In Vietnam it is very safe, the people are very friendly and the food is delicious and cheap. They live very affectionately and love each other and they never discriminate between rich and poor.

There are many temples historical sites in Hue and Hanoi, Ninh Binh. Since it was capital cities during the Nguyen dynasty and the empires before that. You should visit Bai Dinh temple/pagoda or Tam Coc temples. Some are ancient, some are impressive.
Yet , the only religion God accepts is Islam. You had a good experience of it in Jeddah, Remember. I hope the best for you and for everyone.@@livingthejolife
That Turle lake or pond used to have a big turle statue. But after the revolution, it was either damaged by all the explosion or simply vandalized by raiders. That pond has a long and strong childhood memory with all the Saigon people. It brings back memories when we were still children, had no money and could only hung out at simple places lol
This vlog is so amazing. Vietnam isn’t a rich country but we’re very happy because we enjoy every moment of our life. In your next trip in Vietnam, hope you will try more local foods, they’re really good
I have a nephew to offer up for your daughter. LOL! He's going on 19 next month and will be starting his sophomore year this fall in college studying engineering. He's an awesome guy and totally won't treat your daughter bad as he grew up with 2 younger sisters that he's a great big brother to (also has a younger brother). He was homecoming king in high school and is currently in a fraternity in college. Very responsible and emotionally mature guy. And he respects his aunt and mom, which shows he was brought up right. :) But she'd have to come to the US unless she can convince him to visit her in Australia...or they can meet in Vietnam as he his maternal grandparents live in Hai Phong. 😂
For us that is the best thing about traveling. Learning about other cultures is so precious. We feel grateful to be able to show our daughter the world ❤️

In 1790, this place was once the Khâm Khuyết gate of the Bát Quái Citadel (trigrams Citadel) also known as the Quy (Turtle) Citadel (Turtle Citadel because the turtle's shell looks like a trigram) . Later, King Minh Mạng changed it to Vọng Khuyết gate (Vọng khuyết means little button ) Through many changes, the road passing through here was leveled, planned, and became Catinat Street after several name changes. In 1878, a water tower for the people was built at the lake's location. By 1921, the water tower was dismantled as it could no longer meet the demand. This road continued to expand to Mayer Street (now Võ Thị Sáu Street), intersecting with Garcerie Street. From there, an intersection between Võ Văn Tần Street, Trần Cao Vân Street, and the two branches of Phạm Ngọc Thạch Street was formed. The French named it Maréchal Joffre Square and erected a monument. In 1956, the monument was demolished, leaving only the water reservoir. After several redesigns, Hồ Con Rùa came into existence. According to feng shui, it is believed that Hồ Con Rùa is where the sacred dragon resides, guarding and harmonizing the vital energy. In this context, the Independence Palace represents the dragon's head, while this place represents the tail, containing a unique spiritual value. Glad you guys had a great time in Vietnam and enjoyed seeing different cultures. As a foreigner, it is difficult to know the actual price because no matter how you haggle, you still pay 2x plus. Family and I are coming back next month. Always fun, just the heat is going to be relentless.
Yes we had a great time! VN is amazing! We don't haggle too low. We stop once we think it's reasonable and the vendor is happy. We like to support the local businesses - not looking to squeeze the price as low as possible. It's all much cheaper than what we can get at home. Enjoy you time! Try to stay cool! Lots of iced coffee 😊

Glad you guys had a great time in Vietnam and enjoyed seeing different cultures. As a foreigner, it is difficult to know the actual price because no matter how you haggle, you still pay 2x plus. Family and I are coming back next month. Always fun, just the heat is going to be relentless.
Yes we had a great time! VN is amazing! We don't haggle too low. We stop once we think it's reasonable and the vendor is happy. We like to support the local businesses - not looking to squeeze the price as low as possible. It's all much cheaper than what we can get at home. Enjoy you time! Try to stay cool! Lots of iced coffee 😊
They may try to overcharge you but step back and realize it's all junk anyway you don't need to buy it unless you like collecting junk.
I'm a domestic person who is still being bought at a high price. If you like it, buy it, but where is the time to find out the price of each product.😂

And, you and your daughter crying at the end is 100% relatable and beautiful. Btw, the first time I went to Bui Vien Street, I had the same reaction: "This is crazy" lol.

Welcome to Saigon. This market will surprise you and has everything. I can see all of you were surprised with Bui Vien [ absolutely love Bui Vien ] hate to break it to all 3 of you, what you call very busy, is considered slow, it gets slammed from 12AM until 4/5 AM as long as absolutely no rain. 1 Word Outstanding . PS Bloopers made me laugh

you guys had such a short stay. Hope you come back again and explore other cities. Saigon is very dense and can seem chaotic for first time visitors. Other cities are more laid back

I stumbled upon your video about your trip in Vietnam and I love it so much. You guys have so much energy and I can feel the energetic vibe through out the video.
