believe alpha mode can be used by all dragons as long as the previous alpha dragon either have it to that dragon or they lost it to them by someone worthy of it
I think the death gripper belongs in the mystery class, purely because of its body type and fire type. But it could easily fit both striker and mystery
I feel like maybe most times that toothless has missed a target he wasn’t trying to hit it, just trying to scare it off (he seems like he would do that, too kind to need to hurt the dragon)

Can we just talk about HOW THE DEATHGRIPPER IS JUST NIGHTMARE FUEL! It literally tried to stab through Toothless’s neck or skull, kinda reminds me of Burn from wings of fire…
I agree with the triple strike of either staying or becoming a sharp class but the deathgrippers is sorta 50/50 for mystery or tracker, they fit perfectly in the mystery class but also are perfect hunters and trackers
New Strike class description: This is the most intelligent class of dragons with unique firepower or firepower with unique properties, these dragons have high maneuverability and speed
Im pretty sure the tripleSTRIKE and deathgripper do belong in strike class because “strike” doesnt have to be speed or breath/firepower. In their sense of strike is their tail, they strike really fast with their STRIKING TAIL.
As I’m a fan of both httyd and lockstin I’m so very glad you made this and I hope you can find the time to make the other classes too but well done and take the time you need aha :)
Thank you very much!! I'm currently writing the next one! And similar to lockstin, going into origins and details about specific dragons in other videos!
I think that for some of the later dragons, fire isn’t their primary attack but rather it is their tail, which is built for precise piercing shots similar to a scorpion.
As somebody who never got into this series before, but is doubling back now, this is a great way to build my investment into the series. Thank you for many great videos. Also you said splitting splines when talking about the light fury lol
*Iron* vises are an 18th century invention. Vises made mainly of wood date back to the 1st century, when they were mainly used to crush grapes or olives.
I guess this is where the Discworldian Noble Dragon goes. Giant, quadruped, likes sleeping on piles of gold. Basically, it's gone extinct except for individuals stuck in a weird pocket dimension where they're packed in like sardines.
Also, Toothless is a Tracker Class, Stoker Class (only seen in The Hidden World), and a Strike Class. Plus, The Light Fury is very Scared of teh Hoomans/Humans, and Triple Stryke is just a Deadly Nadder but with a purple and yellow color scheme and 3 Tails.
I feel like strike class would have 2 groups within them that have most of the similarities but one main difference: Attack Style Group 1: High energy blasts; The main difference between this and the other grouping would be the main way they attack, this uses the high energy blasts, ex. Skrill, Night Fury, Snow Wraith etc. Group 2: Quick and hard hitting; these dragons would be in this class because of their high speed and their powerful and quick attacks, such as those done by the triple stryke. The strike class would not be changes fully, but it would give room for new dragons to be put in this fairly small class, dragons that are intelligent, have powerful bites, and have an attack or attacks that hit hard very quickly, this is the definition that I would use, which makes speedstingers a close fit into it, but they lack the higher intelligence that is required to be in this class (like being able to be truly tamed around humans)
I only realised that the slithersong and deaths on are the same thing the death song is a dragon form the slithersong species I figured that out from playing rise of berk it helps a lot.
Deathgrippers are like the triple stryke they are on the edge of being on strike class they have fast movement there agile yes they might have Sharp class characteristics but its adapted for the prey it hunts and we only see deathgrippers under the control of grimmel so we couldn't see its true nature and its in strike class when it was found in the wild uncontrolled and there able to catch up with toothless and when going to sting its incredibly fast so I would say it deserves strike class but just on the edge 👇(like if you agree)
4:42 well, now we know a lot about them. They're a social species. Some of them can shoot lightning powerful enough to rival that of a Titan wing skrill. And the older they are, the more difficult it is to reason with one unless both your and its life are in danger.
I have some what of a theory on how the skrill shoots lightning. With a watery mist! It uses some type of liquid mist stored in its body then channels the electricity to allow it to travel in one direction. This can be best explained in the short for the book of dragons when the skrill is spraying a bright, white mist. This is just a theory tho and I am not 100% aware with how electric currents work. 🤷♂️
@@NewOrca yeah, the noght fury’s design is kind of over used and not super special, its features are found iin other dragons, however ypu dont see a dragon shooting lightning or a deagon with three scorpion tails, i definitely like the night fury, but i dont like it enough for it to become a favourite of mine, i know people love it for its personality, but i feel its a bit overrated, like all main characters of a show it grabs a lot of attention, if i had to make a top 10 list i would put the night fury in, 3rd place, i love it more than a lot of the others but its design just doesn’t cut it for me

Can we just talk about HOW THE DEATHGRIPPER IS JUST NIGHTMARE FUEL! It literally tried to stab through Toothless’s neck or skull, kinda reminds me of Burn from wings of fire…
Triple Stryke my favourite
I agree with the triple strike of either staying or becoming a sharp class but the deathgrippers is sorta 50/50 for mystery or tracker, they fit perfectly in the mystery class but also are perfect hunters and trackers
New Strike class description: This is the most intelligent class of dragons with unique firepower or firepower with unique properties, these dragons have high maneuverability and speed
All I’m gonna say is the Skrill is without a doubt the single coolest and most intimidating dragon to ever be introduced to this series
Im pretty sure the tripleSTRIKE and deathgripper do belong in strike class because “strike” doesnt have to be speed or breath/firepower. In their sense of strike is their tail, they strike really fast with their STRIKING TAIL.
FINALLY, SOMEONE ELSE WHO THINKS THE TRIPLE STRYKE IS A PIKACHU DRAGON!!!!!
Skirlls will always be my favorite since I saw him for the first time when I was a kid
Lokstin reference ? I'm here for it
Hell yeh!
We think the term 'vice-like jaws" is supposed to mean a quick, swift bite, which fits a class known for their speed
Imagine sound fury or something like that
As I’m a fan of both httyd and lockstin I’m so very glad you made this and I hope you can find the time to make the other classes too but well done and take the time you need aha :)
Thank you very much!! I'm currently writing the next one! And similar to lockstin, going into origins and details about specific dragons in other videos!
Anyone else think the Lavender Skrill should be a Mystery-class due to the scent-based hunting tactics?
I think that for some of the later dragons, fire isn’t their primary attack but rather it is their tail, which is built for precise piercing shots similar to a scorpion.
As somebody who never got into this series before, but is doubling back now, this is a great way to build my investment into the series. Thank you for many great videos.
Also you said splitting splines when talking about the light fury lol
the one with the three spike tails (deathgripper?) dosn't it look like it could be a pokemon?
This is incredible my man, I'm gonna watch them all
*Iron* vises are an 18th century invention. Vises made mainly of wood date back to the 1st century, when they were mainly used to crush grapes or olives.
It has Been a bit since i watched how to train your dragon, should rewatch it 😅
I guess this is where the Discworldian Noble Dragon goes.
Do this for httyd how every dragon in the world went to the hidden world and lived under toothlesses rule together
What this man was trying to say, splitting spines, he said, splitting SPLINES
You’re such a legend for this
Please do more of these !!!!!!
Im working in it XD
The algorithm has brought me here :D
What requirements would a flightless dragon require to be strike class?
probably speed and manuverability
Maybe it flies like a flying snake? And it has to have insane reflexes and maneuvering ability, maybe fire power on the side just for good measure
@@NewOrca that means the speed stingers are strike class
I feel like strike class would have 2 groups within them that have most of the similarities but one main difference: Attack Style
Group 1: High energy blasts; The main difference between this and the other grouping would be the main way they attack, this uses the high energy blasts, ex.
Death griper could easily be a mystery aswell as tracker or sharp but strike is still a decent fit for it
I found your channel 2 videos ago. Now your making Pointless references.
New favourite channel aquired...
I'd say Deathgrippers belong in many different classes tbh, Sharp, Strike, And very loosely mystery
13:50 don't forget, they understood what a simple whistle and snap meant while drugged
The thumbnail and title reminded me of Lockstin & Gnoggins series about every types pokemon
I only realised that the slithersong and deaths on are the same thing the death song is a dragon form the slithersong species I figured that out from playing rise of berk it helps a lot.
The slithersong is a subspecies of Deathsong
the way this guy says stoik the vast is just perfect
yesss your back
Deathgrippers are like the triple stryke they are on the edge of being on strike class they have fast movement there agile yes they might have Sharp class characteristics but its adapted for the prey it hunts and we only see deathgrippers under the control of grimmel so we couldn't see its true nature and its in strike class when it was found in the wild uncontrolled and there able to catch up with toothless and when going to sting its incredibly fast so I would say it deserves strike class but just on the edge
👇(like if you agree)
I love you videos because i grew up with How to Train Your Dragon 😊😊
1:33 always that description of the nightfury would fit much better with the skrill
4:42 well, now we know a lot about them.
They're a social species. Some of them can shoot lightning powerful enough to rival that of a Titan wing skrill. And the older they are, the more difficult it is to reason with one unless both your and its life are in danger.
The Triple Stryke was peak dragon design
I have some what of a theory on how the skrill shoots lightning. With a watery mist! It uses some type of liquid mist stored in its body then channels the electricity to allow it to travel in one direction. This can be best explained in the short for the book of dragons when the skrill is spraying a bright, white mist. This is just a theory tho and I am not 100% aware with how electric currents work. 🤷♂️
my favourite dragons in the whole serious are
a) skrill
b) triple stryke
and that's it
Only those two? Not even the Nightfury?
@@NewOrca yeah, the noght fury’s design is kind of over used and not super special, its features are found iin other dragons, however ypu dont see a dragon shooting lightning or a deagon with three scorpion tails, i definitely like the night fury, but i dont like it enough for it to become a favourite of mine, i know people love it for its personality, but i feel its a bit overrated, like all main characters of a show it grabs a lot of attention, if i had to make a top 10 list i would put the night fury in, 3rd place, i love it more than a lot of the others but its design just doesn’t cut it for me
I'm surprised you didnt mention that the Skrill was at one point a concept for toothless, but was deemed too scary lol. Maybe that was just a rumor back in the day?
And Im shocked that cloudjumper isn't in this class, it seems to fit these requirements :0 Either way, so glad you made such a nice couple of vids.
I agree the death grip should be mystery, and triple strike feels very weird to be strike lol.
Strike class dragons are more akin to super predators or apex of the dragons
They are the deadliest , smartest and lethal of all dragon classes
Nightfurys being so lethal that grimmel Drive them to extinction
Skrill is called out by Viggo as "the only singetail predator"
The triple Stryke being undefeated champion on his arena (not to mention his species are lone wolfs that literally drive praid on defeating alphas or the strongest dragons of other groups
Death grippers were used by grimmel to hunt down the night fury's
Snow wraith was considered a legend since now one ever saw one before hiccup search for him to unlock the eye of the dragon
If you were to put most dragons in a Mano a Mano against anyone in the strike class they'll become the prey
7:21 caught me off guard that was a great cut
This reminds me of Lockstin and gnoggin so much
Edit: I saw a Lockstin thumbnail. This is a reference guaranteed!
Am i the *only* one who wants to point out that he used *Lockstin and Gnoggin’s* Dragon Type thumbnail?
9:13
Don't forget that the Skrill hiccup and toothless fought with was frozen in ice for 3 Years!!!
