am biased as I have a holiday home on that section of it. You could have even parked up for free with spectacular sea views from our driveway. Next time maybe. Not sure if you were told this bit of trivia but the road sign for the Wild Atlantic Way is based on the initial first letter of each word linked together ie WAW
There’s actually higher cliffs on Achill Island but they’re not as accessible. They’re call Croaghaun and they’re 688m high. It’s the back of the mountain up behind Keem.
As someone commented before you have missed almost all the coastline of Donegal. Like so many you have crossed the border from Derry, then headed through Letterkenny, then down towards Donegal town, missing out the Rosses area and Bloodyforeland, some of the best coastline on the WAW. But in some sense it makes me smile because then we get the roads to ourselves. Lol. Slieve League is awesome and never used to cost anything for parking right were you bought the ice cream. I rode straight up on my motorcycle. They are the tallest cliffs in Europe and everyone else thinks it's the cliffs of Moher that are. If you intend visiting them the cost would be 12 euro per person, so park in Doolin car park and you will access the cliff path for free. I completed the whole WAW from Kinsale on June this year on my motorbike, finishing at our home in Donegal, I have a 9 part video series on my channel. Achil island is a must see as well as Keem bay. If you go to Keem bay you can only take your motorhome so far, but a short walk then to a stunning beach. The Sky Road at Cliffden is another must see. The Dingle peninsula and the Ring of Kerry a must also. I'm glad I done it on a motorcycle instead of our campervan as some of the roads I travelled on were single track and twisty and I got the smells and fresh air. Good luck and enjoy. ☘👍
Aw I know! We just have such a time limit to get down to Galway before we head back to Scotland for another job unfortunately 😣 we will be back though!
I agree, Donegal believe it or not Donegal actually has the best coastline on the wild Atlantic way so you do need to come back and check it out. Also a night in Derry is a good wee night, nice food and pubs.
@@gallowglass2630 I actually saw a couple when I was recently in England, a very hardy breed. My most recent spottings of them were a small heard in South Ayrshire but a hillside full of them off the Solway side of the Dumfries road.
Uve missed the best parts of donegal already. U should have crossed at malliigan point on the ferry to green castle them stuck to the coast all the way round. My old dad was from lifford on donegal.have loads of relatives over that way
Great vlog as always. Have loved watching your adventures over the last few years. We stayed in Glenbeigh earlier in the year and the drive around the Ring of Kerry is stunning. I would highly recommend you go to the Killarney National Park and especially the Gap of Dunloe. Will you be bringing a book out about the WAW? Hope so as we will hopefully getting a van soon and the WAW is first on our bucket list. Looking forward to being virtual travelers with you on your adventure. Best wishes😀

Nice video, great to see people visiting and filming in "Northern Ireland". I'm born and grew up in NI, there's alot of differences in the countries, and there's just as many beautiful places to see, like Fermanagh, you also missed the largest Fresh water Lough I'm the United Kingdom
Glad you enjoyed the video Helen 😁 unfortunately, if you are looking for a channel that doesn’t do any activities and only drives around then this may not be the one for you 😊 we simply vlog our daily lives, one’s that are filled with activities (majority that we pay for and some that are partnerships) and we like to advertise the best things to do in the regions we visit. We also run a publication company for our jobs (which is obviously a massive part of our lives) and so we will of course talk about that a lot as well 😊
From staggering cliffsides to adorable animals...you guys are deftly showing us once again the window to your world, and we are ever so grateful that the curtains remain open🪟🌎 About that Irish ice cream..at first I thought it contained a ummm, special boozy ingredient ...I suppose it's not the case lol. Cheers you two! Oh, enjoyed the kicky music as well! Seemed to have an Irish jibe to it!

We also always think about what we need to use up first before making a meal lol. Sorry to see some of your strawberries go to waste ☹ The sunset view was so beautiful. Great video guys!
Hey! We have done it both ways a few times now, depending on where we are getting the ferry from and to and what time of year it is 😊 there isn't much of a difference I would say but the last couple of times we have driven it north to south 😊 Are you planning a trip?
People from the UK do not need a passport to come to Ireland, but do need official ID. Its called the Common Travel Area. (Some transport providers, namely Ryanair, do require a passport though.)
Have you ever visited the Wild Atlantic Way for yourself?! What was your favourite sight? Let us know below 😁

Love your videos, Gemma and Campbell. X
Thank you 😁❤️ always appreciate the support
Beautiful Tullan strand in stunning Donegal 😍
Thanks for sharing
It’s a very beautiful beach 😁
A wee piece of Scotland! The "zebras" are Belted Galloway bulls....belties for short. My favourite type of cattle.
There are popular in ireland in upland areas ,since our own upland breeds are fairly rare

Aw wow we didnt realise there was a distillery by Sliabh Liag! Need to keep this in mind for when we go back

It’s incredible just how different they are! And it’s nice as there is no border or worry about silly Schengen zones 😁
Iam from the north and can say the south is way better, friendliest people.
A pity you didn’t spend any time in Derry. Fantastic city with plenty to fill 48h. You’ll have to swing by again.
We will definitely be back 😁
Great to see you out and about again....please keep it travel and not all books and free activity gifts etc

You have missed some of the best beaches and scenery in Donegal
What would be your top suggestions for when we come back? 😁
Silver strand beach in Donegal is my favourite

you would have to follow WAW blue signs all around Donegal
The NW and West part is the best

oi. nothing wrong with our cliffs thank you 😅
Not at all 😂 I meant because we were so used to the beauty of those cliffs when we see other ones we arent that impressed haha!
Binevenagh is pronounced bin-ev-nah lol
You all drive on the wrong side of the road! LOL 😂
😂😂
I’m not gonna lie ….
Hey! That’s my line!
Stopped watching when I saw you skipped so much of beautiful Donegal. You might as well have flown past it.
We love Donegal! Been there before and it's a beautiful place 😁
