Thai food is not sweet but if you don't like sweet you just don't put sugar on Phad thai. That's all. I saw you put sugar in it and you said it sweet. Normally when we eat Pad thai we squeeze lime on it It will taste just right.
You can find delicious Thai food outside and at a cheaper price. This is a shopping mall. Therefore the price is quite high. Have fun traveling in Thailand.

You should have squeezed the lime on the Pad Thai. It wud have made the taste a LOT better!!! It is not the cheese on the Thai Crispy Pancake but it is the egg yolk mixed with sugar, one of the traditional Thai desserts.

Recommend you check out Wang Lang Market. A lot of good food and the price is like half of Icon Siam. It’s near the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Maybe you plan to visit these three places in one day. Also don’t forget to check out Wat Arun too. You can rent Thai costumes for nice pictures. Recommend to go to a restaurant/bar on the opposite side of the river and watch sunset in Wat Arun’s view.
The pork stick (Moo Ping), it is sweet because the pork is marinated in coconut milk and seasoning. Your purple ball is Kanom Krok (Thai coconut pancake). คนไทยส่วนใหญ่เค้าไม่ค่อยชอบกินผัดไทยเท่าไหร่หรอกเพราะมันเป็นอาหารที่เบื่อง่าย อาหารเมืองไทยมีเป็นร้อยเป็นพันอย่างที่อร่อยๆทั้งนั้นแต่ชาวต่างชาติที่มาใหม่ๆรู้จักแต่ผัดไทย ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง ซึ่งมันเป็นอาหารพื้นๆของคนไทยนะ ถ้าอยู่ไทยนานๆจะรู้ และอาจไม่กลับไปกินผัดไทยอีกเลยก็ได้
จริง เราก้ไม่ชอบผัดไทย นานๆกินที ปีละ 2 หน
เวลาผมพาฝรั่งเที่ยว ตามบ้านนอก พาไปล้มวัวทำซอยจุ๊กินกัน พร้อมเหล้าขาว ฝรั่งชอบมากว้าว ไม่เคยกินแบบนี้มาก่อน
งั้นเราก็เป็นส่วนน้อยที่ชอบผัดไทยค่ะ555 ถ้าร้านอร่อยคือกินได้บ่อยๆเลย แต่ถ้าไม่ได้กินบ่อยคงเพราะประเทศเราของกินเยอะเกิน 30วันไม่ซ้ำเมนู
ถ้าให้เลือกผัดไทยกับหอยทอด ขอเลือกหอยทอดชอบๆๆ😊
