Honda also put foam in the intake to try to reduce the noise even further on the US bike. ETV is limited, causing the power reduction. I hear intake noise was the biggest issue. MCU Innovations will be releasing a flash soon that will smooth out the power delivery and bump rear wheel power back up to ~200whp. Since the US has a different sprocket configuration due to the lower performance, it should be even more peppy than the bikes across the ocean after flashing.
I learned some interesting facts and perspectives that I have not seen elsewhere. The awesome quick shots of ripping it up in the canyons was an added bonus. Nice job by the reviewer.
I sat on one at a dealership and the seating position was the least comfortable out of all literbikes. Everything else about the bike i love but that alone would keep me from buying it. Entirely too much weight on the arms. I don't want to be doing a front plank the whole time im riding my motorcycle
Great review! Now, I want to see a full video of that canyon carving!

Sounds great.
Why it is restricted in US ??
Hey Shibam,
That's due to emissions restrictions.
Take care!

EPA says US bikes must not exceed 80% db at 50% of max hp, NOT max rpm. That's why US bikes are restricted to 187 hp at 12,500

An entertaining review, but I’d appreciate reviews on bikes the average rider can ride and afford.
