Weather just changed in Chicago suburbs from high 80’s to 70 degrees, so feels fallish to us. Remembering why sweaters are practice ( besides being fun to knit) love your video, like you difficult to wear any knitwear here in the full heat of the summer

14:20 silk is not a plant fiber: it comes from the silk worms. And depending on how it's processed, there are very light and transparent variations that a perfect for summer because they are very breathable and keeping you cool. The processes that make the silk fabric thicker, are good for autumn and winter because they keep warm, like wool does. The silk thread is actually keratin, so if you burn it, it will smell like any burnt type of wool, hair, or nails.
Aside from the ethical aspect (of obtaining silk), this fiber can get easily damaged by the sun, especially the thinner the thread is.
