Pissed in Cup Halloween Special!
What a crazy race! This time around there was a lot more battling for positions. It was a tough start with loss of power but it started to clear up throughout the races. The Plymouth scamp did great with a few more upgrades but I need to get it running better before the next race. it was on its last leg over those last few main event laps.

1968 Dodge C500 Flatbed Updates!
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.2 года назад
Hey guys progress is still being made on the projects! Here is the current state of the dodge C500 (LCF)and me picking up a cool scissor lift for the shop! Turns out the flat bed is pretty useful! I still have plans to make it a dovetail car hauler in the future but at least for now I can use it for truck things! Just imagine it with the Street Legal Racecar on the back! haha

Road To The Pissed In Cup: Race Prep & Paint EP.2

The Plymouth scamp looks to be a good contender for the race! The motor runs well and I have been able to dial in the linkages for the transmission to actually drive it. The car looks to have been in a wreck at some point completely messing up the driver side front alignment. I bent a few things and adjusted the alignment to the best of my abilities so we shall see how it does! I didn't want to...
Road To The Pissed In Cup: Will The Scamp Run? EP.1

Well the plymouth scamp is on its way to becoming a racecar! That is if I can get this thing running right and the transmission actually works. It needs a few things like all the engine wiring, carb mounted, timing, and a few other odds and ends to get it going. it doesn't look like much but it doesn't have to be pretty for this race! #racecar #mopar I am attempting. torace the Pissed in cup ra...
Parts Truck to Rebuild the Burnt Sweptline
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.2 года назад
With plans to rebuild the sweptline to be even better then it was before I decided that I might need a parts truck. Most of the truck should be salvageable but the cab suffered the most heat damage. This might be an opportunity to also make the truck my own with using the refrigerator style door handles and maybe swapping front ends to the earlier style. Stay tuned for the complete rebuild of t...
Did I get Scammed Buying This Plymouth Scamp?
Просмотров 3 тыс.2 года назад
This was one of the stranger encounters on marketplace/Craig’s list though I’ve had a few 😅. I found this scamp which was actually listed as a dodge dart online for a good price so I took the truck and trailer down to pick it up and the plan is to build a lemon/junker style racecar. Needless to say it wasn’t the smoothest transaction but still took it home🤷🏻‍♂️

The 68 C500 is getting some upgrades to make it a better highway cruiser. Before it was geared a little too low and maxed out at 80MPH so I am swapping g out the rear end for a taller gear axle and one that is a bit wider which should help the look of the truck once the bed is on!
Whats Next For The Sweptline After The Fire?

Hey guys, a few days after the fire I was able to spray down the 68 D100 to see the state of it after the fire. in some cases it's better than I expected but it seems like I am still going to have to rebuild the truck completely and paint it. All of the rubber will need replaced and pretty much every nook and cranny is coated in soot. On the bright side it didn't get hot enough to warm any of t...

    • @floyds.mayhem.garage
      @floyds.mayhem.garage 21 день назад

@shaftmasterlathes it's really up to what you're doing with the car, you can do some fancy big brake stuff for racecar type stuff that requires bigger wheels, or in my case, ive done several now that are just updating the existing brakes, and thats the 1973+ mopar A body disc brakes. they are a direct bolt on, they fit 15 inch wheels, some 14 inch wheels, and you can get replacement parts at the local autoparts store. several places offer the A body disc brake setups

My driver side door needs hinges & a lot of other stuff, it’s a nice truck just got some problems since owner before didn’t take care of it at all. Hinges, fluids, oil pump, oil change, brakes, door panel for both doors, door handles for both doors (driver side snapped yesterday cuz of corrosion, luckily it didn’t snap off on both sides completely & still is openable). There’s more that I haven’t listed but those are most of the issues that are immediate attention to get it run & so I can open it & stuff. So basically about 6.5k to fix it with just those.

Because Downunder we spell it Across and pronounce it without the letter T on the end. Was honestly curious because as I said earlier, I hear it pronounced as Acrost from a lot of American RUclipsrs. Anyway, thanks again for a great video.
