Yes; I worry about their neutrality. But just as I believe we can have 19 impartial jurors found in New York for Trump's hush-money trial.. I also want to believe that our Supreme Court Justices, while having viewpoints that may influence what they perceive as 'right' or proper interpretations, can be impartial as well. And that's a strength.

We lost 13 lives, unnecessarily, and left 80 billion dollars of military equipment to be used against the Taliban enemies. The only problem with the infrastructure act is that very little of that money has actually been used for the infrastructure. Forgiving student loans is ridiculous. especially when our tax dollars would be spent supporting the current pro Palestine protestors, while preventing other students from even going to classes or participating in graduation ceremonies. That's money well spent (sarcasm intended).

High time for SCOTUS term limits.
More so for senators.
Term limits won't keep out bad judges. We need a serious vetting process for all positions in government and judicial system so we can cut way down on this sort of nonsense and a much easier way to remove them if they do cross lines. Now that people live longer I'd suggest nobody under 55 or 60 be allowed on the bench and a certain amount of time in lower courts be achieved before they can even be considered.

Like Judge Merchan in the Trump case? After all, his daughter does run Authentic Campaigns, whose clients in include Dan Goldman, Kamala Harris, Adam Shiff, the DNC. Slow walking the case? Some J6 defendants are still in pre-trial detention for 40 months, for misdemeanor trespassing charges. The documents case in FL... The defence has 13 MILLION PAGES (that's equivalent to 7.6 Washington Monuments tall or 0.8 miles (1300M), and 4TB OF VIDEO TO REVIEW. Every defendant, including Trump, has the right to due process. Remember, we live in a republic where every single citizen has rights. Whether you like the guy are not is irrelevant. The State does not have to right to a speedy trial. The Defendant has the right to a fair trial. So far, Judge Cannon in FL is the only judge who seems to be impartial and fair.

The appointment to the federal bench should be for life, with a retirement age of 80, but tenure of justices on the Supreme Court should be for six year terms. After that the justice steps down and returns to the federal Court of Appeal, and a new justice is appointed from the federal Court of Appeal. These clowns, shoved on by McConnell, and who are just ignoring the rule of law, have to be held to account.
There are only 2 , maybe 3 , Supreme Court Justice , I think I could trust to be impartial . And at 73 , I am scared to even try to think about what our children grandkids and great grandkids , are going to do to live in the world .

Justices should be removed as soon as they are caught lying. When they were interviewed for the job by senators, they said that Roe v Wade was settled law. They were going to leave that alone. Of course, they overturned it as soon as possible.

Pretty sickening stuff. It is long past time for us to move away from relying on the integrity of a few politically appointed individuals for the stewardship and administration of Justice. Dilute the court down the to the level of the Appellate Court and rely on a larger number and greater diversity among the justices. And, do away with lifetime appointments, as no individual should ever be trusted with this much power and influence, including presidents, justices and all public servants. Only a fool or a person with ill intent would even accept a position with this kind of power and not insist on a robust system of rules and constraints. The current individuals clearly lack the character and professional integrity to responsibly wield the power we entrust them with. They, their means, and their ends are wholly and completely anti-democratic in all meaningful respects.
Both should recuse themselves. The People should demand it!

I disagree on accountability comments. What accountability is visible in the congress. It's a sh*tshow through and through.
George Santos was expelled from Congress just recently. While there should be more, he was a prime example of what should happen.

Question: So Jurist Alito doesn't rule his own roost? The hen gonna do as she wish without due regards to the position her husband holds on the SCOTUS? No excuse. Jurist Alito must recuse himself from cases involving J6 defendants. Time to change the composition of the SCOTUS!
