This is the song that made me fall in love with Grieves' music. Hearing the transformation in his sound is pretty incredible, but I will always come back to this number.
This song is an instant classic, it was great back in my highschool days and it still sounds great in 2020. Almost 10 years now and it's still catching vibes, good memories for sure.

In 2019 rn. This is a song you listen to on a late night drive n I fucking love it. It’s amazing. The vibes are insane. I remember listening to this when it first came out and I just came back to the song now.
I remember coming up on Grieves on youtube when he was starting out. Sitting with his music trying to find a future. Now I bump it in my house with my kid and remember where I came from and who's music helped me through it. This song always hits different no matter where I am in life.

a guy i like got me into grieves. im glad, because i didnt think ive ever had a hip hop arrtist who could make a single song that has touched my emotions in the way grieves does with his music. now, every night when me and that guy talk, we quote different grieves songs to eachother :)

I like the lyrics. When he says that he feels as though he is traveling at light speed he wants to 'slow down'. Now as you know, light is composed of photons. When you stand outside in the sun you absorb photons which is why you feel warmer in the Sun. The photons give their energy to you. I take this as meaning that we should focus more on giving out positive energy into the world onto others. If everyone did this then the world would be filled with positive energy always being transferred from one to another. This probably isn't exactly what he was going for but I like this interpretation.

This song is hitting me right now more than ever. Im about to be 21 this year and Im noticing that my group of friends are drifting apart. Some are moving far so we probably won't be seeing each other much. Its cool though, last night we all kicked it, went out, got drunk, and smoked weed. It was then that i realized I wouldn't be seeing some of them for a long time. This song just reminds me of a lot of moments I spent with them. We've all done drugs and stuff but some of them have had problems over using them. I just hope they'll be okay.
This song is depressing it talks about times past time that you can only reflect on knowing that you can never revisit but it's necessary necessary understanding of this that makes us cherish what we have now

First heard this song back in like 2012 and it was immediately one of my favorite rap songs. Kinda forgot about it for a while, then I just randomly thought of it and put it on in October 2019, and let me tell you, this is a timeless song....truly a hard hitting song that will give you goosebumps when you hear it. This will always be one of my favorite rap songs!
