You can walk from Lumpini Park to Benjakitti Park. There’s walkway called the Green Mile that connecting between this 2 parks. Benjakitti Park is bigger and newer than Lumpini Park. This park is the new landmark of Bangkok. I’m sure that you would love Benjakitti Park too. Finally, welcome to Thailand. Thanks for visiting our country.
Go eat a buffet, take a cruise on the Chao Phraya River, and wear Thai clothes. Take photos at Wat Arun, Wat Pho, go see the Grand Palace, ride a tuk tuk, go eat at Yaowarat Road, go see the view of Bangkok Sky Bar on the King Power Mahanakhon building. You can also feel the heat similar to what you experience in Bangkok in other cities in Southeast Asia (apart from maybe upper Vietnam and the highlands of each country), depending on the season and period you visit. Normally, before the rain when humidity surges, it can make you feel very uncomfortable because the water can't evaporate from your body. People would prefer dry heat in that case. What you feel isn’t the warmest Bangkok can offer; it’s just another normal day in the rainy season. However, Bangkok can be significantly warmer than other cities, particularly in the summer when temperatures can go up to 43 degrees Celsius plus humidity in the worst years. Before, 40 degrees Celsius was very rare and hard to come by, but it has become the new normal for at least the last 10 years. Bangkok is flat and full of concrete, which also produces tons of pollution that traps the heat like an oven. Yangon is also flat but much greener, though it can still reach 40 degrees Celsius. Jakarta is similar to the south of Thailand, and Malaysia rains more often, so the heat can't accumulate for long. Anyway, Bangkok can be below 20 degrees Celsius in a very rare good cold season, which the south of Thailand and below will never experience such temperatures.
Bangkok is just controlled Chaos, and I love it for it, best city in the world, been to many of the major city's but Bangkok is the only one of them I do not hesitate to revisit every year, it's just another world. The food, the people, the culture, the mix of modern and old, it is perfect.

Your 1st dish called "Kao Pad Kaprao" (fried pork with hot basil leaves with rice) the 2nd was "Moo krob" (crispy pork with rice). For the shaved ice mixed sweets you had at Siam Paragon; green bean actually was rice noodle, sweet potatoes actually were bananas, squash thing was Thai cantaloupe.
I believe the green bean you mentioned in the bowl of your dessert with shaved ice is not green bean. In fact, it's made from flour and green pandan leaf color. At some food courts, you have to buy a food court card and use that card to buy food. When you finish your meal, you can use that card to redeem your money that left in the card.
For any dishes that you don’t want it to be spicy, you can say “mai ped” = not spicy “Mai sai prig” = no chili “Ped noi” = less spicy “Ped nid noi” = a little spicy When order Somtum, don’t say a little bit spicy, because they usually put 3-5 chilis for a little bit spicy level. You can specify the level of spiciness by say“somtum prig ….[number]… med” for example, “somtum prig nueng med”= somtum with one chili. “somtum prig sawng med” = som tum with two chilis. 22:20 that’s not green beans, it’s pandan flour/tapioca in coconut milk and coconut sugar

Food or drinks in Thailand are quite sweet. You should say “mai wan” it’s mean not sweet or say “wan noi” it’s mean a little sweet.
