I did too!! It took a couple of seconds. But I guess once u hit a certain point in the world of extreme/overly done facial procedures, many of the people would start to look like MJ! Dark hair? Overly cooked face? Oh yeah, definitely an MJ look alike! Like it or not!

I once went for my eyebrows to be waxed at the same place I'd been going to for over a year and I always loved them when my usual person did them. I turned up and was told she'd called in sick so I had another lady doing my eyebrows that day and I was like "what's the worst that could happen?".
So I went into the room with this new woman and she wasn't really all that friendly to begin with and wouldn't talk to me so I stopped trying to make conversation with her as we got down to starting my eyebrows.
The wax was excruciatingly hot and it felt like my skin was melting away from my skull and she didn't seem to care when I told her about it and just carried on going while ignoring me (she was fully english by the way so it's not a case of her not understanding me and not being able to talk to me, she was just extremely rude). After what felt like an eternity in hot molten hell she shoves a mirror into my hand so I can look at my eyebrows and she's taken no hair off at all and there's still wax all over my face (even some bits dripped into my hair) so I said "yep, looks great" so I could escape the building quicker. Begrudgingly paid and went home.
The skin around my eyebrows was still hurting from how hot the wax had been and I still had wax all over my face so I had to Google how to remove wax from skin and had to sprint to the local shop and get some baby oil and cotton pads to soak my face until it all came off.
So at the end of this nightmare I had eyebrows exactly the same as I had before I went in and paid and I had bright red burns around them too for a few days.
Never went back there again.
I would LOVE you to do a whole video on Jessica Alves, I find her so fascinating, a lot of the interviews I've seen of her she seems to have a lot of sadness deep down, I can't help but feel sorry for her, I'm frightened what she will have done next after her what 12th nose job, sadly I don't think it's going to end well for her if she carries on. Cracking video by the way I was howling all the way through 😂

I once was going to a friends house to sleepover and had everything packed in my bag including my giant bag of makeup, i went shopping before and as soon as i was leaving the store ( which had a makeup stand where i normally buy some of my makeup) the alarm store assistant stopped me and asked to check my bag ( unfortunately normal when they see anyone alternative they assume that we're going to rob them lol) They search my entire bag and find the makeup bag and tell me that they will be calling the police on me for stealing their makeup . i told them to check the makeup and that it has been very much used, we argued back and forth and instead of calling the police they simply took my makeup bag from me . I lost a couple hundred euros of makeup that day just to someone who stereotyped people for the way they look :) yay
You should have called the police as they stole your property! :-o I would have just left to be honest.

Honestly though, Jessica Alves looks better now than she did during her “human Ken doll” look. She looks younger. Still a whole mess of interesting surgery choices on her body but I hope she’s happy and confident in who she is and how she looks now

My first time I got my nails 'professionally' done.
I had always just painted my nails myself and tend to let them grow out. the things are like steel or something idk, but I always shape them into claws.
Anyway, my mother had been telling me to come get my nails down with her at her favorite shop. She always got dip nails and I was hesitant because am super picky and getting nails done is not cheap. but she convinced me.
So at the time I have hammer horror elvira blood red nails. My mother was seen by the same lady as always, her nails turned out great as always. I got seen by the lady's husband. Now I chose a solid black dip nail with the same claw shape I do, just shortened, and to leave my cuticles alone. Now I could not understand the man, but I guess her couldn't understand me either. Because he gave me some black silver disco dust nonsense, my nails were oval, and he left some of the red polish on my nails. On top of that, he cut me the fuck up. With dirty, already used, disposable nail files he managed to file a hole in my finger. on EVERY FINGER. and he managed to cut my cuticles (despite me pulling away multiple times and saying 'no, I don't want that'.) so low that it felt like he was sawing my fingers off. I was trying so hard not to cry in the middle of the shop.
When we went to the store afterwards and I was able to wash the horrible oil he slathered all over them, I started bleeding. I started bleeding a lot. I couldn't do anything with my hands for days afterwards because they hurt like hell and would bleed just enough to ruin projects. I have no idea how I did not get an infection because it was just bad. When the pain finally passed it took me HOURS to shape my nails properly.
That was two years ago now but it did teach me a valuable lesson. I would sooner die then let someone else 'work' on my nails ever again :)
Granulation also happens with injections repeated so much and often ( and cheap fillers) that the body develops an inflammatory response to the filler. If you make your lips too big it can also start to leak out, as well as increasing the surface area of your lips so much that they will be so dry that you have to apply balm, Vaseline, etc every couple of minutes all day, every day. The girl with the scabby lips looks like her lip skin is dying from lack of proper blood flow because they are so inflated. I sure hope she had the filler desolved right away.
Take note ladies/gents/others cheaper may be fine for some things ie: hair spray, tinned tomatoes, or salad dressing, but when it comes to piercings, tattoos, and plastic surgery please wait and save your money if you have to. It's too dangerous to risk being botched or worse.

Not surgery related, but a few years back my best friend and I were having a day out in London. She suddenly spots an "eyebrow station" in one of the big fashion/beauty shops. Since eyebrow threading was a big thing at the time, she decided to get it done. Suddenly this woman is leaning over her with the thick threads pulled taut between her fingers, and a thread between her teeth?!
So she goes at it. My bestie trying not to yelp and winge as she feels like her actual soul is being sucked out of her face.
When done, her brows look soooo thin, and the woman smears some lotion over them. She keeps trying to get me in the chair, but hell no girl! I don't want a string that's been in your gnarly teeth near my face!!
Anywhos, throughout the day, bestie is complaining on/off her brows itch, and that it aches. It hurts when her brows move (I feel awful for keep making her laugh 🤣) but as we part, I told her she looked kinda puffy, to keep an eye on it.
About 48 hours later she calls in hysterics. He entire forehead has swollen. What was left of her brows has completely fallen out and in its place is a nasty rash!!!
She had to get antibiotic cream.

What are you talking about? That’s how you thread. You can get burns or little cuts from the thread which is what causes the irritation. I assume it’s the neat, sculptured looked people like about it. It doesn’t agree with everyone and also depends on how skilled the therapist it.
Yeah, that is definitely how eyebrow threading is done. I'm thinking your friend either had an unusual reaction to the procedure or an allergic reaction to the topical the threader applied to the area afterwards. I'm thinking it's more likely the latter, since the threading could cause enough injury/irritation to give a direct route the anything applied topically. And the product applied afterward could be a number or different things. I am particularly sensitive to threading with me eyes streaming tears & my skin redness remaining for hours afterward, but nothing like this.
It can’t be normal for the person performing the service to put that in their mouths then using it on your face?! That’s stomach churning for me personally because people’s mouths are so dirty! Good way to pass on so many different types of infection. No thanks if that is normal eesh ! >
@@kirstenornelas881 To be clear, they are not putting in their mouths, followed by the person's face. The mouth is used to keep the string taught so it provides tension for the technique. Similarly, the string shouldn't actually be touching the skin (which would pinch it), but instead the hairs on top to grab & remove them.
Similar to waxing, or hair removal in general, threading isn't for everyone. If one is fortunate enough to have options, no judgement for personal preference :)

Idk it sounded strange and since the poor girl got an infection seems like there must have been a lot of that string in that person's mouth 😆 . Made my stomach turn thinking about how you would even get an infection from that
there is something about plastic surgery that makes everybody look the same at one point...i will never understand why people getting theirselfes into this without a reeeeeally good reason.

I'm a super pale girl like you. I was wondering what tan you use? Because it looks so nice! I've never had any luck with tanning before!
I have a whole routine!
Shower and wash your body with ordinary bar soap (a really basic one with no moisturiser in it, so the tan doesn’t go streaky!)
Wait 30 minutes
Then I use a spray based clear tan, that doesn’t have to be washed off. The one I use is Tanologist Dark Tan Water, but the Isle of Paradise one is good too!
And then the next evening I’ll apply a second coat, and shower in the morning.
It gives me such a good tan for a week or so, the only thing I haven’t worked out yet is how to get it fully off to prime for the next round 😂😂😂

My story is, I wanted to tuck in my ears a bit more because they stick out quite a bit. So I used really strong super glue and it's worked great! Till it started itching and burning, then I could smell my burnt hair and skin. Anyway one hospital trip later, I have two scars behind my ears 😅

weird as heck, but lips like that, in the first one is a fetish, i do artwork, digital drawings mostly, so i take commissions, and i have come across quite a lot of art with lips like that, i've never actually drawn it myself but its a thing, and its a lot more common than people would think. it looks awful to most of us but there's a huge underground fandom for stuff like that its insane. that's just one of those things normal people wouldn't know about, you're welcome xD

Every time i want lip fillers i see lip migration and its like. I'd rather have a lipectomy. I'd rather have no lips. Holy mackerel.
I get that DSLs are a goal for some people but moderation. It's easier to add more if there isn't enough than take away!
So this was more about a cream, but it taught me to put a little bit of makeup or cream on my arm so I can test what it does to my skin. I had put a lot of new moisturizer on my body, because my skin got really dry. My skin turned bright red, and I had to run to the shower to get it off. IT BURNED!! Alway test your makeup or creams first before u use it. Especially around your eyes.

cosmetic horror story. gay cis man (otter/bear, where is the line?)soon to be 42. I hate shopping for makeup, drugstores, MAC, Sephora, department store, they are all the same. I wear a very light daily beat. I do it for me, not for the the average onlooker! So when ever I go (went) shopping. I’m treated in one of 3 ways. Shoplifter, Invisible, or a child. Shoplifter, they follow me and or call security. Invisible, perhaps I get a polite nod, but usually no eye contact no conversation. Short answers to my question. Child, I get treated like a idiot and talked down to. Or worse treated like a novelty. Why can’t anyone just colour match me? (I am actually Pink!) And ask what type of skin I have. Rather than Why? Who? Where? Wear? Halloween season helps. Yes I sometimes lie and say I’m a makeup Artist , not just an enthusiast. Sending love to all the makeup counter reps, I know it’s tough, I’m tough but stick to the makeup that’s what I’m there for!
