Wondering about adding me as writer/producer/musician, to a song I wrote but my daughter is singing and I want it in her name? I want to make sure if I add me that she still is the one getting paid?
Thank for commenting! Your daughter would be the primary artist. After uploading the track, you'll find fields to credit contributors: Songwriter: Enter the names of individuals who wrote the lyrics and/or music. At least one songwriter must be credited. Producer: Enter the name(s) of the producer(s) overseeing the production. Musician: While there isn't a specific field labeled "Musician," you can include instrumentalists under roles like "Primary Artist" or "Featured Artist" if applicable.
@MoneyMinded__ After uploading the track, you'll find fields to credit contributors. For each contributor, select the appropriate role from the dropdown menu. Common roles include: Primary Artist: Main artist of the song or album. Featured Artist: Guest artist featured on the track. Songwriter: Individual(s) who wrote the lyrics and/or music. Producer: Person(s) who managed the production of the recording.
@ thank you for your reply, but what I was asking is, is that allowed? Like can my daughter release my song? I know there are rules about doing other peoples music.
@@robingrant1965 thank you so much for the feedback! I’m glad you found it helpful. 😀 if there’s anyone else you know who might enjoy the channel I’d love for you to share it with them. Thanks so much!!

thx
I have recently made a song with a paid, royalty free vocal. Do I credit the vocalist or the website I bought the vocal from?
