I’m 68 years old, which means I grew up in the muscle car era. I’ve always thought the 68-70 Charger was one of the most beautiful designs in automotive history. What you’ve done, combining the old and new, is simply stunning.

If you hit dislike on this, did you really hear what this guy did to make this? He saved a shell and built the thing with his hands and made it his own! The wheels make the brakes the best they can be and he has ploughed his life into this for 18 months. We should support his skill and that final product. Honestly, we would all own and love that. Very very impressive craftsmanship.

@@kylereese4822I started with molded lexan that is used in pro mods. It was pretty pricey. $600 for both sides with a special scratch resistant coating. Frameless it was too weak to seal up or hold its shape and by the time I had it fitted it had plenty of scratches.
This is a very fine example of a resto-mod, and a great move to hit two birds with one stone too by saving two cars at once, as well as combining classic looks with modern comfort and performance. You deserve a medal for all of your efforts put behind the scenes.

Mostly 440 cars and a couple of Hemi's . this is the best looking Daytona I have seen, you fixed numerous design flaws that the factory boys blew it on. The nose is the way it always should have been. Thank you for the pleasurable experience of seeing your excellent deign and craftsmanship.

Wow, thank you Steve for sharing this amazing car! Since I was a young kid, cars have have mesmerized me. I swore my career path would lead me to an automobile dream job. It started off with me restoring a 1970 Plum Crazy ‘Cuda in High School. Then when I was in college I was published for my first time in Muscle Car Magazine, who had hired me to do some free lance writing for them. I was sure I was on my way. Well fast forward 25 years and I can tell you I’m a residential house painter lol. It’s kinda funny how sometimes your dreams are put on the back burner when you get married. And have a baby. And buy a house. Anyway, the automotive flame has never burned out, and recently I have been transferring my cabinet spraying skills into car spraying skills by practicing on an old Matrix in my garage on nights and weekends. My goal is to restore a car again but this time do all the paint and body work myself. Watching your videos have given me a motivation I haven’t felt in a long time. You are not only obviously a skilled mechanic and sheet metal guy but an artist in every sense of the word. To have the vision and skill to pull off what you accomplished Sir is truly amazing. One that is much more appreciated by any person who has turned a wrench or two in their lives. While I won’t pretend to have an ounce of your talent, I do look forward to putting my very best into my new project and maybe someday I will inspire someone on RUclips as your craftsmanship has inspired me. Beautiful project brother. This is my favorite model Charger of all time. My dad had a 69 Charger he bought brand new off the showroom floor. Of course I was only 4 years old and didn’t realize what it was. But grew to appreciate what he actually had. This project pays homage to those Chargers of that era with a nice spin on it. People need to get over their nitpicking of always finding fault in every little thing. Can’t imagine anyone giving you grief about anything on this car. Beautiful from front to back! It takes some skill to restore a classic muscle car but it takes mad skills to do this. That is a beautiful piece of automotive art you have there. Wow.
I peeled, sliced, soaked then fried French Fries and Red Onions on a Stove and it took a few hours. You must have put a lot of hours building your car.
Super nice car, lots of hard work put into it, all the custo features ect. I thought this was just going to be an old car which somebody slapped a wing and a front end on. This is VERY nice and different. Cars are meant to be worked on and made to how you want it. This is really interesting and something i wouldn't of thought of doing. It all looks very good for what is it. Lots of work and manipulation into everything and it looks well...not stock but good as stock could be.

Super nice car, lots of hard work put into it, all the custo features ect. I thought this was just going to be an old car which somebody slapped a wing and a front end on. This is VERY nice and different. Cars are meant to be worked on and made to how you want it. This is really interesting and something i wouldn't of thought of doing. It all looks very good for what is it. Lots of work and manipulation into everything and it looks well...not stock but good as stock could be.
