someday!!! if it was my only car, I would splurge the money on a hemi, but I'm even struggling to pay for the motorhome 440 going into it!😂 hopefully someday I can focus more on quality over quantity!😊
That’s so cool, I’ve always wanted to do a nascar one, then tread wear built the exact car I wanted to build, good to know there’s a cheaper way to do it
yeah, im thinking now that I'm this far, I would like to build a second car someday and build a nascar/race style build. but my current car, im really looking forward to seeing people's reactions to such a wild looking car, and being able to tell them thats how they were new
a couple places sell them, janak is probably the best reproduction available. show cars rob in Canada makes them as well, and stinger fiberglass in Florida. those are the ones I know about
very cool ..... briliant to find you .... why? you ask.. becouse here check this out im building a 1967 pontiac lemans to be what would have been raced in my opinion in 1969 taladaga when the daytona made its devue with the hemi 426 ... im taking the 67 lemans body doing the hatch back thing and well just imagine ... running a shaved deck 400 to recreate the 303 . im aiming to prove that if pontiac was allowed to race as the others were allowed to that they would have won
One question, if you tried to get insurance of this, if it has the original vin numbers, would it still count as a Charger? Because I'm not exactly sure how insurance companies will insure it if it is practically a different car with the original vin number
really, the daytona is just a sub model or trim package, it's still a 69 charger, but instead of a 69 charger(base), it's now a 69 charger(daytona) similar to cloning one as a RT
@@floyds.mayhem.garage Oh okay, so basically it's like the same difference say if you had a Base Model Corvette and a Z06 Corvette Same car but different variation
yep! I want this one to look original to 1969, but I might have plans for a second Daytona done up more like a racecar. I would love to build a nascar style car
I don't get why everyone goes for fully stock body when the racecars look much better, but I guess the end goal is to sell it to collectors to justify the time spent, so in that sense it's more logical.
Will be so cool to have a Daytona that you can actually drive. Won’t have to be a trailer queen
absolutely! who actually just cruises around in a daytona!?😁
@@floyds.mayhem.garage a Dayton is my dream car I want to turn one into a drag racecar
That's really cool, Floyd! I've got what's left of a '70 Charger 500 that I'm thinking of building into a Daytona. I think you're doing a great job!
do it!!!😁 its been quite the project so far, but I can't wait for it to be done, it'll all be worth it when driving it around
That white interior is rare, low numbers too. Nice job on the window.
At 5:14 "just winging it ". A most appropriate comment to say when converting to a winged supercar. With a wing and a prayer, you will get it done.
That's gonna be sweet man, You need to find a Hemi and a 4 speed for it haha. I have always wanted to build a 1969 Charger 500, that's my favorite

That is going to be awesome when you get it on the road
Right!? I cant wait! slowly but surely I guess haha
So cool! Can’t wait to see more videos of this!
You need your own TV show, brother
I love you just wanted to build something amazing and jumped in head first.
Hemi 4speed super track pack dana and the aqua paint would be KILLER ONE OF A KIND....
As the man stands next to the wing he says, “winging it."
Just came across this channel, love the content!

This is my dream put a big block in it with boom tubes and all black well everything is the car I would forever cherish and is the dream for me.
Nice job man, great cars
thanks! love my collection, time to get everything built now!
Floyd's Mayhem Garage definitely sounds like a good plan. I’ve got to keep building mine. Hopefully the next one I buy is an old DeSoto with a hemi
Badass I love it! Great work dude
thank you. it's been a long project, so hopefully I'll get it done sooner than later

Turquoise with a white wing/stripe will match your hoodie.

You are very ingenius.

Hey Floyd, Have you done any work on your Daytona lately. I am working on a clone as well. Love your videos. Thanks, Steve
I want to do something like this someday, but restomod it as I build it
Love it brother! 🤘🤘

obviously you are an auto craftsman. How about an update. i would like to see the finished project burning tires on pavement.
I have several updated videos beyond this one if you want to check them out. but its still a ways off from being finished
Do you have an email? I have a 73 charger and i need a roof skin.
Im your 700 sub😊
I made a 3d render on one if you are interested
