Something to take note of on those panels is you should be able to just press 1 and it will silence. Only for fire alarms though, you have to enter the code to silence burglary alarms. Also that is a very clean setup, nice!
You could wire the police portion to supervisory on the panel so that when security goes off it goes into supervisory

Glad to see another system on the channel! If you ever want to expand the system, I recommend using wireless sensors. Honeywell makes wireless receivers for the Vista systems. They also make keypads with built in wireless receivers like the 6160RF. The siren seen here is a Bosch D116. DSC rebranded it as the SD - 15W - ULF. Hope to see more soon!

FPL is not up to code on security systems. It’s only allowed to be used on the detectors and pulls on the system.
This is not meant to be code complaint, it’s a demonstration system.
That is loud. Lol The police tone is something I hear when exploring abandoned buildings and that is not even as loud as that one was. Love the videos 👍

As a security and fire system installer, I find that emt piped up siren mounted on a double gang j box hilarious to behold.
Why is that? Just because it makes it so much easier for the thief to get into? LOL
Dennis Aitken I’ve just never seen one of those installed like that in 20 years. That little $16 siren commands so much gravitas mounted that way. Usually in a commercial/workshop situation, you’d mount one of these,

If you do an addition to the system, you should add motion dectores and contact sensors on your doors/windows in the ser.
5:39 the white rectangular siren looks like a Aviss DS 01 but with french fire alarm (NF S 32-001 by AFNOR)

Btw you can use the fire button for a Drill button or a Initiating device
For a police panic you could also press * and # at the same time

Nice! I have a 10SE I plan on getting set up on a demo board. I got a panel, WAVE2 and a 6150 for around 25 bucks at a restore outside a certain city... *Hint* ASC. (;
You can actually silence a fire alarm (siren and keypad) on the Vista system by just pressing the 1 key. But to clear it, you need to enter a code then 1.
I have a off brand ademco security alarm that we took of the wall it still works

Back in the 1970s I used to do garage and house alarm systems. [Yeah! I'm old as heck!]
Honeywell, owned by Residio. It’s changed hands a bunch of times. FBI even had them for a while. ADT also had a license to use their boards, they called their vistas “safe watch pro”.
What company did you work for if you don’t mind me asking? My dad used to work for dictograph in the 70’s putting the key switch red and white light 1 zone panels in. You know the ones that you’d have to zone out yourself on terminal strips so you could trace out opens later?

I have a honeywell vista 20p System In My House But I Have A Ademco 6150 And 6160rf keypad with A DSC Siren Which I Think Is That Siren, It's Not Monitored
But I Really Recommend Those Sirens.
And Of Course I Have The Panel.

I think you should get the Vista Voice keypad. I keep telling the maintenance guys at my high school when our security system (honeywell) goes into full alarm they need to enter the code twice in order to fully reset the system.
Please can you do the medical 🏥 one that set off the alarm 🚨

Maybe you could add a wireless module to make adding sensors easier? (Or get a 6160RF keypad)
