Man you needa play super mega baseball 3. It’s damn good. Simple and fun to play. And a pretty deep customization suite too. Has a franchise mode. I’ve gotten more attached to my team and player than I care to admit. I’ve been heart broken when my favorite player set the record for most home runs in a season. Then choked in the World Series. But another player stepped up and nearly won it all by himself. Only for him to go on a tear the next year. And my favorite player continue to struggle.

the backyard baseballs with david ortiz on the cover from the late 2000s are the best. you should check those out. and the backyard footballs from that time were fun too. my kid self enjoyed them at least

Hey I know you mentioned it last video. I think NHL would be fun. They have a solid franchise mode and ok be a pro. Also has a arcade style mode call threes. I think you could find something to do in the game

Hey, I wanna see you play the hideous 2010 Backyard Baseball. I want you to complete the Story Mode of the game. The so called, "Public Enemy Numbuh Wun", is "Jimmy Knuckles" of The Bullies. You're gonna be triggered by his pitching when you finish all the other games. His pitching is from another dimension, he's so good, his curve pitches, CAN CURVE TWICE!

The premise of this game takes me back to the GameCube (and probably more current versions) of Super Mario Baseball. You have a team, challenge rivals, recruit, and then challenge the highest rival (aka. Bowser). Its like Backyard sports looked at that game, slapped some graphics and aged their old assets to be teens, and copied the concept. The GC Mario baseball came out in 2005. I am not saying that is what happened...but its possible.

The Bigs and The Bigs 2 were both great. Spent so many hours on those. It's a shame no one makes those over-the-top sports games anymore.
This does seem better than the football version. I can't believe I even started feeling the hype train along with you as it went along. Probably says more about you as a content creator than the actual game though :P
You know what is a classic nostalgic game for me was MLB2k6, there were mini games, you could have giant heads and other goofy stuff and it was fun!

My brother and I once bought Sega Soccer Slam for a dollar and had hours of fun with it - both for real and for making fun of its absurdity. Imagine an NFL Blitz with the violence turned way down and it's soccer instead of football. I think it fits the definition of "random game you'd enjoy trying out"

I find it surprising they brought back Jorge for this one. I felt he was one of the lesser characters when it came to the Backyard Sports series. Everyone else makes sense in my eyes (aside from Joey, who was introduced during the time the characters looked like something out of The Nutshack)

They could reboot the series, go back to basics with the original art style. If it's done right it could be amazing.
Idea for a series here: sense you never said if Jeff Eaton got drafted or not you could make a mini series on either him in the NFL or a coach or something, and if its NFL you could do an older game for it, like Madden 08 or 09 superstar mode, just an idea
Don't know if you'll see this but since you're doing old sport games you should do "Little League World Series Baseball 2010" haven't seen many videos on it but is a good game and such a fun game from my childhood
If you ever play Backyard Baseball 2005, I recommend using a controller or getting the PS2 version. The game is more fast paced than the ones that came before it.

Has NTE ever played the little league world series game/games? I honestly don't remember if they made more than one😂. I remember playing one on the ps3 that had weird hitting and pitching power ups 😂
You should 100% play the 2004 version of backyard baseball for the 360 or PS2. There are many players that you can unlock and its not super easy nor to difficult. Its one of those games where all the attributes ACTUALLY matter, not one where just power and speed do. you should give it a shot. I think you could make a fun season mode in it, just dont pick to many pro players then it becomes to easy ;)
