1:08 is the reason why tool scratched a paint. Silver part is on outside it should be inside and when you are cutting the glue it sits above windshield but if it's on out side it above the paint surface and might scratch. Cool video. I'm going to try this one out.
Great video. I was thinking of buying that tool. But I was scared that the blades wouldn't hold up. So I guess they are strong enough. Question though, could you put some tape around the blade it self to keep it from scratching?

I've done glass for years. Soap and water and proper use of the tool will eliminate this problem.
Try putting the blade round the right way haha. Dont need backing if you know what you are doing. Leave it to the professionals
