Do not have fier extinguisher near or close to approved heat source because it might get to hot to use manufacturer specifications 4-5 foot away from approve heat sourses also have more than one in case if its a dud
Where can I get my extinguisher either replaced or refilled (if possible)? We recently had an oil fire and we have an empty extinguisher (used way before 1990, I wasn't born). We couldn't put it out with water so we used baking soda. We still need an extinguisher! We have 2 empty ones actually.
It depends wether it is a rechargeable extinguisher with a metal head or a disposable extinguisher with a plastic head. If it has a metal head, you can just google “fire extinguisher company (city)” and get it recharged. If it is the latter, you should dispose of the old one and buy a new extinguisher, preferably with a metal head and from any brand other than Kidde.
i have a fire extinguisher in my upstarirs closet under my kitchen sink one in my garage and one auto rated in all cars they have labels on the doors or cabnets their in
The kitchen sink chemicals are not stored right that might mix or leck chold cause chemical reaction you are suppose to have sds data binder to tell all about the chemicals
Very strategic. I don't know of you have a garage but have you thought of buying a purple k extinguisher if a car catches fire? Also have you thought of getting a bigger extinguisher than 2.5lb? I think a 5lb would be good by the fireplace and a 10lb in the ser or in the garage?
Nice video! I would recommend that you get a 5lb amerx or badger extinguisher for the fire place incase something went extremely wrong. It's just a suggestion please don't take it personally
I would mount those on the wall, I understand you can't use screws so you can use command strips, because if your fireplace or something had a fire you wouldn't want to bend over and get smoke and heat in your face
Aaron Productions Your fireplace is designed not to catch fire. If a wood burning fire in a wood burning fireplace (I had one for almost thirteen years) gets out of control, you first make sure the gas is turned off. Then close the curtains and glass doors. Keep the flue open; closing this will let smoke into the house. The best thing to do is just let the fire burn itself out. Once there is no more wood to burn, the fire will gradually die out. My new house where I've been for the past two years has a gas fireplace only though.
firefreak57 gas? lol what if you have a regular classic fireplace and a log rolls onto your carpet and sets the whole thing on fire and hits your couch and sets that on fire, also if the flue is clogged it skill put all the smoke and carbon monoxide in your house.
Aaron Productions Well they usually have a metal screen to prevent that from happening, plus those rack things that prevent the logs from rolling off. But yeah that would be a problem lol.
To me if I had fire extinguishers mounted everywhere on the wall they would start to look ugly after a while. Bending over maybe takes 0.5 sec so I am willing to take that risk, lol.
Traditional pressurized metal canister Fire Extinguishers are a 70 year old technology. For your family’s safety, check out the UL Listed Rusoh Eliminator: www.teamfti.com/eliminator
Took a look, have a question. 1: how long does the discharge last, I have multiple 20lb extinguishers in my home and compared to them the cartridge looks pathetic.
@@Intelwinsbigly Here's a few 5lb Eliminator's at UL Labs as The Eliminator earn UL Listing, NFPA and Cal Fire Approvals. The 5lb Eliminator (which has 6 lb's of 92% Map) has the knockdown power of a traditional 10lber: ruclips.net/video/ztEXafCC9Tc/видео.html
The Tundra looks like it blends in a little too much with the cleaning agents...
Cool man!!! Awesome collection! Love the fact that you protect the house! I'm putting some extinguishers and a system in my house!!!
Make a video of it
4:29 can you really fill a class abc fire extinguisher with water without air compressor?
What happens if the curtains are on fire?
LEGO Presentations Then get another extinguisher
Nice, those are cool looking
Great video 😀👍👍
I just got a PS-DASP (Silent Knight)

Why would you put a BC extinguisher inside a home other than the kitchen?

Instead of getting a few big ones, I got a bunch of small ones.
S.E.R. Safety true. It would be smart to have 1 or 2 larger ones for bigger fires or brush fires.
Awesome!
We had a kidde ab fire extinguisher and it exploded. I think it was because it fell on the floor and the cap got damaged.
Why do you have so many fire lines
Do you get your fire equipment from a company (I work with Bass United)?

what about that big rectangle shaped fire extinguisher
Great video!
There was a Kidde recall, I'd check your stocks of them.
bellum128 these aren’t affected but the recall

Good layout 👍 I'm not a big fan of Kidde/First Alert since I occasionally come across bad ones, but they get the job done when they're needed.
Sure, let's have badger commercial fire extinguishers in our house!
@@alexandersalarms5380 hopefully any fire extinguishers don’t have to be used but if it must then it must

You should get rid of the 2 kidde Extinguishers they were recalled becuase of the plastic handle
No, his are not. Only the straight handled ones are recalled.
If it were my property, I wouldn’t keep Kidde extinguishers anyway. Especially ones with plastic valves.
4 I would recommend the First Alert not the tundra
5 why you get a BC extinguisher but not make an all multi-purpose
you shoudn't have a fire extinguisher that close to the fireplace because if something did go wrong fire might block the extinguisher
