    Nice work but if you don't mind me saying it's a better job if the flat part of the back gutter is much bigger otherwise everything gets cramped up when the tiles are on, I always directed the carpenter to build them up or did them myself to make them wider, I like your metal dressing plate

    That isn’t the way I was taught, my way is totally different, might have to start doing some videos myself, mine is a very old school approach, as I’ve said before, each to their own, you’ve done a good enough job but there are ways of doing things that are simpler and should I say better, I know I’m coming to the end of my working plumbing career, (plumbo in Latin means, bender of lead, plumber) the tradesmen I learned from where taught roughly 100 years ago, having said all that, great to see old trades still going, I’ve watched a lot of modern ways, nuralite, fibreglass etc but none does the job as well as lead and copper, when asked, how long do you guarantee your work, I say a thousand years because it’s going to last a lot longer than the ones asking 😊

      It’s all done from the ends of the lay boards to slate/tile
