When I was 16 I was very punk rock and wanted purple hair. My mom helped me dye it, and it turned our entire tub a light pink. The hair turned out great, but we had a pink tub until my mom sold the house 10 years later. Rock on, Lux 🤟
My friend was punk rock in the 70-ties ( I sort of trotted along) and she dyed her hair in all fun colours, for which we walked hours to obtain them in obscure little shops. Her mom was ever so mad after the a dyeing session because it permantly stained towels, the foor ánd yes, the tub.
I'm into Metal since I'm 12 or 13. I coloured my hair red for over 5 years. I just got too lazy since I started to work 8 to 5, so I stopped, although I still love how it looked like. Long story short. My moms tub never recovered from it, despite her trying all sort of different products since I moved out. The red just turned into a pink 😄
I dye my hair constantly bright colours, i found the trick to removing bathtub/bathroom stains is using anti-mould spray, windows wide open, door closed and spray down with hot water/wipe with damp cloth. Works every time! 😊

Omg y'all be careful around your eyes with dyes!! The swelling can weaken the muscles around your eyes and cause drooping, which can take a while to fix!
I have a minor horror story. I am a mixed chick (black and white) and as such my hair has about 4 different curl patterns from 3c to 4c. There is one patch on the back of my head where if I even look at the spot the wrong way, my hair locs in that one spot. I went to get a haircut and I know that for my hair you have to straighten the hair before cutting because otherwise a roundabout would end up straighter than my hair. The lady didn't listen to how I requested she cut my hair because according to her, I was just being "nitpicky" and I wanted to "waste her time get free services". So she cut my hair in its natural kinky state and I ended up with several sections that were all different lengths from shoulder length on the longest to about a half inch on the shortest. I was livid and she got mad at me when I only gave her about a 9 percent tip for her work. I didn't go to another salon for 5 years after that

I learned that lesson that the hard way, but never again. Now I kinda actually know what I'm doing. Although for a free months I looked so ridiculous 😂😂
When I was in high school, I really wanted my hair bright blonde, but my mom didn't want me to dye my hair. A friend of mine helped me do a box dye over a sleep over, and it turned out pretty good, a little yellow but not awful. I wanted to keep the blonde up on my roots and a different friend suggested I put hydrogen peroxide on my hair. Long story short, after months-years of peroxide abuse, my hair turned into straight up elastic. Always tangled and gross. It was awful. I ended up having to cut a foot off of my hair. I also dyed it brown and let it grown natural for about 2 years before I started getting my hair done again.

Vegan cruelty free product suggestion: I highly recommend He / Shi a gradual self tan (they can build up slightly over time). It is advertised for all genders and is inclusive. I use the lightest which is like a nice golden sallow glow. It is water proof it will not budge! You’ve to stay in the nip or in underwear standing up till it dries.

SneakyPegnuin should have just used another colour remover though lol!! For a clean lavender/pastel purple you definitely need to be almost white lol
