WOW! Good thing I was sittin down. Its like the bike a guy I used to work with in a battery business down here. He left, went to work for 2 others Mon Tues and Thurs Fri. Me and another bloke went to his place one Sunday with half a doz. He had something similar. Yours looks better. Ep 2 next Thanks m8!
Thanks mate I'm glad you enjoyed the video, it was a very good bike and never missed a beat. I do miss it but never fear I have 2 more project bikes that will be on the channel soon.
I started a GPX750 project a couple of years ago. Life has really chucked everything it can under the wheels of the thing, but hopefully I will get it finished in time for spring!
My 2nd bike (to comply with UK licencing laws) was a GPX250R in 1998; within the limitations you can expect of the model it's still one of the best bikes I owned. I think my uncle had a late 80s GPX600 or it might have been a ZZR600 (I was only 8 at the time and memory is fuzzy). Very much interested in getting a late 80s/early 90s sportstourer type project: GPX750, ZZR11, GPZ11 all in the running along with Bandit 1200S
All very good bikes you listed mate. I also had a GPX600r before this one and to be honest didn't really like it as much. I also have a zxr250 project bike that's in the workshop now and hopefully be doing some videos on soon. That one is a full strip down and rebuild with some performance mods for good measure

Good luck with the project mate and hopefully you can get it back on the road and enjoy it.
